Nandini was on the terrace sitting on the swing actually on cabir's swing. She was just looking at the stars.

She heard some shuffling and the next think she knew manik was sitting right beside her.

It was silent for a while nobody said a word. They just sat there making up the separation of three months.

"I'm sorry you felt that way." Manik broke the silence and she didn't reply.

"I didn't eat pizza for past three months because I didn't have my pizza date with me. And you didn't drink without me because I'm your drinking partner." He said looking at her but she didn't reply.

"By the way how's Alec." He continued to start a conversation.

"Manik get out seriously you are annoying the heck out of me." She snapped and got up to leave but he pulled her back on the swing.

He jerked her towards himself and they were inched away.

"I won't let you go not now, not ever." Manik whispered and she just looked at him with soft eyes.

"I missed you sugar plum." He whispered almost emotionally.

They both were never apart since their childhood and now when they are they don't know how to handle it.

"No you didn't." She almost shouted and got up.

"Why would you think that?" He asked perplexed and got up.

"Because you avoided me." She murmered without looking at him.

"Nand----"

"Please manik save it." She said and stood there leaning towards the railing.

"I missed you okay. It hurt me that you left me without even asking if I'm okay with your decison. It hurt me that you stopped bothering about me. It hurt me that you got a new best friend and replaced me." Manik lashed on her and her eyes turned glassy.

They just want to vent out whatever they have inside them because they have been suffering from so many months.

So many misunderstandings have been built that if they won't clear it now then it will become a problem later in future.

"What do you think I didn't miss you? I was enjoying here? I was a mess manik. I realised that I was so dependent on everyone that I don't even know how to even pay my bills. And on top of all that you freakin' ignored me when I needed you the most. Do you think it was easy for me?" Nandini yelled venting out all her frustration.

He was numb and didn't know what to say. He had no idea what she was going through. He was her best friend and he didn't know what was happening in her life.

She walked upto him and pulled by his collar. Their faces were inches apart and now tears were flowing freely from her eyes. It was enough for her.

"I can handle anyone's ignorance but yours I can't. Main marr jaoongi manik agar tumne firse aisa kara toh"   She said and it was enough for her to breakdown. Because honestly he meant so much to her.

He didn't say anything just embraced her. He tightened his grip to assure her that he won't do this again. He won't leave her not today not ever.

"I'm so sorry sugarplum. I didn't know all this. I'm so so sorry." He whispered and kissed her head.

She clutched his shirt in her fist and cried her heart out. She has been strong from so long and now she wanted to let it out.

It was a while when they broke the hug. He wiped her tears and she looked at him.

"It's over now and I'm not going anytime soon." He promised and she finally cracked a smile.

"Let's go down now. I thought cabir was going to kill me because of his hunger problems." He joked and nandini hit his chest.

"Shut up meenakumari you were the one behind his attitude and cranky behaviour."

"Owee I missed this." Manik sighed hitting his chest lightly.

"Liar you were enjoying with other girls." She punched him on his stomach.

"Owee! It hurts nandini." He yelled holding his stomach and she smirked.

"Like I care." She said folding her arms.

"And you are asking this like a jealous girlfriend. Are you my girlfriend nandini?" Manik smirked and emphasised on the last sentence.

Her cheeks turned in hue colour which was a rare sight.

"Are you blushing nandini?" Manik asked leaning closer to make sure but she immediately turned around.

"Oh! Shut up why will I blush? Now let's go down they must be waiting for us." She dismissed the topic and turned around to leave.

Manik just stood their and smirked seeing her. They got down together and saw cabir and navya cuddling on the couch.

"Aw! Aren't you guys adorable?" Nandini fake gushed.

"Can't a couple cuddle without being taunted?" Cabir rolled his eyes and manik chuckled.

"She's kind of allergic to love and all shit." Manik said and jumped on the couch.

"Yeah we know that. She gag on us all the time." Navya said and got up to bring some food.

"And she's annoying too." Cabir said munching his pizza and nandini raised her brows

"Be nice cabir." Navya shouted from the kitchen.

"I love you navya." Nandini side hugged her as she came out of the kitchen with tacos and burritos and she smiled widely.

Nandini and navya's bond has become so strong in these months that now they are inseparable. They realised that they have so much common in each other.

"I second you cabir she's so annoying." Manik seconded and sipped from the beer can that cabir handed him.

"Yeah as if you are the most kindest person on this earth. You have those days when you irritate the shit out of me. You are bipolar and I told you that. One time you are talking nicely with me and the next moment you are ignoring even though I didn't do anything." Nandini huffed and sat on the couch and cavya smiled seeing them bickering.

Manik smiled at her and she was sitting with her arms folded clearly not impressed with manik's false accusations according to her.

He sipped from his can and walked to her. He sat besides her sitting with a thump indicating his presence. He held her chin with his forefinger and thumb and made her look towards him.

"Fine miss dramebaaz you are not annoying, I'm bipolar okay?" He said to makeup to her even though he was enjoying all these bickering because after all these months they are together.

"Yeah whatever." She replied suppressing her smile.

"Okay lovebirds have your pizza and go to sleep we are done with today's drama." Cabir said yawning.

"We are not lovebirds." Manik and nandini exclaimed in unison.

"Yeah like we are blind." Cabir dismissed and went to his room.

Manik and nandini looked at each other and shook their head hearing cabir.

"Err! Manik we have just two rooms so is it okay with you to share the room with nandini or you will sleep with cabir?" Navya asked and manan glanced at each other.

"Nah! I will be with nandini you can enjoy with cabir." Manik winked at navya.

"And then you say you are not lovebirds." Cabir shouted from the room making manan roll their eyes.

"Shut up or else I will break your bones." Nandini shouted and heard him mutter some curses.

  Navya wished them night and left from there.

"Ab kya jagran karna hai yaha chalo room mein." Manik started walking to the room and she just looked at him dumbfound.

She ran after him and closed the door. She saw him picking up his clothes to change.

"Why did you say that you will share the room with me? You can be with cabir right?" She said not looking at him.

Manik noticed her expressions but didn't say anything. They have shared the room earlier too but she never said that before.

He took slow steps towards her and she was still not looking at him. He inched his mouth closer to her ear.

"Why, are you sacred of me?" He whispered and she had goosebumps because of the intensity of his voice.

She never felt that way but now she's feeling something different.

"Wh--- why will I be scared? Go and change I'm sleepy." She muttered quickly and pushed him a little. She lied down covering herself with a duvet.

Manik smirked and quickly changed. He came out and saw her still awake. He lied down besides her. He was facing her back.

"Nandini?"

"Hm" She replied sleepily.

"Just control yourself okay. I know I'm hot but just don't take advantage of me." He said naughtily and waited for her reaction. She turned around facing him and they were inches apart.

"Shut up manik and I'm immune to your so called hotness so just sleep and let me sleep." She whispered looking into his eyes and he smirked.

"Yeah whatever you say." He said and she rolled her eyes.

"Goodnight sugarplum." He snaked his arms on her waist and pulled her towards him without giving her a moment to think.

"We can see who can't control themselves." She muttered on his chest.

"Shush! Sleep now." He said and kissed her head making her smile.
They were at their happy place now.
