A battle of Conceptual Omni

https://youtu.be/oGGvHAWFKJg

"Solid Juggernaut?" Shocksquatch muttered, his fur crackling. "Didn't you just enhance your own durability or something?"

"Well here's the thing.." said Toji, grinning as he tore off the remains of his black shirt, revealing his glistening muscles. "It would be so much easier to explain if it were just something as simple as that.. but it's an Omni Art, not a simple Omni Enhance like I've been using, which means its a technique with its own bit of nuance- otherwise that electricity would be a problem for me wouldn't it?"

Toji held up both his fists, glaring with a vicious violent grin, appearing absolutely in the midst of ecstasy. "Soid Juggernaut is my own personal unique technique, even a Sub Par master like me, has certain techniques, otherwise I wouldn't be one of Sephirah's Archangels after all.."

"Archangels?" said Shocksquatch.

"Ah.. of course you wouldn't know about that.. but you've met a couple of em already." said Toji. "But it would be pointless to explain that now. Just know that Solid Juggernaut deals with my skin specifically. Let me ask you a question.. Ben Tennyson.. what is the skin for? What is its main job?"

Shocksquatch narrowed his eyes and disappeared in a blur as Omni erupted around him.

"BOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!" Shocksquatch reappeared behind Toji, hurling out a fist and sending a powerful bolt of lightning straight at Toji's back.

The sound of a thunderclap erupted, and smoke hissed off the spot where the electricity struck.. as Toji turned his head to look at Shocksquatch, grinning. "Ehhhh? Ain't gonna let the villain explain his powers to you? I suppose that makes much more sense than simply wasting verbal openings like an anime- Or are you under the impression that I'm like a conventional Jujutsu Sorcerer where explaining my power makes it stronger? Cause Omni arts don't work like-."

Omni Art: OX KING COLLISION.

"Eh?" Toji's eyes widenened as he saw that the lightning that was initially yellow around Shocksquatch's fur was now turning bright white and purple..

In the stands above, Malenia gave a start from where she was watching, her eyes widening beneath her winged helm. "That.. looks like... Raikou!?"

"Why does that feel like a Noble Phantasm!?" growled Toji.

Shocksquatch dug his knuckles into the earth, rupturing it as he stood on all fours like an ape, his eyes blazing white as he lt out a roar and purple lightning aura exploded around him.

The earth shattered as Shocksquath charged forward, breaking the sound barrier and leaving purple sparks and rubble in his wake.

He hadn't tested this Omni Art out at all yet, but ever since he fought that Servant in Onigashima, Ben had felt that whenever he turned into Shocksquatch, it was as if his fur bristled in expectation, that somehow- his lightning could become like her lightning.

A shockwave exploded out as Shocksquatch's lightning cloaked body slammed into Toji.. and the entire stadium shook with a quake that made even the magically stablized stands tremble.

"WH-WHAT!?" The mummy announcer roared as he nearly fell over in the top box. "Wh-what's this? Th.. These stands are made with the clashes between people of Queen Ophelia and Lady Ariadne's level in mind!! H-How are we feeling this!?"

Ophelia's eyes went wide as she saw the bright purple flash. "Wh-what was that-?"

"Omni Phantasm.. don't tell me.. that boy's fought Servants too?" Ariadne murmured.  "But it doesn't seem like he has full control of that technique yet.. it sloppy and doesn't truly feel like Minamoto's actual Noble Phantasm..  perhaps.. if he was given proper instruction.."

The dust cleared in the arena, with Shocksquatch's fist still making contact against Toji's face.. as lightning crackled around them..

"Wh-what?" Shocksquatch gasped right before Toji hurled a kick into his jaw and blood splurted out while the alien hurled high into the sky near the magic dome of the arena..

"WHAT'S THIS!?" roared the announcer. "NOT ONLY DID BEN TENNYSON'S MONSTER FORM DO AN INCREDIBLE ATTACK LIKE THAT- BUT TOJI ZENIN WASN'T EVEN AFFECTED AT ALLLLL!?  This coupled with the battle between Kratos and our Newcomer... its official.. this.. IS THE CRAZIEST FIGHT WE'VE HAD IN THIS ARENA IN OVER A THOUSAND YEARS!!"

"FOOOOOMM!" Another sonic boom and Toji appeared above Shocksquatch aiming two fingers at the dazed alien.

"Well.. if ya ain't gonna wait for me to explain.. I'll give it to you on the go.." Toji said as he hurled his fingers into Shocksquatch's gut, sending him exploding into the ground with a thunderous boom.   "Our skin is made specifically for the task of not only keeping our guts in one piece, but also obstructing infection and outside interference, its very concept itself is that of a barrier..  simply put, I did what you did with that tiger shit head's claws.."

Toji appeared below Shocksquatch and hurled a kick at the alien, only for Shocksquatch to turn mid air and hurl up his forearm as static charged through his fur.

"Omni Art: FUZZY SHIELD!"

Shocksquatch's fur bristled with static propulsion, which should have repelled anything, but instead, Toji's foot burst through the static and sent Shocksquatch hurling back..

"By strengthening the concept of "Barrier" and not just my skin's actual durability, my skin essentially becomes absolutely impenetrable, meaning nothing can go through it. " said Toji. "Naturally, this extends to things that can normally get through even enhanced durability, like electricity.. offensively its a subpar Omni Art,  but.. defensively.. it works with my abilities, since it mixes with my normal abilities quite well.."

"Gahhh!!" Shocksquatch slammed his Omnitrix badge as he flew back, a green light exploding around him as he transformed into Diamondhead, slamming his hand into the earth to stop his flying back.

Diamondhead's legs smashed into the earth as he stood up abruptly, rubble flying around him as he thrust out a hand and green aura Omni-Enhanced crystal shards shot out, exploding through the sound barrier at hypersonic speeds.

Toji merely grinned as he swatted his hand through one of the crystals, shattering it as more crystals bounced off his muscles, causing his skin to ripple somewhat with each impact. "I told you, my skin won't let anything penetrate! Don't ya understand?!"

Toji launched himself forward and hurled a fist straight at Diamondhead's face.

Diamondhead's eyes flared as he raised an arm to the air and it shaped itself into a massive crystal blade which he slashed down at Toji as he approached.

Diamondhead's blade bounced off Toji's shoulder as Toji's fist smashed into the side of Diamondhead's face, causing crystal fragments to fly out as Diamondhead slid back, his face cracked.

"Thanks to the fact that my skin is pretty much simply a walking shield, I'm free to go as wild as I want, regardless of the enemy, and focus the rest of my Omni.. into boosting my physical attributes instead of simply spreading it among my skills and other attributes." said Toji. "Understand now Tennyson? You can't beat me like you would any other enemy you brute force."

Toji hurled a palm straight into Diamondhead's chest, causing the alien to vomit out crystal shards as it flew back and exploded straight into the wall of the arena.

Back in the stands, Erice gripped the head of the seat in front of her nervously. "Sh-shit.. such a simple Omni Art and its that overpowered!?"

"I gotta give him credit, I think he might've taken the idea from my Infinity overall. In the sphere of Omni Arts, Concepts are far stronger than physical visible aspects, as physical Aspects are constantly controlled by Reality's concepts of how they should be.. in essence, mastering Concept based Omni Art is the peak of Omni Combat." said Gojo.  "Hmmm.. Toji's not on a teacher's level with his basic Omni Arts spread, but.. his usage of Omni focused into that one base part, that one technique, its probably one of the reasons he's one of Sephirah's top dogs.. "

"Care to lay it out plainly?" Hanzo muttered. "What's that mean for this fight exactly?"

"It means that Toji's figured out one of the reasons I beat him. It's not about brute force or pure power,  the fact is my abilities passed down through the Six Eyes and my family and clan are pure unadulterated Hax." said Gojo quietly.  "Hax.. or Cheat Powers.. powers that one can't overcome simply by becoming stronger than before..  I've seen it happen in various worlds.. such as The Witch Powers of that one Universe with the kid who keeps dying and coming back..  or that one Esper Boy with the white hair..   My Infinity is a perfect example. Hanzo.. if you learned a technique that could bisect a planet do you think you could cut through Infinity?"

Hanzo frowned. "Not really, it doesn't matter how strong my cut is if it inevitably slows down infinitely before reaching you."

"Precisely! Bingo!" Gojo said, giving Hanzo a double thumbs up. "And that's what makes Concept Omni Art potent.  A concept can't be held, it can't be overpowered with conventional force..  if Rath's Claws were reduced to nubs for example, as long as Wild Hunt continued to lengthen the concept of ' cutting range' on his claws, he'd still be able to cut his enemy.. the concept just still needs to exist."

"Then.. how's Ben supposed to counter this!?" Rex exclaimed with a shocked expression as he watched Diamondhead fly into the other side of the field with a booming smash.  "if like.. Toji's got the concept of being invincible.. then he's-."

"Well that's just the thing.. he's not invincible.. he's inpenetrable.." said Gojo. "Semantics matter in powers like these.. it means that words hold more power than simple physical traits..  In this sense the battle is that of wordplay.. and words hold loopholes above all.. "

"But.. I don't get it.. aren't impenetrable and invincible the same thing?" Rex asked.

Gojo smirked. "Hmmm... no... not in the slightest..  but of course whether Ben wins.. is up to whether he understands this."

Back down in the stadium... Diamondhead hurled up his arms and blocked more strikes from Toji, his crstyals cracking even as Omni erupted over him, increasing his durability.

Due to Toji's skin being impenetrable, that meant he was free to exert force that would normally risk him being injured, allowing him to even exert enough power to damage Diamondhead's highly durable body..

"A..Aww MAAANN!" Diamondhead roared in frustration as Toji kicked out his legs from under him.

"Omni Art: Heedless Bullhorns"

Toji leaped into the air till he was at the dome cieling , his feet slamming against the magical transparent barrier that kept hte rain out..

He hurled himself down becoming a burning meteor as the friction around him caused him to burn up in a blaze.

As Toji began to close in, Ben could already tell.. that blow would shatter Diamondhead to pieces..

This... this was it for him!?

Seriously!?

Would he really have to trust Erice and Hanzo to pick up the pieces for him and fight in his stead!?  When.. Ophelia was.. was his..   Ophelia.

Diamondhead's crystal eyes saw Ophelia in the box in those briefest of instances..

Her eyes, were filled with worry, her face had lost its composure..

She was worried for him..

Almost as if- she remembered him..

Almost as if-

"You know... I would've won."

Ben blinked up as his mouth was stuffed full of the double cheeseburger he had been gobbling down in Mika Homura's family diner..

"Huh?"  Ben muttered as he swallowed his food. "Where's this coming from?"

Ophelia smirked at Ben, drenched in sweat, a towel over her shoulder, her gym clothes fresh from a session of combat training.  The other 5 had already gone back with Mika to get ready to watch a movie.. but Ben and Ophelia had stayed behind to train a tiny bit more, and were now taking a break.

"You and me- our fight that decided everything.. I would have won." said Ophelia with a grin.

Ben frowned. "Are.. we seriously doing this right now? Come on man! You KNOW I whooped you.."

"Did you? Was the battle decided fairly or did you simply talk me down in the end?" Ophelia asked, winking at Ben.

"I mean.. sure.. but.. come on man this isn't like you Ophelia.. you're not the type to care about th-."

Ophelia jabbed a finger on Ben's forehead, causing him to flinch.

"Wrong.. or right I guess. I'm NOT the type to care about winning or losing past fights, that's for sure, I'm not competetive like Erice or Parvarti.."  said Ophelia. "Or.. like you for that matter.  The results were that I joined the Radiant Seven, and with that I'm satisfied.. rather what I TRULY care for.. is what happens to you the next time you fight someone like me."

"What?" Ben asked.

"Its important to remember that I was in a horrid emotional state when we fought, I kind of wanted you to beat me, but I kind of didn't want to lose." Ophelia said. "During that fight I was reckless.. I didn't use my brain like I should have-  even with Way Big coming in clutch like that, I should have been able to win."

"Yeah? List one way-."

"I could have manipulated my eldritch magic to only hit the same plane of existence as your soul, so my ability only hit your soul while bypassing your alien durability- do you have an answer to that?"  Ophelia said.

"Uh... well.."

"Or I could have used my Mystic Eyes to enchant you and take over your mind, got an answer to that?"

"Well if I had Brainstorm I could-."

"Did you  HAVE Brainstorm before Erice helped you activate Radiance?"

"Uhhhhh.."  Ben furrowed his brow in frustration. "Ophelia... are.. you ACTUALLY stronger than the rest of us?"

Ophelia sighed. "No darling, I'm not, I'm trying to make you realize my mistake when I fought you, and your flaw.  There are many ways you could have countered the strategies I put out, but how do you usually solve problems when you fight?"

"Transform into an alien, run at it and start hitting shit I guess." said Ben.  "I mean its not like I don't strategize sometimes.. I learned to do that when Six Six and Tetrax-."

"Well here's the thing- Ben Darling, you have an EXTRAORDINARY gift for thinking on your feet, its come into play many times as we've taken on unconventional enemies, but at the end of the day.. I've more often seen you Go Ultimate and simply pummel your enemy till they're gone.. when the Omnitrix's sheer variety of abilities could have let you finish the fight quickly..  your strength... isn't that you're overwhelmingly strong.. your strength is you have an overwhelming amount of ways to win...  punching them with Humungousaur doesn't work? Freeze with Big Chill.. that doesn't work? Blitz with XLR8, or use a Smart Alien to think up something else..  Ben, you're never going to be in a situation where you don't have a way to win, because at least one alien will have an answer, but you've never exercised your unique ability to think on your feet and take those answers... instead you've simply hit things harder."

"I suppose that's a problem I've had since I was ten, even if I've learned to get over it." Ben muttered. "I guess.. I always KNEW it was a problem but-."

"But the problem is you fight with your heart." said Ophelia.

"HUH!?" Ben said, blinking. "My what?"

"Ben, here's your number ONE weakness.. MY number ONE weakness." said Ophelia said, smiling radiantly, winking. "We fight with our hearts on our sleeves. You see me hurt, you want to scream, you wanna rip the enemy apart.  You see Erice or Shi-Jian or somebody else nearly die.. you simply charge in..  Ben.. is this some nakama anime where simply being emotional and tearful wins a fight or.. or do you fight with your brain?"

Ben went silent.

"But... I don't WANT to not fight with my heart.." Ben whispered.

"Hmmm.. why?"

"Because if I start fighting without it.." Ben muttered.  "I'm worried about becoming somebody else.."

Ophelia's eyes dimmed a little and she smiled slightly, gripping Ben's hand. "Is this about the time you almost killed Kevin?"

Ben remained silent.

"I HATE to bring this up Ben.. Darling.. but I'll only do so because I care for you so much.. didn't  your heart do the same thing your brain did- when you got mad at Maltruant for killing me?"

Ben froze and looked back up at Ophelia.

"Sorry.. I know.. that was wrong for me to bring up, but-  your heart and your brain are two parts of you that always need to be in balance if you want to win a fight while remaining you." said Ophelia. "So.. I want you to practice a few things the next time we train.. "

Ophelia held up a finger. "Your heart is the castle that musn't be penetrated at all cost.. your friends, your loved ones.. all of us. But your SWORD is your brain.   Don't fight WITH your heart.. fight FOR it..  let it be the reason you fight, but the reason you win will be the sword you wield to defend it.. "

"Fight... For my heart.. not with it.."

This whole time.. Ben had been fighting desperately and violently against Toji with Ophelia on his mind.. fearful for what would happen if he lost and couldn't personally fight to reach her..

He had fought constantly to get to her.. fought with her always on his mind.

But that was wrong.

Kratos had said it best, Love was painful, a pain worth fighting for, but it was pain nonetheless, and pain got in the way when fighting..

But neither could he put that pain away in a box when it was convenient. No..

Ben took a breath through Diamondhead's body as he turned his eyes away from Ophelia.

He wasn't fighting WITH his love.. he was fighting FOR it.. it was his mind he needed right now..  he needed to put his entire being towards the important fight right now SO he could continue worrying for her..

"IT'S OVERRRRRR!" Toji roared as he exploded down at Diamondhead.

There was a flash of green light.

Toji's fist hurled down as a green carapaced head erupted from the earth and met him in mid air.

The sound of cracking as knuckle bones were dislocated were heard, and Toji's eyes went wide with shock as his hand broke against the armored head.

"WHAT!?" Toji roared as the burning aura around him disappeared and a long slender crooked insect-like clawed leg kicked right into his jaw and sent him flying.

Toji whirled through the air and used his unbroken hand to dig into the earth and catch himself in a burst of dust and rubble, his fingers digging in and allowing him to land on his feet.

Before him, was an alien he hadn't seen before.

It stood tall on two long grasshopper-like legs with powerful muscle springs attaching the joints much like spring loaded webbing.. Its two smaller clawed hands and arms were not prominent compared to its legs, nor its head, which was a slender thing comprised of armored plating with two bug eyes and a grinning set of teeth.

The humanoid grasshopper wore a black and white jumpsuit typical of alien transformations, with the Omnitrix's badge on its stomach.

Crashhopper slammed  a foot on the ground, and the earth shattered beneath it as he grinned. "Well well.. I thought you said you were impenetrable.."

Toji looked down at his now crooked and broken fingers and palm which were dripping blood. "How did you do that?"

"Hey Hey.. no telling.. this alien's actually a bit new to me, I wanna keep breaking it in while it's fresh and hip!!" said Crashhopper as he bounced on his legs, air boxing as he did so.. the sounds of spring loaded launchers erupting out with a "KaCHEEEN!" each time his joints pushed off.  "You can figure it out while you go!"

Toji narrowed his eyes as he put his unbroken hand over his mangled fingers. Several pops and grunts later, and his broken hand was set back into its normal shape.

Toji flexed his bruised and cut hand, testing his grip. "Hmph.. true enough."

Crashhopper bent his legs, and the sounds of springs loading up as pressure built while Omni shrouded the alien sent a series of mettallic "CHEEEN!"s through the air.

"KAAACHEEEEEEEEEEEEENNN!" Rubble exploded from the alien's feet as he leaped at high velocity his head forward.

"Eh.. his head!?" Toji hurled up a fist to slam into Crashhopper's head.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!" Rubble exploded out as Toji saw flecks of blood fly from the fist..

Toji's eyes went wide as he felt arching pain going through his hand. "AGAIN!?"

Toji hurled a punch, only for Crashhopper to use his arms to push off his arm like a clothesline and hurl a kick into Toji's head, the powerful spring loaded kick, sending Toji flying back.

"What is this?" Toji muttered as he slid back, shaking his bloodied wrist.  "I felt pain when he hit my fist.. but when he kicked me.. all that really happened was the force of it sent me back.. it didn't hurt or penetrate in any way..  what's going on?"

"Hmmm?" In the top box, Ariadne's eyes widened slightly.

"What is it?" Ophelia murmured. "What happened?"

"That boy.. is pretty damn good." said Ariadne, starting to smirk slightly. "I see what he did.. while I don't know what the creature he turned into is.. I can guess what it does.. look at that thing's head.."

Ophelia looked down at Crashhopper. "His... his head.. it took that much force but there wasn't any damage.."

"His power is rather simple, but that's the genius of it overall.. " said Ariadne. "Jeez Gojo.. you really do know how to teach em hmm?"

Crashhopper bounced on his feet a little down below, shadow boxing once more as Toji glared at him, narrowing his eyes.

"Hmmm... that alien.. why can he..?"

Crashhopper grinned before launching himself into the sky, turning into a green streak as a sonic boom erupted several times from breaking through the sound barrier several times over, before he slammed his legs into the cieling and shot down at Toji.

Toji's eyes flashed and he leaped away as Crashhopper headbutted the earth, the very ground rupturing into a crater.

Toji watched in slow motion through a few miliseconds as a ripple went up Crashhopper's body starting from his head, as if the impact was being absorbed and distributed through it..

"His entire body underneath his exoskeleton is a sponge... but his head is like one giant shield... and his legs are both stronger than even a Tetramand's individual limbs, even though the rest of his body doesn't possess that strength.. don't tell me.. his power is simply just being a battering ram? That makes no sense!"

Crashhopper launched himself backwards shooting straight into the wall of the arena before turning and slamming his legs into the wall and firing off it.. Toji's eyes flitted back and  forth as Crashhopper began to bounce all over the place in a web of green streaks like a hyper fast pinball.

"Why... does hitting his head.. and nowhere else mean I bleed?" Toji muttered as he leaped back, barely dodging as Crashhopper streaked past and then somersaulted forward to avoid Crashhopper bouncing back from behind.

"SHIT!!" Suddenly Toji found him falling back as Crashhopper twirled in mid air   mid streak and used one leg to kick the ground, causing him change course and slam a foot down into the earth right next to Toji's leg.

"The ground!?" Toji muttered.

"CRRSSSSHHHHH!!" Crashopper's clawed foot gripped the earth and ripped out a chunk of earth.. part of which was the very ground Toji was standing on.

"He couldn't penetrate my stance with his kicks.. so he went for the ground I was standing on!?" Toji thought, his eyes widening as he was flipped into the air so he was just several meters off the ground, facing Crashhopper right  below him, who was bending his joints.  "Wait..that means.."

"Omni Art: AP BULLET TRAIN!!!"

Crashhoppers legs blazed with green Omni, as did his armored head as he exploded off the ground at mach  speeds, spinning as he went, turning into a green blazing drill that erupted into Toji's gut in mid air.

"G.. GAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Toji threw up blood, his eyes rolling into the back of his head.

Crashhopper drove into his gut continuously as he spun and drilled relentlessly, and the both of them exploded into the magical cieling of the arena..

The magical shielding shattered like glass and the rain came down in torrents   causing the audience to scream in shock as Crashhopper continuously drove Toji straight into the sky, the both of them disappearing into the storm clouds.

Lightning flashed around them as Toji in the midst of the storm cloud slammed crashhopper off by chopping his neck with a volatile hand swipe.

Crashhopper spat out blood but twirled in mid air.

"OMNI ART: Storm.. Platform!!!"

Mist swirled around Crashhopper's feet, as a disc made of thick ice appeared.

"He used Omni to enhance the cold of the storm in a single spot for a specific shape!? The amount of concentration required for that alone-!" Toji thought, eyes wide, momentarily shocked.

Crashhopper kicked off the ice platform, causing it to shatter in a shockwave.

"BOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM!!" Toji caught Crashhopper's head in his bare hands as they fell through the air, a  shockwave blasting the rain apart for a mere moment.

The ice had been too fragile a platform, it hadn't provided Crashhopper with the amount of force he needed, even if he boosted it with Omni, considering the limit or percentage of a boost depended on the Omni skill of  a user...and even if Toji  could call his own Omni sub par, the boy was still a novice, even if he was a genius novice.

Toji grabbed Crashhopper in a grapple as the two of them smashed into the now wet and sopping mud with a powerful slam, rain continuing to pour on top of them.

The cieling's magic flickered and the rain stopped as in a flourish of energy the shielding reformed.

Crashhopper and Toji leaped away from each other, the both of them covered in new injuries...

Crashhopper's left leg buckled a little as he coughed and held his side and Toji gritted his teeth calmly while feeling over the black and reddened spot on  his gut where Crashhopper's full tackle had caught him.

"Not bad." Toji said, smirking. "I get it now.. that alien's entire gimmick is being a living bullet right? to tackle the living shit out of something.. in other words, its power centers around a concept.. Piercing and Penetrating.. I wasn't aware Gojo taught you Concept Centering."

"Concept Centering?" Rex muttered from the stands. "Dude.. what the heck? This is getting way too complicated for me."

"I've never heard of it.. you giving Boss secret lessons teach?" Hanzo said, looking at Gojo.

Gojo merely laughed aloud. "My my! not in the slightest actually. It seems Ben discovered a Second Year Lesson completely by accident!"

'HUH?!!!"  Everyone exclaimed.

"Wait.. you can learn shit by accident?" Denji muttered. "How does that work.."

"Living Denji.. simply living.." said Erice.

"It's true!" said Gojo. "Look for yourselves."

Down in the arena.. Crashhopper simply tilted his head in confusion and muttered. "The heck is a Concept Centawhatsit?"

Toji blinked and raised an eyebrow. "Seriously?"

"Eh... he.. really did it by accident." said Hanzo. "Heh, typical.. "

"Well to explain.." said Gojo. "Concept Centering is a highly advanced trick used by Omni Arts Masters to boost their Omni enhancements to higher levels without straining themselves too hard.. its where you devise something like an object or a part of your power into an aspect  to boost it..   well if I were to explain it.. lets say I wanted to cut something... so I used Omni to enhance the cutting power of scissors to cut through an object...  by using Omni on the Concept Cut that was within that scissor's traits.   Reality has governed those scissors to have the aspect 'cut' due to those who live in the world giving it that trait through their belief and design and reality's construct..   but what if used that same aspect on a Sword? Which would be more effective?"

"The sword right?" Rex muttered.

"Neither." said Hanzo. "If your Omni Art is focused heavily enough on making a blade that conceptually cuts through anything and everything.. it doesn't matter what you use, as long as the object has the aspect 'cut' added in.."

"True, if we're thinking in terms of Toji's Unique Omni Art.. which requires unparalleled skill and practice in that Art alone.." said Gojo.

"My brain is exploding.." Rex muttered.

"However.." Gojo continued. "Omni has limits...  the only beings that can make an object absolutely limitless in its own concept are gods.. Toji's art has a limit, but unfortunately its exceedingly high, unlike Infinity which doesn't require Omni to limitlessly slow down something..  but concepts are so powerful, the only thing most likely to Pierce Something UnPierceable.. is something that is Pierce by definition.."

"Crashhopper is a living projectile!" said Erice, her eyes wide as she smacked her palm with her fist.  "Wait.. so that STRENGTHENS the concept of him BEING a projectile? But... that makes sense in the first place since he has to have that nature to strengthen it in the first place right? Its not like I can use Omni to boost a Guineapig's ability to be NOT cute if it doesn't meet the requirements of not cute.."

"True..  rather Concept Centralizing means you tap deep into the weave of Omni itself, and find an object's inner nature and force it out.. it's an added extra boost to the boost so to speak.." said Gojo. "And the more something like that fits the definition of what you are boosting, the higher the boost.. and it only works if you use it as a Concept Type boost and not simply physical attribute boosting..  in other words..  if somebody makes a concept type defense like Impenetrable Skin, you can take the concept of a Projectile and make it an All Penetrating Projectile.."

"And in the case of who wins.. an unbreakable shield or an unstoppable sword- the winner is whoever's Omni is boosted higher." said Hanzo with a grin. "Ahhhh.. so in the end it was sort of simple... "

"But can Ben even do that anymore?" Rex grunted, sweating slightly. "Dude.. his leg looks kinda mangled.."

Gojo's smile slid away as he looked  down at Crashhopper who was limping,  slightly. "Hmmm.. that is a problem.. like I said.. Concept Centralizing is highly advanced and takes hyper specific circumstances, such as becoming the epitome of what he is conceptualizing..  I'm guessing by jumping and enhancing himself as he was a projectile.. he became the essence of a projectile.. enough so that he was able to surpass Toji's concept of impenetrable..  but if he can't jump.."

"Forget that.. Crashhopper can't even fight normally if he can't use his legs." Erice muttered. "Fuck.."

"GOJO SENSEI! ERICE USED A BAD WORD!!" Power yelled.

"Zip it." Erice muttered, chopping Power on the forehead.

"There's still hope.."

Erice blinked at the voice and looked a the seat in front of her to see Todo grinning as he folded his arms resolutely.

"Y-you.."

"My Brother... My Best Friend.. Ben Tennyson is no longer governed by his rage.. do you see it now? Do you see it? If you're Ben's friends.. if you're truly his Radiant Seven.. then you'd know better than to doubt!! LOOK his movements already are far beyond what they were at the beginning of this match.." Todo said. "No longer are his strikes violent and unfocused.. no.. Toji Zenin- now has something to fear!"

Back on the battlefield, Toji smirked as he felt his gut. "Trouble? I don't see you jumping in recklessly this time.."

"Hmmm.." Crashhopper muttered as he tapped his injured leg, testing it. "Yowch! Well guess you've got a point there.. ain't gonna be hippity hoppitying anywhere now.."

"Well that just means your Concept Centralizing strategy.. while genius at the time.. is toast.. you lose." said Toji.

Crashhopper grinned. "Heh! I know you are but what am I?"

"Seriously? Even an old fart like me knows that joke's dead and buried." said Toji.

"Bens will be Bens!" Crashhopper exclaimed. "Sorry.. but all I see is a guy whose butt I'm gonna kick, it's still Hero Time buddy, so sit back and enjoy the magic!"

"Hmmm.. you aren't as rageful as you were at the beginning of this." Toji muttered.

"Sorry bout that.. I wasn't fighting like me for a bit.. needed to keep my head clear." said Crashhopper.

"Hmmm?" Toji tilted his head. "Were you distracted?"

"You could say that.. but I just needed to remember that I shouldn't let what I fight for be the thing to trip me up.. otherwise how can I even fight for it?" Crashhopper said.

"Fighting for hmm? That really is a new sensation for me... but in the end a job is still just a job." Toji muttered. "Even if my boss is on your side..  right now.. I'm just fighting to follow instructions.. and that's using my all to beat you.."

Toji drew a hand over to his shoulder as something... began to slither up around his body from out of seemingly nowhere.. something like a huge slithering worm..

"Wait.. I feel cursed energy from that.. I know that cursed spirit... "Gojo muttered.

"What does it do?" asked Hanzo.

"Mainly it allows Toji to store a number of Cursed Tools, while he was always good at hand to hand combat, his main strength as a Sorcerer Killer came from his immense practice with using Cursed Tools.. he used quite a number of them when he fought me and my old friend Geto.." Gojo muttered. "Any tool would be crazy enough.. but... that energy I feel.. is too familiar.."

Toji grinned as stuffed his hand into the mouth of the worm on his shoulder and drew out a long red staff.. the staff split into three sections, linked by chains.. like a set of extra long three sectioned nunchucks.

"Playful Cloud!?" Gojo exclaimed. "But that was- wait.. something's different about it.."

Toji smirked as he twirled the end of the section of the staff. "Looks like I have to be a little serious now.."

Crashhopper narrowed his eyes.  "What.. is that..?"

In the top box Sephirah sighed and put a hand over her forehead. "Jeez Toji.. you're going too far again.. I told Muramasa to reforge that so we could fight Ariadne if we needed to you dope not use it on him!!"

"E-eh?" Ophelia turned to look at Sephirah, who was seated right next to her.  "Wait.. what?"

Ariadne's eyes flashed. "What kind of ability does that weapon possess?... HEY!"

"Devilish Thunderhead.. Toji got worked up again... " Sephirah simply muttered.

Toji swung the staff upwards, laughing as his eyes blazed with electricity, and suddenly a huge ominous feeling exploded out as Crashhopper felt his life flash before his eyes.

"NO!" Ophelia exclaimed, her eyes suddenly wide as she felt the surge of Cursed magic. "That.. that's way too-"

"GET OUT OF THERE!!" Gojo roared from the stands.  "BEN!! THAT'S A NOBLE PHANTASM!!!"

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!" Devilish Thunderhead erupted with lightning as storm clouds shook from outside the walls..

A wave of storm clouds combined with a torrent of lightning slammed down on the battlefield, erupting into the walls, and almost breaking their enchantments as Toji flew into the sky twirling the polearm around him, lightning blasts caging him like a halo as they erupted more powerfully downwards...

"When I took the remains of Playful Cloud, the essence of the Throne of Heroes.. and had Muramasa forge it with the remains of Gungnir from Thor's father.. I was hoping for a weapon we could use under highly unlikely and terrible circumstances.. but I should've figured Toji was getting too eager to try it out..  "

"BOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMSHHHHKSHHHHSKKKKSHSHSSHSHKSHKSHHSKSHKSHKHSKHSKHSKHSKHSKHSKSHKSHSKHKSHKSHSKHKSH!!!"

The dust cleared to show Crashhopper lying on his back, gritting his teeth as he staggered to a kneeling position, lightning crakling off his carapace.

"My my.. using Omni at the last second and put it all into withstanding electric shocks.. but not the burns... I guess you're quite skilled at the end of the day.." Toji said as he began to twirl Devilish Thunderhead again..  "I honestly didn't expect it to be this powerful, heh.. I should've stuck to a different tool- sorry bout that, but at the end of the day-.."

Toji stepped forward as he began to twirl the stick faster and faster.. the thunderclouds above beginning to swirl menacingly again.

Crashhopper let out a breath.

Ophelia's voice played back to him over and over..

Ben, you're never going to be in a situation where you don't have a way to win, because at least one alien will have an answer

There was a way to win..

There WAS a way to win.. there.. had to be-."

"This is goodbye." Toji raised the Cursed Tool as lightning exploded from the sky into its tip and the earth began to tremble. "

Then it crossed his mind..

He and Ophelia had together been in this very situation hadn't they? After they defeated Clint.. and Dragfeld showed up... and they were unable to respond immediately because the Omnitrix was scanning-..

"I have used my Mystic Eyes to Enchant you.."

Crashhopper's eyes flashed as he slammed his palm down on the badge.. and a green flash erupted..

"Eh?" Toji blinked. "Do you even have anything that can-"

Everyone froze in astonishment..

Ophelia's jaw dropped..  Ariadne's eyes went wide with shock..  The mummy announcer could only sputter...

But it wasn't the appearance of the creature that now stood in front of Toji that held everyone in stunned stupor..

No..

It was his aura... an aura and scent that many of the long lived monsters in the crowds.. the oldest among of them... rememberered, and hadn't been felt since Ophelia and Ariadne..

"H.. HOLY SHIT!!" Luna stammered. "You.. HAD THIS IN YOUR GODDAMN WATCH!?"

"It... it feels like.. " Ariadne exclaimed.

"AN ELDER VAMPIRE!!!"  roared the announcer.

But what everyone saw wasn't the regal beautiful red eyed humans that any associated with Elder Vampires..

No.. this one...

It was more menacing than beautiful.

A tall thin creature wearing a black jumpsuit with a white chest plate.. the creature's face was a bony mask that protruded into two batlike ears.. with an upturned nose over gray skin with long fangs and black lips.. sharp claws spread from its thin long arms.. its almost stilt like feet ending in two toed talons..  a walking nightmare.. a humanoid gray skinned devil

The Vampiric alien faced the stunned Toji who was staring, lightning still sparking off the polearm.

"What- that alien never appeared in any of Sephirah's-."

"This guy.. is Ophelia's gift to me.." said the alien. "Call me... WHAMPIRE!"

"Hmph..well, I can't say I'm not a bit shocked, but...  I can measure power quite well at a glance... and this thing can't stop a Noble-."

"BA-DUMP.."

A heartbeat sounded...

Toji's eyes stopped blinking..

The alien's eyes... Whampire's green eyes...suddenly felt large..

"BA- DUMP..."

Toji's arms went slack.. no... rather... they realized their place..

"BA.. DUMP.."

And not just his arms.. his entire being.. recognized his place.. as those eyes bore through him.. through his soul.. through his very being..

And when Whampire next spoke.. the voice was laced with power... authority..

"Give up."

"Yes..." Toji whispered.. as he raised his hand up slowly..

And so Toji spoke, as easily as if it were his own self willing it, even though in reality it was the will of the being that now held his mind in thrawl.

"I forfeit.."

Whampire grinned, his fangs flashing.  "Oh yes you do."
