Halfway through Ben's house and I couldn't calm down.
Idle chatter had begun between Jane, Ben, and some of Ben's friends after we finished talking about Jesi.

She was pulled out of boarding school as soon as lockdown news begin to spread.

So she has to finish school online.

"So how do you know Jesi?" I asked Ben's friend Jaden.

"She is the girl next door," he answered.

I rolled my eyes, slightly looking annoyed. I don't know what I was expecting but not that he is next door to Jesi. Ever Since she pulled the shit on me I hated her for it.

"I didn't know that, but it's helpful," I said sarcastically.

Hearing Ben laugh got me wondering if I've said something amusing or the fact that I was being dramatic about it.

Thankful when we get to Ben's house. I and Jane entered Ben's room to get ready for the party and I need more details about the party to ease my nerves.

"Why did he choose his house to host a party," I asked Jane as I pulled my jeans down.

"He didn't tell me why but it's technically a frat party " her mouth is wide open as she layers more mascara onto her lashes. " Jesi is going out with her mom so hopefully she wouldn't be bitching around this night"

Am grateful we hated the same person but that's what besties do right?

Even the thought of being stuck at this party with her seems unbearable. She picks at me at every chance she got and that doesn't go well with her and Jane.

Yeah... She's that overprotective of me.

"Did you hear me?" Jane asked.

"Sorry... what?"I hadn't realized my mind has wandered.

"We didn't get to pick dresses together, did you like this one," she says. The dress she picked is so inappropriate but lovely.

I cringed and she laughs, obviously finding the disgusting face I made humorous.

Her fishnet dress with her bra showed through. The dress barely reaches the top of her thighs and the heels of her shoes are at least four inches. Her flaming brown hair is pulled into a tight bun.

"You look so hard" I whispered to her. It occurs to me that she probably finds me as weird as I found her.

"You're not wearing that are you?" She gapes at my dress.

My hands slide over the fabric. Right from home, I knew she will be disappointed once she sees me in this dress but this is what I want to wear and be on my best behavior this night.

"What is wrong with my dress" I defend my dress.

I try to hide my smile knowing how offended she looks.

The maroon dress is made of suit material and it's very soft and sturdy. Exactly how I want to feel this night.

"Nothing...It's just so... Out of it. Long?"

"It is barely below my knee" I tried again.

"I hate you!" She said walking to Ben's standing mirror.

I laughed. "I love you too," I tell her. Walking to hug her.
