A Whistler slowly emerged from the bushes staring us down like prey. It was bigger than the other Whistlers we had seen and it's mouth seemed bigger, as of it could swallow us both whole at the same time.

"Err...Alec?..."

He just nudged me.

"Run."

We scarpered into the trees, but it was already thinking quicker than us. It grabbed me then grabbed Alec before flying high in the air.

"Oh boy that's high!.."

The trees grew further and further away as the mighty beast took us to the clouds.

"Nest. See I told you."

I looked and dragons were coming out of the hollow tree like ants in a mud heap. It was a tree full of reptiles. The dragon took us over a two day walking period in ten minutes or so, pretty impressive. The tree only seemed to get bigger as we got closer and it flew in through one of the gaps in the dry bark. We flew through many tunnels and dark places before being thrown into a face-plant in the dirt. I looked up and Krystal was in front of us. She was bound to a post and she had a gag in her mouth and was screaming and squealing somewhat weakly.

"Krystal!"

I couldn't work out what she was trying to say. I turned around and a masked person was behind us. Like right on our heels kind of behind us. We jumped round so we were stood by Krystal and gasped.

"Who are you?"

It said nothing and looked inquisitively at us. Then it turned its attention to Alec and knelt down. It lifted his hand and sort of turned him round.

"Hey, get off! What are you doing! I came to save Krystal now can we have her and we'll leave you in peace?"

The person backed away and pointed a spear at Alec. She pointed to a long scar along Alec's arm.

"How did you get that?..."

Alec looked puzzled, but answered anyway.

"My sister caught me when she was messing around with my father's axe...now can we get back to subject please?"

The person fell to it's knees gasping and breathless. Slowly, it removed its mask. A beautiful young woman with a long brunette braid, a similar colour to Alec's hair, that ran over her shoulder and down her back was behind the robbing of Krystal. She also had the same blue oleander eyes Alec had, it was strange.

"Alec...?"

I looked to Alec then back to her waiting for Alec to answer, but nothing came out,

he just...stared.
