"Cmon Angel we're gonna be late!" I groaned and hid underneath the warm comforter, not wanting to get up nor go to school.
"Never!" I yelled, tightening my grip on the comforter as I heard soft but rushed footsteps come toward my bed. It was a typical Monday morning, this became a daily occurrence after I moved here with my cousin. They treated me kindly, but there's always gonna be that tense feeling between us all due to my fathers constant actions against me ever since I was kicked out. I'm a disappointment to my family, more likely to the world if possible.
"Please Angela?" I heard Athena's soft whisper near my head. I cringed at her use of my full name, nobody calls me that except her. I'm still not used to it though... Not since that... Incident happened anyways. But as usual, I had to give in otherwise she would more than likely try suffocating me with the pillow.
I laughed softly to myself and peeked out of the blanket, coming face to face with bright green eyes that belonged to Athena only. "Fine..Only because I don't want to die today." I spoke quietly, a small smile coming to me as I saw her expression change into a annoyed but amused look.
"Well you never know, with the way shit is going. I could easily grab the chance to throw your ass in the street!" She whispered to me playfully before proudly walking out into the hallway, leaving me with my jaw dropped.
"You wouldn't dare, you love me to much!" I yelled after her as I jumped out of bed, leaning my head to the side slightly and waiting for her reply.
"That's what you think." She teased and poked her head through the door. I laughed and slammed the door, making sure that she would have moved her head before getting hit with it.
"This is gonna be an interesting day..." I whispered to myself, grinning as I walked to my closet and got ready for the day that lies ahead of me.

"What's up Angel!" I perked up instantly and looked over my shoulder to see Jonas walking towards me with the biggest smile on his face. I smiled back and waved to him, slowing down my steps a bit so that he could catch up.
"How's the family going? Do I have to kick anyone's ass today?" I smiled and elbowed him in the ribs playfully,
"You should know that I don't have any problems with him Jonas, never do, never will. Unless you really want me t-"
"Hey I was joking," He cut me off with a serious expression "You know that the fact that your new family is treating you well makes me happy for you, I'm only making sure things keep going smoothly. Understand?"I went quiet for a moment, looking up at him. His soft brown eyes glowing with sympathy and honesty.
"Oui je comprends." I said quietly, noticing that Mrs.Crow was standing near her door. Waiting impatiently for us to get Into the classroom before the bell rang.
"We should probably get going," Jonas whispered to me, nudging me with his arm.
I nodded in response and kept quiet. As I walked to the classroom door, I noticed something from the corner of my eye. I swear to god it was Zach and it frightened me when I turned around to see a empty hallway with only Jonas and a few girls now standing in the distance as they now made they're way to class.
"Jonas?" I called out when i reached a stop a few feet away from the door. He turned slightly and looked straight at me, his eyebrows raised in a questioning manner.
"Meet me in the gym during lunch," I spoke before he responded, "I need to ask you something." He nodded and turned his attention back to his friend before walking into his first hour class. I sighed and looked into the classroom, catching a sight of my reflection from the window panel on the door. I cringed at the sight of my blonde hair ruffled up from this mornings mess, attempting to fix it, I ran my hand through it a few times but only made it worse. Out of all the days, this one? Seriously? Biting my lip in frustration, I glared at my reflection in annoyance.
"Angela come on, we don't have time for your nonsense already. Some of these kids actually want to learn something today." I just narrowed my eyes and sent a glare towards Evan, the boy that decided to be a little snot already. rolling my eyes and taking my seat, i ignored the constant glares from Evan after throwing a few pencils at his head later on.
