Michael's POV

We got pass the screaming fans. It was nice to see how loved I am. My driver, Grant, gets us all to the hotel, Okura. It's close to the Korakuen Stadium.

On the way in, fans scream my name. I wave and smile at them. We get inside and Frank leads us to the elevator. I say,

"I rented out the entire top floor. "

Chase says, "Awesome! "

I look at Adam. He keeps looking all over the lobby. He's genuinely in awe of what he sees. We get in the elevator and go to the top floor.

As everyone exits the elevator, I lay back to walk with Adam. Adam smiles at me. As we walk, Frank tells each dancer whose room is whose.

I whisper,

"You wanna hang out in my room? "

He chuckles quietly and whispers back,

"What? Like a sleepover? "

I smile and whisper,

"Yeah. Why not? "

Adam smiles and whispers,

"Sure. Just let me get my stuff secure. "

Frank says, "This is you, Michael. "

I nod and say to Adam,

"You can bring your stuff. "

Adam says, "Alright, thanks. "

I say to Frank, "Adam is gonna hang out with me tonight. "

Frank nods and says, "Alright. "

I notice Pepper, Martha, and Shaun looking on, a bit suspicious. I ignore the looks. Adam is right. We are friends, who cares about what others think.

I open the door and let Adam in. I shut it behind him. Adam looks around the room and says,

"This is just amazing. "

I smile and say, "I'm glad you like the room. I enjoy it quite a lot. "

Adam tosses his bag down and jumps on the bed. I laugh and ask,

"How can you be so worried about your bag if you throw it around like that? "

He shrugs his shoulders and says,

"I like it when I mess up my stuff. Not others. "

I take off my jacket and toss it in the couch. I turn the TV on. I gasp. Adam asks,

"What's wrong? "

I smile and say, "Simpsons is on! I love this show! "

I walk back until I sit on the bed. Just as I do, Adam takes the remote from me and says,

"Michael, we gotta watch Cyclops. "

I look at him alarmed and ask,

"Cyclops? What is that? "

He senses my alertness and smirks. He turns the TV down and keeps his eyes on me. He lowers his voice. He sounds evil,

"A bizarre medical exam of a nude woman by several doctors and scientists reveal that their latest subject has committed suicide before giving birth to one of the mutant creatures they had placed within her body. So, an investigative crew of scientists (along with a large human mutant cyclops creature) head out to the city streets to obtain a new donor/victim in the form of a young girl. "

My heart is racing. I want to seem tough, so I say,

"Sounds...interesting. "

He smirks and says, "Good. It's coming on in like five minutes. "

I force a smile and say, "Oh goodie. "

Adam gets up and heads into the small kitchen. He goes through the cabinets until he finds what he's looking for. Popcorn.

I head into the bathroom and close the door. I look at myself in the mirror and whisper,

"It's just one scary movie. How bad can it be? You'll be fine, Michael. Be a man! "

I take a deep breath and go back into the room. Adam is standing at the bed looking at me. He sighs and says,

"If you have to give yourself a pep talk, then maybe we shouldn't watch the movie. "

He has the popcorn in a bowl in his hands. I say,

"Well, I'm quite embarrassed. "

He smiles and says, "No reason to be. Just turn it back on the Simpsons. "

He takes a seat on the floor and leans against the bed. I stand in front of him. He looks up at me.

I clench my jaw and say, "No. I want to watch Cyclops. "

Adam shakes his head and says,

"Michael, we don't have too. It comes on tomorrow anyway. I can watch it then. "

I say, "I'm not scared, Adam. I never get scared. "

He smirks and says, "Alright. Let's watch it. "

He gave in too easy. Now I'm screwed. I force a smile and sit next to him. I admit, I sat uncomfortably close, but I'm scared. I think he knows.

He hands me the bowl and says,

"The guard at the airport told me about the movie. He said it's beyond gory. I hope you have a strong stomach. "

I most certainly do NOT! This is going to be a rough night.

One Hour Later

Adam is sleeping peacefully on the ground. He insisted I take the bed since I was scared. I told him I wasn't, but we both knew that was a lie.

I don't see how he can sleep. That movie was horrifying! I got up to puke twice. It was horrible for me.

Adam just thought it was so funny. He better be glad he's my friend.

I can't sleep like this. I'm terrified. That damn Cyclops could jump out and get me at any moment! My twisting in turning in bed must've woken up Adam, because next thing I hear is,

"Michael, could you please stop. "

I say, "I'm sorry. I'm just edgy. "

He gets up. He looks half asleep. He rubs his eyes and sits on the empty side of the bed. He turns the lamp on his side on. He says,

"Alright Michael, this is what's gonna happen, I'm going to stay up and keep a watch out for the Cyclops. This way, you can sleep. "

I ask, "You'd do that for me? "

He nods and says, "Sure thing, buddy. Get some sleep, alright. "

I say, "Thank you. I'm really glad you're here, Adam. "

He smiles at me and says, "Just sleep, Mike. "

I turn over and close my eyes. That's the first time he shorten my name. I guess I notice the small stuff. I'm a very detailed person. I take notice easy.

Adam is great. He's a wonderful friend.
