Chapter 9. Hero Vs Killer

BEN: "{Previously on Ultimate Ga Kill.... }"

"That's the time gate! Ben, what are you doing?!" Max called out in great alarm.

"~<Sending his sorry butt back!>~" U-Humongasaur called back as he pushed the struggling body of Kevin 11K with him to the Timegate that was just past Vilgax's unmoving body. Ben had a plan alright, and his girlfriends weren't going to like it.

Making a grab at the old Omnitrix still latched onto Vilgax's wrist and ripped it off in a hurry while keeping the struggling Kevin 11K at bay, everyone who's witnessing this happening was certain what Ben's plan was and it alarmed them.

"~Get offa me!~" Kevin 11K roared and clawed at him, though U-Humongasaur was taking damage he still needed to do this.

Time seemed to slow down as Ben was getting closer to the Time gate, it was still active since Albedo powered it from before, you can't really turn that thing off.

Ignoring the pleading voices of friends, family, and lovers, U-humongasaur shouted the code in quick succession; "~<Command code zero zero zero destruct zero.>~"

"Ben!" Gwen called out desperately to him one last time before U-Humongasaur took Kevin 11K with him into the spatial depths of the time gate vortex.

'I'll come back, Gwen, everybody. I promise.' Ben thought as they both were fully immersed into the depths of the Time vortex when the Self-destruct of the old Omnitrix came full circle.

A thunderous boom filled the room as the Omnitrix fully self-destructed from within the depths of the Time gate, the charge wasn't built so it should only destroy itself and hopefully just Kevin 11K, but the impact wave was vast enough to shatter the Time gate itself from their side. The impact shook everyone enough to cause them to stumble, this shock caused the fall of the ship to get faster.

"Guys this isn't good!" Kevin called.

"We have to get out of here!" Max said and Verdona nodded at Charmcaster and Gwendolyn.

"Don't worry we're on it." Verdona soon forms a dome around them all as they all evacuate the ship in a flash of pink light.

Just in time for the ship to blow up midair while the rest reappeared into some kind of Beach.

Ben slowly opened his eyes that fateful morning; he groaned and stretched his limbs. His eyes were a blur for a little bit until they began to clear. He rubbed his eyes as he usually would whenever he got up from bed. His mind began to clear the moment he discovered that...

"I'm in the forest?" Ben analyzed. "Why am I in the forest?"

Ben got up slowly, discovering also that he had a little bit of a bruise. "Ugh, what the hell happened to me?"

Ben got up, confused as all hell on where he was. "I don't know where I am, how I got here, and why." Ben added. "This could be that I might have passed out since my fight with Kevin 11K." Ben said. "I gotta call everyone and have them locate my whereabouts. They must be worried sick."

Ben activated his Ultimatrix and turned on the telecommunications function, "Hello Gwen? Any one, Kevin? It's me Ben. Can you hear me?"

Static.

"Hello? Girls, Kevin, Grandpa Max?"

Again static.

"Great." Ben sighed, "No signal. That's weird." He played with the communications function to try to get in contact with them - and then eventually everyone else.

He walked around the area trying to find some sort of contact...some sort of signal but for some reason he couldn't find any. No signal. Nothing, "Where am I?" Ben wondered.

"Hey, that's the girl from the wanted posters," he overheard from nearby.

"Wait what?" Ben said. Suddenly, his beacon of hope began to rise once again. If he is hearing voices then that means there are people, and when there is people there is civilization.

"Alright!" Ben said. "Time to contact my friends! And finally see where I am!" Ben said. He ran through the forests trying to reach them as fast as he could, he was careful to not transform because he does not want anyone to freak out. This was the rural areas after all and anything can happen in the rural areas. He finally finds himself at a creek. "Alright! Wait what?!"

Ben saw nothing but a small river streaming to the east making him frustrated. "Oh come on! Really? Okay, maybe I'm just going crazy. You have been in this forest for the past few hours and all of a sudden you are going crazy. I might as well keep looking!" He concluded until he heard the conversation again.

"That means that Night Raid must be around here somewhere." He turned around to see a group of bandits as they seemed to be surrounding a young woman with a sword. Ben was troubled about this. Knowing full and well how this was going to go. There were three guys. The first man was big and buff wearing a white head cloak as well as the other guy right besides him except that he wasn't all that big. The third man to the front stood silent smiling sadistically at the girl in front of them. He had no head scarf but he sure had black spiky hair.

"So I'm not going crazy after all." Ben said, his voice getting serious.

"She's a pretty little thing huh?" The first guy said.

"Let's not bang her up too bad huh? I want to have fun with her first." Snorted the second guy. Ben froze before he could cross the creek as he quickly noticed the girl's eyes. And without warning she dashed through them like they were nothing. A rainbow of blood draped over them, splashing into the ground like paint. Ben seeing this was mortified. He immediately, with instinct, ran across the creek to help the man out, and arrest him for his potential crimes. However by the time he made his way to the opposite side of the creek, it was too late.

"Be careful you enter enemy territory, you know?" The girl said in a monotone.

"Oh...oh shit!" Cussed the big guy before two of the men collapsed after their blood sprayed out of their necks leaving one man alive, holding the blood back from spraying it out.

"Y-you bitch, I'm gonna make you pay for that...gah!" The man stopped as Ben noticed Japanese letters rolling around his body from the heart.

"Ah, ah...it's poison!" The man finally succumbed to his injuries and died.

"It only takes one strike." The girl concluded.

"Hey!" Ben screamed. The girl turned around, her sword ready in hand. "What gave you the right to kill these people?"

"They intruded and formed what I can suspect you must be one of them." She said.

"One of them?" Ben asked.

"No matter." The girl shrugged. "You are our target after all."

Ben noticed the fight between her and the band of thugs she fought against. She was mighty fast with the sword. What can Ben do against her? Does she know about him at any chance? Or was it something else?

He does not know but he had to act fast so he can stay alive in this screwed up situation he placed himself under.

Part of him said that he could have stayed put and transformed right then and there rather than wait for the last minute. Ben could have listened to that but he had to jump right in. He was frozen right in place. Scared on what to do. He tried talking to her. But talking for some reason just does not work here.

He had to fight to stay alive.

Without warning, the girl dashed her way towards him. Ben quickly dodged her downward slash. Ben thought it was over until the girl ran over to him again trying to cut him down. Ben ran after the girl kicked him in the chest. The girl held her sword with hands trying to end him. Ben got up.

"You're done." She said,

"I was trying to be civil about this, but you just ruined it." He said smashing the faceplate of his new Ultimatrix.

Update upon a cliff, a young teenage girl with pink hair and matching attire aimed her Pumpkin-gun at the man running, focusing on the trajectory.

"Well he made it this far." She stated. Mine stood up. "Bummer, I really don't like revealing my location!" She activated her Pumpkin gun. Without warning, another tribal assassin snuck from behind in midair with his sword readying to decapitate her.

"You're mine!" Yelled the man until he was killed by a purple-dressed young woman with glasses wielding a pair of giant scissors with a panda bear face on the front.

"I'm sorry." Sheele said softly.

Mine turned around a bit. "Thank you, Sheele." She turned back to her target, "Nice timing! That was just enough danger to power up." She said with smug as her weapon powered up. She opened fire and released a deadly ray of energy heading straight towards the soon-to-be-messenger vaporizing him.

From the distance, a trail of smoke was seen rising up from the forest.

"Sweet bull's eye!" Mine said with a smile along with Sheele. "The bigger the trouble I'm in, the more powerful my beautiful Pumpkin becomes!"

"First the girl with the sword and now this broad! Why am I getting my ass kicked today?!" Ben got up weakly.

"Hey, you lucky you're gonna die cute." The woman said, picking him up by the neck, choking Ben. "Not too many guys die cute you know?"

"How lucky am I?" Ben tried to say. "Lucky to do this!" Ben slapped the Ultimatrix down, blinding the woman in emerald green light and when the light disappear.

Ben was a small, white alien whose body is a living amplifier. He had a square appendage resembling an MP3 player behind his back with a port on it - decorated with a 10 symbol and what looks like cassette tapes on his lower legs. He had circle-shaped indents on the back of his hands which are green. The inside of his mouth is green with lines that give it the appearance of an amplifier and he had the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.

"~ECHO-ECHO!~" Echo-Echo shouted before pressing the Ultimatrix again.

"~ULTIMATE ECHO-ECHO!~" Ultimate Echo Echo shouted.

The woman stood speechless trying to search for the words to come out of her mouth. She still had her smile and crossed her arms completely unfazed. "Heh, an Imperial Arms user? This should be fun! So you call that thing Ultimate Echo-Echo huh? Well, just so we're clear, I'm Leone and I shall be your executioner for today. You really think that thing of yours is gonna scare me?"

"No." Ultimate Echo-Echo said. "But your defeat will give me music to my ears."

"You mean yours?" Leone said dashing her way towards Ultimate Echo-Echo, which entailed a big mistake. "SAY YOUR PRAYERS KID!"

"~Gladly.~" Ultimate Echo-Echo pushed back and fired an ultrasonic blast at her forcing her to try to block it out but then was forcibly blown away, skidding through the forests like a pebble through a lake.

"Wait, I thought you were supposed to be training me!" The boy exclaimed.

"Training you? You can never be on my level." The pink-girl laughed. "Besides, the Boss said that if the boy poses a threat, we have to kill him."

"Simple as that, right?" The boy asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Simple as that!" The pink haired girl ecstatically exclaimed.

Ben's eyes winced. 'They're hunting me down?' Ben thought. His hands inching closer to his Ultimatrix. He had to be careful.

It was so stupid for Ben to just walk in there and start fights. It was really stupid because now, some assassins were hunting him down to be in either a "join or die" situation. Ben wanted no part of this whatsoever.

He needed to bail quickly, but he was surrounded by civilians.

And if that girl he fought in the forest was in that group, the best choice he had was to avoid them at all cost. Sure it took Ultimate Echo Echo to restrain her, giving him time to flee, but they weren't going to stop. These people are willing to kill. Ben was not about that life. Not at the least.

"I need to be careful around these people." Ben said. "One wrong move and then I'm dead."

Ben walked in the opposite direction to where the group was going.

Leone struck her hardened fist through a man's face with all of her power; blood sprayed from his head to the woman's claws. "Oooh that felt so incredible!" She said.

Sheele draped her large scissors over her back with a smile. "That was a pleasant challenge wasn't it?"

Then something struck Akame, something was not quite right for two valid reasons, "Something's not right. Boss said that we were supposed to kill five and search for that boy that attacked us earlier." She said.

"Aw man and I didn't get to kill anyone left." Lubock complained, "Well at least it's just one left."

Leone smiled. "Too bad Lubbock I'm docking your pay!"

"What?!" Lubock screamed. "You can't do that?!"

"Wanna bet?" Leone asked, now turning to Akame. Even though her Imperial Arms gave her enhanced abilities, her hearing was not ignored. "That boy better show up." She said, catching everyone off guard." He and I need a rematch."

"Can you just let that go?" Lubock asked before he was smacked in the back of the head.

"Don't tell me to let go of you piece of crap! In case you forgot I was unfairly blasted through the forest LIKE A PEBBLE ON A LAKE! Not to mention that he ran like a bitch boy, he is! No, I want to face him!"

"You will." Akame said. "He won't hide forever." She then thought of where the fifth bodyguard could be. Her thoughts were if he wasn't with them then that means...

"Tatsumi." She said with worry from her voice.

"Yeah right. For all you know you could be working for the Empire. Whoever you are. Whatever you are, you are not gonna get away for what you did to my friends!" The boy screamed charging his way towards Ben.

Ben sighed. "Since you need to cool off, I vote Big Chill!" Ben activated the Ultimatrix and smashed the dial down only for the boy charging towards him and others surrounding him to be blinded by an emerald green light. When the light died down, standing there towering over him was a silicon based creature made of extremely durable crystal. Its body was overall purple, with several dark lines and spots. Its hands and face were magenta, and it also sports six magenta shards on its back, two on its chest, and one on the top of its head that resembled a horn. Its face consisted of a mouth and one large green eye at the center.

"~<CHROMASTONE!>~" Chromastone shouted. The boy backed up a little bit. Behind them, the man who attacked the boy fled away since the girl in pink was distracted. "~<Now, if you please listen to me, no one won't get hurt.>~"

"I think it's too late for talking, stone guy!" The girl shouted, charging up her weapon. Chromastone took a deep breath, folded his arms, and waited.

"~<You know I have dealt with this sort of thing before right?>~"

"Yeah? Entertain me!" The girl shouted as she released a large blast from her weapon. Just as she thought that the blast alone would be enough to kill Chromastone, all it did was power him up. The girl and the boy stood as Chromastone stood still absorbing the energy fired from her gun. She kept firing until she had no more ammo.

Without a word, Chromastone formed an energy ball with his hands and began to fire up a large energy blast, missing the girl by a tad inch. The girl looked back at the devastation Chromastone left behind.

"Oh my god, that was amazing!" The girl stood shaken by its power.

"~<Now, can we...oh you gotta be kidding me.>~" Chromastone sighed looking at the boy as he gazed at his blade, broken into pieces. "~<Seriously, you really were about to stab me in the back? Dick moves man. Dick move.>~"

"Impossible! How is your skin so tough?!" The boy asked.

"~<Indestructible silicon...guy who's name I don't know!>~" Chromastone said as he was getting frustrated in all of this misunderstanding. "~<But if you guys take the time out and listen to me, then you will know.>~"

"Alright, talk!" The girl threatened. "And before you ask, my weapon strengthens more and more when I am in a tight spot! You might have gotten lucky that first round, but the second...you'll be nothing but pieces!"

Rath was thrown to the ground at the mercy of Leone. "Ready to give up yet, feline?"

"~<LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING CATWOMAN, RATH DOES NOT GIVE UP!>~" Rath threw Leone off of him. Stood in her feet and got into her kata.

"Let's say we finish this!" Leone screamed.

"~<ARE YOU GONNA CONTINUE TO BARK OR ARE YOU GONNA MEOW? KITTY CAT!>~" Rath teased.

Leone was beyond angry. Not saying a word she and Rath dashed towards each other for the epic final battle.

"Ben, the moment you sent Kevin 11K on the Time gate and blow up the Omnitrix it sent a chrono desrupture through the time stream and it affects different realities setting them into different paths. You can call it the Multiversal War." Now this horrified Ben.

"The Multiverse, is real?" Breath out Ben.

"Well of course, but the correct term was actually Omniverse, while there infinite Universes, there are also infinity Timeline hence calling it the Omniverse and each universes are set in respective Prime Timelines and whoever was focus on said universes was the catalyst of their universes for every path and chooses it rifts a shift into the time stream creating a new timeline quite frankly this is Normal for your Universe." Paradox Explained.

"Normal how?" Ben asked.

"Well, it all started around the future where it is focus on the world's Destruction regarding two Androids who destroy everything for fun causing chaos and deaths and in the result of one person trying to travel into the past without knowing the consequences of it and when he made a primary change on one timelinez his future was separated to another timeline creating the past which he change a new timeline and now that's lead us to this one. Not only did you cause a rift between space and time through the Time Gate but you also brought the catalyst of this universe's new timelines' greatest threat." This revelation horrifies Ben more.

"Wait, what how?!" Ben gape in horror.

"You might not know this but the SDM was in low discharge and sure the explosion was enough to stop Kevin 11k but it is not enough to kill him and Vilgax. But instead they were both pulled into this Timelines two different past. One is 2000 years ago where this world's teigus was created and the other one was the cause of corruption to spread immediately into this timeline's capital 20 years ago." Now this made Ben felt sick as now figured it out.

"So, are you telling me that me being here was to hunt down both Vilgeek and Ugly Future Kev?" Ben asked and Paradox nodded.

"Now don't feel down Benjamin. It was always meant to happen, well on this timeline at least." Paradox pattes his shoulder reassuring him. "Now in order for you to get home and save the universe if you help them. Join Night Raid and defeat the Empire - even if it means stepping into the dark side."

"I don't know." Ben said sure he has killed one before but that was necessary.

"Ben, in this universe, you need to kill your enemies. I know it's hard. But believe me, when the time is right, you know when." Paradox finished. "Toodles!"

"Paradox, wait!" Ben was blinded by the same blue light. When the light died down he was gone leaving Ben with closure but this time scared and confused on what to do. He doesn't kill unless it is absolutely necessary. Ben knew that the Empire was corrupt, but not to this degree! He needed to think this over.

"Kill my enemies?" Ben repeated. "I don't know if..."

Ben was at the alley finishing up his "business". He turned around and saw a shadow behind him.

"Huh?"

Coming out from the shadows was a young woman with a long red pony tail, wearing a red shirt over a white t-shirt, black leggings, skirt, and shoes standing before him.

"Gwen?" Ben said.

Gwen began to playfully run away from Ben. "Hey wait, Gwen come back!"

Meanwhile, Akame, being impatient, checked on to see what was taking Ben so long only for her to discover that Ben was gone. Her suspicions heightened.

Later on, Ben followed Gwen to what looked like a large courtyard. He slowly approached her but then he frowned before he glances around and sees that no one is around and so with that he....

INTRO SEQUENCE

Later on, Ben followed Gwen to what looked like a large courtyard. He slowly approached her but then he frowned before he glances around and sees that no one is around and so with that he unleashed a green tendril in his hand towards the Gwen Imposter which made it disappears and in its place was a very tall man with blonde hair who dodges them in time.

"You know, I met a lot of crazy people but there's one mistake you made bitch." Ben's green eyes glowing green with mana. "I know Gwendolyn from the back of my mind and the person I saw is not here, and she would never run away from me like that." The cackle at that which weirded Ben out.

"Hahahaha, my, my, you got quite the temper and I must say; I'm impressed no one has ever caught me off guard like that." The man mocked. "I believe introductions are in order then." The serial killer said with his psychotic grin. "They call me Zank the Beheader. As you can tell, I'm an expert in the beautiful art of beheading."

"So I've heard." Ben said not amused as he went into his kata. "I'm guessing you're the so-called psychopath that has been decapitating people huh?"

"Indeed I am." Zank said with a 'grateful' tone. "So I'm guessing you're here to stop me? Good. Good. I was expecting to draw attention sooner or later. But then again, I would never have thought I would get the attention of a young man with such a powerful weapon."

"Huh?" Ben questioned, clearly confused.

"HAHAHAHA!" The man laughed loudly. He was feeling excited by the thoughts he had as he stared at the alien hero before him. But if that wasn't enough, he spread out his arms by their sides and continued laughing. "To think! So many heads I could decapitate from just one boy!"

Ben now realized what Zank meant. He didn't like it, but it put him in the defense, as he then got into a fighting stance.

"So you know?" He asked firmly.

Zank nodded frantically with a crazy grin. He could see clearly right in the mind of the alien hero that he was shocked. So it went without saying that it made him pleased, especially as he put his arms down and allowed the blades by his hands to slide out.

"You might be wondering how I know." Zank said in his own casual way. But then he suddenly laughed. It wasn't known why it was that way, nor was it revealed right away. However, when he did stop, it was when he rubbed his hand on his face, revealing his psychotic grin once more. "What am I saying? You are wondering about it. I can hear it just from here."

'Wait...Does that mean?' Ben asked in mind.

"Yes!" The serial killer said happily. "I may not be able to read your mind properly but a certain person who helped me have this?" The Killer gestures to his forehead. "This is Spectator, I was planning to use it now to read your mind but for some reason you have a very strong mental shield that I couldn't penetrate." Ben grinned at this.

"So you're trying to read my mind huh? That's called an invasion of privacy." Ben sneered. 'So there's more to it than meets the eye to the Charm's effect huh nice?' He thought. 'And someone frankly who knows me gave this psychopath a teigu my best bet are either Future Kevin 11K or Vilgax.'

"Yes, But don't worry; I do not want your Ultimatrix! I just want that pretty head of yours when you're human once you time out when you transform! Luckily for me, and I'll be free to relieve your body of that head of yours!"

"So you're planning to give me a chance to transform huh?" Ben rolled his eyes. 'Typical villains.' He then smirks at him. "Well very stupid of you if I let that happen." And so instead of turning into an alien he caught the killer off guard as he literally leapt into action summoning all his super strength as a 3 Quarter Saiyan. He was sure to catch the serial killer by surprise, as he saw him standing there. But unknown to him, his action only made the man feel happier when he did approach.

Zanku may not be able to read his mind directly but he can read the thoughts or anticipate his movements through his Spectator to read his directed movements.

"First you're going to come with a swung punch." Zank said easily.

And indeed, that was when Ben did. He came at the serial killer with a swing punch, only to then find the serial killer move to his right to dodge it.

"Next, you're going to try a swift swing kick to the stomach." Zank stated again.

And, again, that was what Ben did. He quickly switched to his left leg, which he then swung at Zank, who only ended up leaping back to avoid it. But just as that happened, the alien Shapeshifting hero leapt upwards into the air and came down for the serial killer with a foot for him.

"And then you're going to come down on me, only then to..." The serial said and paused.

The moment Ben came down on him, it happened just as he expected. It was then obvious when the alien hero did eventually hit the ground, only to then find the serial killer standing a few feet away, with his feet catching a small crack on the ground thanks to his Saiyan strength.

"Use your elastic tendrils to catch me while I'm off guard." The serial killer finished.

And, once again, that was just what Ben did. He shot out a long green tendril to capture the serial killer, just as he had said it, only to then be surprised at what happened next. Zanku dodges the tendrils and charges at Ben who widens his eyes.

"Hahahaha, despite your efforts in attacking me they're all useless." Sneered Zanku.

"Fuck you!" Ben exclaimed, taking a defensive stance. "I gotta say, you sure love to blabber on and on."

"Talking happens to be a hobby of mine." Zanku said, as he smirked at Ben. "While I'm still at it...the way I found you was the power of, farsight. Whether at night or through the thickest fog...I can see clearly over great distances!" Zanku's smirk widened when he easily sidestepped a sudden attack from Ben. The executioner attempted to kick the boy but he dodged the attack. Zanku's eyes widened when Ben's quick instinct flared up as he pulled out his 45 Caliber revolver pistol he got from Mine earlier to defend himself despite the lots of argument that he doesn't always rely on the watch and with the Boss permission he was given the gun catching Zanku completely off guard who managed to block most of the shots, but a stray bullet deflected off his blade into his arm. "GAH! You little shit! You thought you could get a sneak attack on me when I was talking...but now it seems you've cleared your mind of all thoughts!"

"Rule 101; in the hero catalog, always make sure to keep Villains to monologue and use it to your advantage as a distraction to attack." Ben said, putting some distance between himself and Zanku as he spit up some blood. ( Like this )

"You're turning out to be quite entertaining. This is utterly delightful!" Zanku exclaimed, as he glanced at the wound on his arm. "You've even managed to injure me! How fun!" Readying himself, Ben charged forward again; this time with a clear mind. "But it's still no use...I can still read all of your movements." Zanku easily dodged, Ben surprisingly constructed a KI Blade on his right arm and on his first slash, and began to taunt him by calling out his moves. "A bold step forward with slash from above...followed by an uppercut...four rapid pistol shots...horizontal slash from the left...then the right...immediately followed by three more pistol shots...then you go low...for a fake...and strike for the throat..." Ben jumped back just in time to barely dodge a swipe from one of Zanku's arm blades. The attack missed Ben's stomach by only a few inches; cutting a large hole in his shirt.

"How? How did you still predict my moves?! I cleared my mind of all thoughts!" Ben exclaimed, fiercely glaring at Zanku still have his right hand encased with KI blade.

"As I said earlier, I may not need to read your mind but I can still see the subtle movement of your muscles, and predict all of your moves." Zanku replied, which caused Ben's eyes to widen.

'He's strong...' Ben thought, powering up his KI blade once more. 'Damn, I underestimated him! Despite his looks, he's far stronger than any human opponent I've faced.' ( The Ki blade looks like this. )

( Imagine Ben's KI blade like that but lighter, Thinner like lightsaber and it's green. )

"The look on people's face when you cut their heads off is unbelievably pleasurable." Zanku said, as a shiver ran down his spine. "Most of them have this blank look on their face...like they have no idea what's happening to them...I'm curious as to what type of face you'll make...how utterly delightful!"

"My neck's not so weak...as to be cut by the likes of you." Ben said, retaking his fighting stance. 'I will not die here! I have to live, I have to complete my mission and save this universe from both Vilgax and Future Kevin! And to come to Akame and prove to her that I'm trustworthy!' He thought determined.

"Benjamin i..." Akame said, as she sprinted full speed through the capital's deserted streets. "Where the hell did you go!?" Suddenly Akame came to a skidding stop when she heard several loud bangs ring out. "That was Ben's pistol..." Her eyes widened when realization struck her. "He must be fighting Zanku!" With fear pulsing through her veins, Akame took off running towards where she had heard the gunfire. "Don't worry Benjamin, I'm coming!" Akame's grip on her sword tightened. "Please don't die Ben!" She then thought silently. 'I still have to confirm these feelings I have for you!'

(With Benjamin and Zanku; Two Minutes Later)

"This has been so fun." Zanku said, taking several swipes at Ben, which he barely managed to dodge. Ben had managed to dodge a majority of Zanku's attacks, but he couldn't dodge them all. The executioner had managed to land a few lucky hits, despite Ben's quick evasions. Which left several small cuts along Benjamin's arms and sides. "You know, I like you kid. I think I'll add your shrunken head to my collection." Ben was starting to get extremely tired, and his dodges were getting sloppy. "You're quite fast, but I can see that you're running out of steam...Looks like I'll have my prize soon enough...how utterly delightful."

"Screw you." Ben said through clenched teeth, as he applied pressure to the cut on his arm, trying his best to slow the bleeding. 'Shit, I'm really running on fumes here. I needed time to transform, this is my fault. I shouldn't have underestimated him!' He thought.

"I absolutely love when people with such gentle eyes plead for their lives. So I'm going to take my sweet time with you." Zanku said, his twisted and toothy smile returning. "Now... I'll not say it again! Beg! It might buy you just enough time for your friend to arrive!"

"As tempting as that sounds, I think I'll pass." Ben said, as he wiped some sweat from his brow. "I'd never beg for my life from some disgusting scum like you...who's only good at cutting heads off!" He braced himself, and took a fighting stance. 'If he can see my muscles movements...I'll keep this simple...I'm going to put everything I have...into this one attack to give me time to transform!' Ben was preparing to use the Ultimatrix.

"Oh my, what a courageous Hero you are." Zanku said, smirking at Benjamin. "Your wounds must hurt, and you look awfully tired. I'm somewhat of an expert at beheading, so I can help end your suffering."

"Here..." Ben exclaimed, as he launched forward; much faster than Zanku was expecting. "I...Come!" He slashed his KI Blade which flared brighter than before, and he felt his KI blade hit flesh. A large cut appeared along most of Zanku's cheek; blood flowing from the fresh wound. "Heh, I finally gotcha, you bastard." As soon as the words left Ben's mouth, he grunted in pain. Seconds later, He collapsed to the ground with a blood seeping down his back. Zanku had managed to hit Ben as he passed; slicing a horizontal wound along assassin's back.

'That attack was far faster than any of his previous attacks.' Zanku thought, wiping the blood from his cheek. He turned his head to glance at Ben, who could barely move on the ground. 'Tch, this kid is something else...'

"You call yourself an executioner." Ben taunted, as he struggled to at least get onto his knees. "You completely missed my neck! You're nothing but a hack!"

"You little shit!" Zanku roared, charging towards Ben. But when Zanku was a few feet away, a sword impaled into the ground in front of him.

A moment later, Akame withdrew her blade from the ground and pointed it at Zanku.

"Nice job pissing him off, Ben." Akame said, as she turned her head to look at the young man. "As far as psychological damage goes, you destroyed him."

"Akame..." Benjamin breathed out, a pained smile spreading across his face. "I knew you'd come."

"I'm so glad I finally found you." Akame said, as she smiled at Ben. However, Akame's eyes and voice darkened when she saw the numerous injuries on Ben's body. The red-eyed assassin tightened her grip on her sword, and turned to glare at Zanku. "Just give me a moment, Ben. I'll finish this guy off quickly, and with your wounds."

"Oho, it's the infamous Akame and her demon sword Murasame. I've wanted to meet you for some time now." Zanku said, flashing Akame a twisted smirk. "You and the boy looked so cute earlier, it made me want to cry."

"Tch, you stay away from Ben." Akame said, as she clenched her teeth. "I've wanted to meet you as well. After all, I am on a job."

'X-ray vision!' Zanku thought, the eye on his head opening.

He scanned over Akame's form, searching for any hidden weapons. 'Hmm, she has no hidden weapons on her!'

"Be careful Akame..." Ben said, as he leaned against a low wall. "That eye of his can read your thoughts, and see your muscles movements."

"Got it." Akame said, her eyes locking onto the teigu on Zanku's head. "So that's how his teigu works." Taking a deep breath, Akame charged towards Zanku. "Even if he can read my mind and predict my movement, it means nothing if he can't match my moves." Seconds later, Akame and Zanku clashed blades. Sparks flew as Zanku's arm blades and Akame's Murasame grinded against each other. But to Zanku's surprise, Akame was much stronger than she appeared. The red-eyed assassin quickly overpowered Zanku, and sent him flying back; crashing into a wall. The executioner barely had time to dodge, before Akame's sword pierced the wall where he had been a moment before.

'Such incredible skills...' Zanku thought, as he came to a skidding stop. 'She obviously has countless battles under her belt. She's even faster than that boy, and she has raw power on top of her incredible speed!' From the sidelines, Benjamin watched in awe as Zanku and Akame repeatedly clashed blades. Their attacks almost seemed to blur, because of how fast they were moving.

"Damn...So this a battle between teigu users?" Ben muttered, watching Akame take another calming breath. "She's still so much faster and stronger than me in human form, that is...I still have a long way to go."

"Hmmm, it seems you've now cleared your mind. You really are the one who taught that boy, aren't you?" Zanku asked, just as Akame rushed forward again. Akame tried to hit Zanku with a powerful overhead slash. But the executioner predicted her move, and easily blocked her attack. However, again Zanku underestimated Akame's strength. The executioner grunted as the force from Akame's attack pushed him downwards; causing the ground underneath him to crack. Zanku's twisted smirk returned when he saw an opening. Acting quickly, Zanku slashed at Akame with his dual blades. But Akame jumped back just in time, and seemed to be unscathed. But moments later Akame hissed in pain, as blood began to run down her arm.

'Akame...actually got hit?' Ben thought, staring at the blood running down Akame's arm with wide eyes. 'I never thought I'd see that.'

"That sword of yours is just simply unfair." Zanku said, as he pointed one of his blades at Akame. "One little cut, and it's all over for me."

"You're the one who's reading my mind and movements, you bastard." Akame said, clutching the wound on her arm. "So don't you lecture me on what is and isn't fair."

"Oh? Is that a hint of fear I hear in your voice, Akame?" Zanku taunted, which caused Akame to growl slightly. "Are you afraid I'm going to kill you?" Suddenly, Zanku turned towards Ben. "Or are you afraid I'm going to kill this boy?"

"Leave Benjamin out of this. Your fight is with me." Akame growled, her blood red eyes narrowing at Zanku.

"Is it because he's such a huge asset to; Night Raid cause or is it because of something personal." Mocked Zanku causing her eyes to widen in shock. "Well, it doesn't matter. When I chop off both your heads, I'll be sure to shrink them and keep them together, so that the two of you can be together forever."

"The only one who will die tonight is you." Akame said, as she took a defensive stance.

"Before we continue our dance of death, do tell me one thing Akame...How do you deal with the voices?" Zanku asked, causing Akame to quirked an eyebrow in confusion. "Oh come on now, I know you hear them as well...especially when it's quiet and lonely. The shrill screams of all those I've killed...rising up from the deepest, darkest pits of hell. HAHAHA! They hate me so much...and they keep pleading me to join them all in hell!"

'This guy is seriously fucked up.' Both Akame and Ben thought simultaneously.

"I started hearing them after I became executioner at the prison." Zanku explained with a twisted smile on his face. "But it's gotten really bad these days. I try my hardest to drone them out by talking over them. But I'm just curious as to how you manage-"

"I don't hear them." Akame said, causing Zanku's eyes to widen. "I don't know what you're talking about. I hear no voices."

"What?" Zanku asked, as he grit his teeth. "I figured someone who'd killed as much as you...would be able to share my burden..." Zanku's creepy grin returned, when the eye on his head opened once again. "It's truly tragic!" Akame's eyes slowly widened, as Zanku was replaced by a completely different person. ( I can't find a GIF But ( she looks like this. )

"K-Kurome?" Akame breathed out, completely shocked to see her younger sister standing before her.

'Kurome? Who's that?! It doesn't matter whoever that person was, it's important to Akame!' Ben thought, just as remembered how he had seen Gwendolyn. 'That explains Gwen! He must be able to show us people we care deeply about!'

"Oho, it seems you've figured out my little trick." Zanku said darkly, as he began to stalk towards the still stunned Akame. "You see, it's all an optical illusion. The person most dear to my victim appears before their very eyes."

"Akame! It's all a dirty trick! Whoever she is, is not real!" Ben shouted, desperately trying to snap Akame out of her trance, quickly eating a Zensu Bean as he regained his stamina and quickly selected the playlist of the Ultimatrix to transform. "Remember! You can't fall for an enemy's tricks! So snap out of it!"

"You're wasting your breath, boy." Zanku said, as his blades extended from his arms. "My illusions may only work on one person at a time, but the effects are absolute...no matter how skilled or disciplined the person may be...there's no way they'll attack someone they love...Now..." Zanku, disguised as Kurome, raised his blade to attack Akame. "Die at the hands of the one you love, Akame!" In the blink of an eye, Akame raised her sword and slashed at Kurome; dispelling the illusion placed upon her. Taken completely off guard by time, Zanku had no time dodging just as a flashing Green light appeared behind Akame and out of the blue Benjamin in Diamondhead form threw a massive punch on Zanku completely throwing him off guard as he stumbled to the ground.

"Wh...t but how?!" Zanku proclaimed in shock and anger as his illusion dispelled.

"I HEAL FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN!" Diamondhead cracked his neck and went to his Kata as he shifted his arms into blades causing Zanku to laugh.

"Oh it doesn't matter if you transform or not I can still read your movements!" Zanku grinned maniacally as the Petrosapien teen charged towards Zanku to which he smoothly dodged.

Diamondhead slid across the cement floors and faced his opponent. Zanku smiled and chuckled.

"Well, this is gonna so much fun  than last time!" As he dodges every attack throws at him as Diamondhead runs towards Zanku struggling to land a blow against Zanku's big mouth.

"First you're gonna try to bash me in my head with your hand, now formed as a hammer at a downward slash." Zanku predicted. Diamondhead missed.

"Then you're gonna try your finishing move." Zanku predicted. Diamondhead missed again, frustrating him further and further.

"Then you're gonna take me out and launch a fatal uppercut!" Zanku predicted again. Diamondhead missed yet again only for Zanku to chop off a large chunk of Diamondhead's arm.

"I bet that doesn't hurt you as much since that transformation of yours can regenerate. How fun, that means I can kill you at a moment's notice once that thing of yours turns you back. You're out of time boy." He giggled. "I love the expressions they make after I remove their heads. It never ceases to give me such a rush. I'm curious about the expression you'll make once I remove yours, Ben 10 or is it Legion of the Justice League?"

"Okay, you're starting to annoy me more than creeping me out now, you know too much!" Diamondhead said, regenerating the chunk lost from Zanku. "But you can forget it! there is no way i'm letting you hurt me or Akame!" Diamondhead said. "And besides, I'm just stalling." He grinned at him as he winden his eyes but before Zanku could react behind him was Akame who is now free from her stunned state and charged at him stabbed her sword through Zanku's neck; his blood staining her blade as Murasame's poison flowed into his body. ( Like this. )

"You're the one who was wasting his breath." Akame said, pulling her blade from Zanku's body. "I'd never fall for such a pathetic trick."

"Y-You were able to break through my illusion, How?! You were supposed to see someone you love!" Zanku roared, before he coughed up a mouthful of blood.

"That's your mistake, my love is so great...that I want to be the one to kill her." Akame said, causing Zanku's eyes to widen. Resheathing her sword, Akame looked down at Zanku with a sympathetic look. "This battle is over...Now you won't have to hear the voices anymore."

'She saved me...' Diamondhead thought, as he smiled at Akame. 'But I'm gonna get strong, and then one of these days I'm gonna be the one to save her and this universe!'

'She's right...the voices...they've stopped...' Zanku thought, one last twisted smile spreading across his face. "How...utterly delightful...thank you, Akame."

"That was a close call Benjamin, why didn't you transform immediately the moment you face him?" Akame asked, as she turned back to Diamondhead who rubbed the back of his neck.

"Well, I figured out that he can anticipate my movements and guess which form I would take through his Teigu, he couldn't read my mind though so I was able to hold him off long enough to signal you." The Petrosapien transformed Teen explained.

"Uh huh, I'm impressed you manages to hold him off again without Transforming but your fighting moves are sloppy." Akame told him.

"I know, I still have a lot of training to do." Ben said. 'Hopefully she didn't hear what Zanku blurted out of his mouth about who I really am, they're not ready for the truth.' He thought.

"I'm just glad you're okay, you're very important to this group." Akame said and Diamondhead nodded.

"I know." He then pressed the dial on his chest and in the flash of green light he turned back to his human form they keep talking to each other till they both came back to HQ with the others and reported back on the mission against Zanku and during the briefing they were stunned to hear that Ben is able to hold up against someone like Zanku till Akame arrived to finished the job.

After the meeting the duo resumed talking about what happened.

"Anyways, Akame I know that this is personal but you almost got yourself killed back there, care to tell me on who that Korume person is?" This caught her off guard but sighed.

"Well, if you're planning to stay with us. I guess you deserve to know the truth. The girl you saw was my sister Kurome." This causes him to get shocked. "Benjamin before anything else. Will you promise me not to speak of this talk between us to anyone?" With a nodded she added.  "So what you're about to know is known most of Night Raid members but please don't tell them that I told you." The girl asked in a serious tone, causing Be to note that she's being serious.

'She seems pretty serious... I wonder what's going on...' He thought to himself. "Why? Is it something too personal for you that you don't want anyone else to know?" He tried asking.

"You will find out why. I only ask that you stay quiet about this, Benjamin." The pleading look on her face got the brunette to slowly nod in return, unable to say no to her for some reason.

His response caused the raven-haired beauty to sigh in relief, she was glad that he wasn't the type of person to ask too many questions because if he was, she would've fibbed about having to do something and just leave for her bedroom. Now that she has calmed down, she can finally brace herself for what she would do next.

"Good. That makes me feel a lot calmer now." She muttered as she turned to the side, before looking back at Ben once again. "Before I was with Night Raid, I was forced to train... my parents rejected me and I doubt they even loved me. However, I did have a sister who was by my side through all of that... which proves that even though our similarities are as large and clearly seen as Danger Beasts, there will always be something that makes us different from each other."

"Go on." He said while nodding, wanting to know more before he eventually answers back.

Her legs moved from the edge of the bed to the mattress itself as she sat Indian-style; the serious look on her face was slowly crumbling into something more vulnerable, and more human. "My parents sold both me and my sister to the Empire when we were little... We were forced to survive in a forest full of Danger Beasts, and that was how I learned to kill and survive on my own. But during that time, I got separated from my sister and I was left alone. For a time, I was like you with nobody in my family to be there for me when I needed them... until I met Night Raid."

Benjamin only looked at her and listened to her every word, this was a serious conversation in any step of the way.

"I've done my best to retain my old self, but the old Akame seemed too far gone to even come back. Even if I tried to be happy or at least show some emotions, it's not the same. It's like I don't have anything to be happy about anymore." The girl was deeply conflicted, and it looked like she could break down at any second.

"W-What happened to your sister, Akame?" He tried to ask, since she never mentioned anything about her after saying that they got separated.

"I don't want to talk about it." she shook her head before turning to the side, and since Ben wasn't one to ask questions, he understood her answer.

"Okay, I understand." He nodded. "I get it, it's personal." He then put his hands on her shoulders. "But Akame know this, that if you ever wanted to talk to anyone about this or any problems you have, you got my back." He told her with a soft smile and she nodded, smiling back.

"Okay Ben, I hold you to that promise." Akame smiles at him. "Now let's sleep."
