3rd person POV

As he woke up, as he got ready, during lesson, and even walking home from school, Dark was constantly thinking of how on Earth he'd ask Anti, his best friend of all people, to go to the school dance with him.

He'd never even gone out with someone, much less ask someone out for fear of rejection and embarrassment.

Dark sighed during his last lesson, which unfortunately was maths, but it was thankfully the one he had with Anti.

As their teacher went on and on about something to do with the Pythagoras theory that Dark could really not be bothered with at this point in time, Dark looked over at Anti who was currently writing down notes and silly scribbles in his book.

"H-Hey Anti..." Dark whispers, scooting closer to the male slightly as he pretended he was copying from Anti's notes.

"Yea Dork?" Anti replied teasingly.

Dork was a new nickname, along with Darkidoo, Anti had given to Dark ever since he found out how much of a dork he really was, especially about space, both him and Mark could talk about space for hours with no end.

Dark smiled, rolling his eyes in response.

"Remember h-how we agreed to hang out and catch up?"

"Yea, why'd you ask?" Anti asks Dark in a hushed voice

"W-Well I was think-king we'd..Uhm h-have a sleepover...I-I know we're teens and I-it's a pretty childish thing...b-but I thought it'd be nice you know " Dark mentally face palmed himself.

Why am I so awkward? Dark groaned internally.

But Anti didn't seem to mind at all about it being childish, in fact he loved the idea

"Of course we can have a sleepover Dark! You can come round to my place since my parents and siblings aren't there, they went to my aunts." Anti said excitedly, trying to contain in however since he knew he'd get loud.

"Alright. I'll be there as soon as a can" Dark agreed

{*Time skip throws a pillow at you *}

Ding dong

As soon as Anti heard the doorbell go off he rushed down the stairs and unlocked the door, smiling brightly at the sight of Dark there with a sports bag Anti suspected was full of thing

"Your here! Great, follow me!" Anti instructed, grabbing his friends hand before he could react and rushed him back upstairs into his room.

Anti's room had changed a lot since the last time Dark saw it.

Anti still had some toys and figures from when he was a child, but he had so many more games. He had posters of bands like Linkin Park, Panic! At The Disco, Set it off and so much more.

But probably the most prominent change, and most noticeable, was the one wall on Anti's room nearest to his bed that had a huge rainbow flag stuck to the wall along with many other things to do with gay pride.

"Woah...your room is way different the last time I saw it." Dark remarked in awe.

"What's with the huge rainbow flag?" Dark asked curiously as he examined the flag.

"I'm glad you noticed, ok sit down on your mattress and wait there, oh and also close your eyes." Anti directed, practically forcing Dark to sit on the mattress facing the wardrobe.

Dark curiously raised an eyebrow, but did as he was told and closed his eyes nonetheless. 

He heard shuffling and the sound of a door opening and closing.

"Ok, you can open them."

Anti's voice was muffled for some odd reason. But slowly Dark opens his eyes to find Anti wasn't there, but noticed some of the things found on the gay pride wall were gone

Suddenly, Anti bursts out the closet , wearing a rainbow flower crown and the flag now around his neck like a cape, not to mention some silly looking glasses with a rainbow pattern on them.

"I'm comin' out! I want the world to know!" Anti sang dramatically as he had previously burst from the closet, a huge smile on his face.

Dark couldn't help but laugh, already knowing what Anti was trying to tell him, he was coming out of the closet as gay

"I'm proud of you Anti, I'm glad you told me " Dark beamed, looking at Anti who sat next to him in the multi coloured attire.

"Thanks! I'm just happy everyone has been so accepting so far." Anti admitted.

And so the two spent their time together messing around, playing video games, and eating sweet treats.

Their last activity was a movie, a horror one since both of them were quite into that.

"Oh no you idiots! Don't go down there, the killers obviously gonna be there!" Anti yelled at the characters in the movie as he munched on some sweets, even though they obviously couldn't hear him, but it was still entertaining for Dark at least.

Soon enough, the two fell asleep halfway through the movie, snuggled close and holding one another.
