damn
I managed to get through the building to the cafeteria without incident. it was in the cafeteria hell started.
"you stupid emo bitch!" a prep screamed kicking my shin with her shorter gelled feet. My skinny jeans didn't do much to stop damage. I grit my teeth, fighting the urge to punch them all down through earths crust all the way to the ninth level of hell. Oh shit, Where did that come from? I shook my head and backed away from the group in front of me. several had their trays in hand, others had silverware. All because the preppy bitch had stepped on my foot causing herself to fall. I braced myself with my arms as I was pelted with the foul smelling "lunch" the school had served today. The others waited with silverware until they ran out of food.
let's just say it was so bad they had to send me "home".
I cringed with my hand over a hole now residing on my upper arm. They didn't go easy like they normally did on those stabbings. They didn't actually throw the silverware. I was a temporary porcupine to make it simple. Saddest part if all of it is the fact I have to walk back to my house. When I spotted the game exchange I just had to enter, I've always loved video games. because of my... "circumstances" I haven't had a game console or anything to be able to play. I entered the store holding tightly onto my arm so as not to drip blood on the floor. My white t-shirt long ago stained crimson with my own blood. The cashier seemed horrified to see me. I walked towards the counter and didn't flinch as he poked me in the arm.
"are you alright girlie?" I shrugged, I didn't bother to voice my answer. He watched me for a moment longer before dissapearing behind the door behind him, appearing a moment later with a first aid kit. He gestured me forward. Not wanting to be rude I obliged. "How did you manage to get this messed up, little one?" I allowed my head to fall slightly.
"School." It was all I would allow myself to say. His eyes grew dark.
"They still have that school up? They were sued ages ago." My ears perked up. By look on his face I knew he saw. "Yeah, they were sued by a parent because their kid was stabbed to death last year. Seems they'll have another case on their asses." I nodded my head slightly, not enough to bother his work of wrapping my wounds. He shook his head.
"Alright, your done!" His smile was contagious, I smiled back weakly at him.
"Do you have any cheap old game consoles and games? I need something to pass the time." it was a relatively short and sweet question and explanation, no room for other questions. He nodded taking me back to the counter.
"Will a Nintendo 64 work? I have a few games. I'll give it to you for free. The last owner said it was haunted. I can't sell a haunted console, but I'll give it to you." I nodded slightly.
"thank you."
