"Hey Boris can I talk to you for a second? In private, please?"

Mickey asks the wolf gently. Bendy glances at the mouse, getting an unsettling feeling at the pit of his stomach. Since when did this mouse get so close with my brother?

Boris wags his tail. M-m-Mickey?! Wants to talk with me?! O-oh God! This has to be a dream!!

The dumbstruck wolf followed the mouse to a separate room. The mouse sits on the edge of the bed and gestures for Boris to do the same. Boris can't stop his tail from wagging as he sits by Mickey's side. His ear twitches in excitement.

"So..." Mickey starts.

"Do you have any other family or close friends other than your brother?"

Boris' ears flatten and Mickey takes note of it.

"N-no... Bendy is all I have left."

The saddened pup smiles. Mickey frowns as he takes in the wolf's features. His tail isn't wagging anymore, his eyes are dull and his ears lay flat on his head. Boris picks up his head and tries to look happy.

"B-but it's fine! Bendy promised we'd be together and he never breaks his promises!"

The wolf assures the concerned mouse. You know that's not true, don't you? Mickey thinks to himself as Boris sways from side to side.

"Okay... Next question... Do you have a job?"

"Of course! I'm a mechanic. My brother's way better than me though. I'm kinda like his trainee!"

The mouse brightens as an idea pops into his mind.

"A MECHANIC?! THAT'S AMAZING! We need someone to help out with the machinery and with you around, we can save lots of time for the entertainment!"

"WHA--?!"

"You don't have to worry about payment, we'll compromise!"

Boris is shellshocked. He had no idea that he was going to be offered this sort of opportunity. His tail wags in excitement.

"Boris!"

Bendy's voice calls from the other room. The wolf freezes. That's right... I can't... Bendy needs me. We need to find those screws and offerings! Boris stands and turns to Mickey with a guilty yet determined expression. He bows his head, ears flat.

"I-I'm sorry... but I'm gonna have to say no."

He doesn't give time for the mouse to reply before he busts out the door, straight to Bendy's room. The said demon snaps his head at the sudden intrusion, eyes wide. Boris's face is flushed, his ear twitches in two second intervals and his tail sways softly behind him. Bendy squints at his flustered wolfy.

"What's up?"

"N-n-...nothing."

Boris avoids brother's suspicious gaze.

Mickey stands alone in the room. He keeps his head down as various thoughts and questions race through his mind. Where is he gonna go? What will he do? His brother won't last long. What if he ends up stranded once his brother passes?! The mouse punches the wall in frustration. He drags his feet a bit as he leaves the room.

Bendy and Boris are laughing and talking on their way out, their backs to him. Boris looks back and makes eye contact. He smiles.

"Thank you for everything, Mr. Mickey! I really appreciate it!"

He calls out, waving to the said mouse. Bendy looks over his should and gives a weak smile, nodding his thanks. Mickey forces a smile, waving back slightly.

"Y-yea...sure. See ya." He forces.

Oh Boris. I hope you'll be okay...

......

"Okay, next stop... Ms. Sheba."

Bendy says looking at his 'repair orders' list. Boris gives him a questioning look.

"What about the bookstore?"

"Did we not just get attacked by two cupheaded baboons?! Do we really want to go down there, again?!"

"B-but they're probably gone now-"

"Key word: probably. Not taking that chance..."

Bendy ends the discussion. The two mechanics head to Ms. Sheba's shop. Once they arrive, they see smoke coming from the store's basement.

"Oh! It's about time y'all got here! I had to close the place up. I called for y'all yesterday! "

"Sorry, ma'am. Some things came up."

A sexy kitten walks over from one of the empty isles. Bendy nearly drools as he looks her up and down. Hot damn! Look at dat a$$! The demon's inner nasty whistles. Boris stares at his perverted brother with a knowing look. He nudges the dirty demon.

"Come back."

He murmurs. Bendy jolts and shouts.

"I'm here! It's all good!"

"Great then get to work. I don't get paid for a closed shop."

The sexy cat says as she leads them to the broken generator in the basement. Boris steps back as a spark flew from the smoke. Bendy slips his goggles on and tightens his gloves before walking towards the potential death trap.

"Let's get this done."

"Thank ya so much! I don't even recognize it!"

Sheba praises as she looks over the newly repaired machine.

"No problem. It's not only fixed, it's efficiency is also improved."

"Amazing! Y'all really know yer stuff! I'll give y'all a tip."

The cat says handing the brothers extra compensation. Boris brightens and thanks the woman for her generosity.

"Now we can find a place to spend the night, right?!"

"Yep."

"Oh, wait!"

The brothers look back at the woman. She rushes forward with a piece of paper. The paper consists of a name of a hotel and the directions to get there.

"It's not the cheapest, but it's comfy and highly recommended."

"Thanks a bunch, Miss."

"Please, call me Sheba."

Bendy turns thirty shades of red, smiling like an idiot. Boris thanks her once more and drags his brother out of the shop following the directions to the recommended hotel.

Timeskip to evening

Boris dives onto the single twin-sized bed as his brother trudges to the bathroom. A two person bedroom would've costed extra and a single left enough money for them to stay a few nights. The wolf rolls around on the bed getting comfortable until he hears Bendy turn on the bath water.

He shoots up and races to the bathroom, nearly knocking his brother down.

"Me too!"

Boris shouts, stripping down and jumping into the tub. Bendy laughs and pulls his clothes off to join his hyper wolf.

(Dialogue only for the bath scene)

"Boris, hold still!"

"I can't help it! HEY, I can do that myself!"

"Since when? You always leave the bathroom with your tail untouched."

"Not true! Stop it!"

"It is true! I can tell because all of your fur would be ruffled except the fur your tail!"

"Fine the I'll clean this!"

"Hey! HEY! HEY! Watch it!"

"Bendy, hold still!"

"Don't mock me! Let go of my horn!"

Boris skips out of the bathroom while Bendy is nearly crawling. I did all the heavy-lifting today. I need a vacation... Taking care of Boris, going on this quest to safe my life and doing side jobs to earn money for supplies for said quest and basic needs... Way more difficult than I thought...

The demon glances at his happy little brother and couldn't help, but smile. But I guess it's all worth it to see my brother happy. He even got to meet his idol. The demon thinks to himself. Boris turns to his older brother with a wide grin.

"It's about time!"

He says taking out his wrench. He motions for the demon to come, patting a spot on the bed. Ah right!Can't call it a night without our pledge. Bendy takes his goggles off the bedside table and crawls on the bed facing his brother. They piled their items and put their heads together.

"Ready when you are."

Boris: "Wherever you are..."

Bendy: "Wherever you go..."

Boris: "I will be there...

Bendy: "Right beside you."

Boris: "In sickness-"

Bendy: "And in health..."

Boris: "With these items..."

Bendy: "I pledge to stay with you..."

Boris&Bendy: "forever and always."

They separate their heads and open their eyes. Boris begins to cry, leaning into Bendy's chest.

"Why are you crying?"

The demon asks cradling his baby brother's head.

"I...I-I was s-so s-scared when y-you didn't w-wake up! W-we missed the p-pledge and y-you weren't m-moving and...-"

Bendy rocks his brother and pets him behind his ears soothingly. It wasn't the first time that Boris got like this when something new happened to his brother. Bendy began to feel guilty and worried for his brother and what would happen if he were to die.

"Don't worry. I'm not going anywhere without you, Boris. We pledged, remember?"

Later that night...

Boris wipes the remaining ink from his brother's body. His brother sleeps soundly after having to deal with another painful episode. The wolf tucks the both of them in and falls asleep with Bendy in his arms.
