Synopsis: Light, a bright student who stumbles across a mystical notebook that has the power to kill anyone whose name he writes in it. Light decides to launch a secret crusade to rid the streets of criminals. Soon, the student-turned-vigilante finds himself persued by a famous FBI criminal profiler known only by the alias L.

Personal opinion: This was probably the first psychological anime I've ever watched. Initially it was messing with my mind but once I got the hang of how stuff worked, it was pretty enjoyable. I recommend this to a slightly older audience if you can't handle profanity. But apart from that, anybody can enjoy it really!
