Jane steps in through the door and looks at me and Ben.

"Jane Thompson. What's wrong?" my mom calls out from her room. I put my two hands together silently begging her not to say anything to my mom

"Nothing Mrs styles. I'm good" Jane calls back to her. I put one of my hands on my chest for relief.

Jane's mouth forms "o" as she takes in the scenes in front of her. I know my checks are bright red not only from the embarrassment but from the way Ben made me feel.

"What the actual fuck is going on here?" She asks. Staring at us with a huge grin.

"Nothing," Ben says and stands up. He walks out of the room without looking back, leaving me shirtless and panting.

"What the hell was that girl? Like you and Ben are like messing around?" She asks me. The disappointment was clear in her voice.

"No...Jesus...We aren't messing around!" I tell her. Are we? Fucking no, we just happen to kiss, twice. And he took my shirt off and I was about to undo his zipper when you decided to ruin it. But no, we aren't messing around. I want to tell Jane but I just sit on my bed watching how disappointed she looks.

"I just can't believe this. When did this even...... how did this happen?" She asks. She sits on my bed and runs her fingers on her hair.

"I don't know. Well, Saturday when I left the party I ended up in his room because Jesi said I am prissy and I walked in on them fucking and she called me a bitch. Long story short, I ended up in his room and we kissed. We promised never to talk about it again but then he came by today and one thing led to another and we ended up like that." I explain. It sounds so bad as I repeat it. I am acting "slutty" just like what Jesi would say. I put my hands over my face, how could I do this to her? Again.

"That sounds hot," Jane says. out of everything? I roll my eyes.

*It's not, it's horrible and wrong." What I did is just as terrible as Jesi.

"You two will look good together and also you will learn a lot from Ben....... You know sexually." She says and my mouth falls. Is she serious? She should be hitting me or screaming at me for being a terrible friend and here she is praising me?

"No thanks. I don't want to learn anything from him" I tell her. My mind replayed Ben's words "you're the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, jeiel ." I feel my cheek heat as I think about it.

"Do you know he's still hitting on Jesi? " I ask her. I have to know.

"Yeah... He told me he fuck her any time he's honey just to jack off........ They're sort of ex-with-benefit. I promised him I will never tell you though " she says like it's no big deal. I can't help the jealousy that stirs Inside me.

"Oh....... Benefits?. That's gross." I said. My mouth is dry and I find myself suddenly annoyed by Jesi.

" Yeah...... Just like a few heavy make-out seasons and gropes Nothing serious. Really." She says and my chest hurts. I can't say I'm surprised because of what I saw yesterday but I wish I wouldn't have asked.

"Do you think maybe we can be something more than just best friends one day?" I can't help but ask. Why can't I stop asking these questions?

"I don't know really....... And I don't think I can answer this question now but I also think this will be dangerous for you. Unless you know you can handle it " her voice is full of concern.

"I don't know what I am thinking but hey...... I will be fine. Just full random kisses right?'" I laugh and hope it sounds genuine because it isn't.

"Oh..... Don't fucking pull that one with me" she says and stand up from my bed. Of course, she knows I'm a terrible liar.

"Are you coming to the party tonight?" She asks and I shake my head "you should, it's going to be fun" she says and smiles.

"I promise I won't let that slutty bitch say a word to you again " she tells me making a face.

I know she means it but the party is out of my mind for now. Not because of Jesi but I need to stay far away from Ben.

"No thank you. I promised my brother a movie night" I tell her.

"Too bad. I know zed wants to see you" she said and I laugh, really laughed.

"What? He was just asking if I'm bringing you to the party"

"I doubt that but even if he was, I am not interested in any party," I tell her causing her smile to grow even bigger.
