"It started when an alien device did what it did..."

Ben Tennyson sighed as he trudged through the thick woods near the old campsite where his summers had been spent with Grandpa Max and Gwen. Those were simpler days—before alien invaders, before intergalactic threats, and certainly before the Omnitrix. He paused, taking a deep breath of the forest air, trying to shake the nostalgia that clouded his thoughts.

Suddenly, the ground shook beneath his feet.

"What the—?" Ben stumbled, regaining his balance just in time to see a brilliant flash of green light explode in the distance. Smoke curled up from what looked like a crater. Intrigued, Ben's curiosity got the better of him, and he jogged toward the source.

There, nestled in the smoldering crater, was a strange device unlike anything he had ever seen.

"It can't be..." Ben muttered, kneeling down. As if sensing his presence, the alien device latched onto his wrist with a metallic snap, glowing bright green.

Ben stood up, staring at it in disbelief. It wasn't the original Omnitrix—it looked sleeker, more advanced. But just like before, it refused to come off.

"Guess I'm stuck with you again," Ben said with a half-smile.
