Okay so I uploaded the chapter again and I don't know if the problem is still there but if it is:
   I'm so sorry, some words are clashed together in the text when they shouldn't be and I tried to fix it but what ever I do it doesn't work. So it starts showing in part 2 of the text so just try and read it anyway, it's super annoying that I can't change it but hopefully it's readable

Hazel paced back and forth, something was wrong but she couldn't put her finger on it. She wanted to ride of on Arion but she couldn't just leave Frank.

"Maybe we should say something to Reyna, she always know what to do." Frank said, he was tired and just wanted to go of sentry duty. Well it wasn't his sentry duty but he didn't want Hazel to patrol on her own, all the more reason why Hazel couldn't just leave.

"We don't even have a problem yet. I just know that... ugh, why can't I describe it?" Hazel threw her hands up in anger, she accidentally hit a branch but she just shrugged it of. They sat in the woods and assaulting trees were more normal than you think.

"If you sat down and breathed for a minute you would be fine."

"I'm not fragile, pacing isn't going to kill me." Hazel responded with heat. "I'm sorry but I think this is about Nico but it doesn't feel like him, just...similar."

"I don't think Reyna would know either. We haven't seen him for ages, we weren't even there to great him home."

"Thanks for cheering me up."Hazel said sarcastically.

"I'm just saying that maybe something happened to him when he was away."

"Yeah, he was kidnapped and probably tortured, no one knows, not even Leo." Hazel finally sat down next to her boyfriend. The log was a little moldy but she didn't mind, her feet ached. "Leo sent me a messages, iris messages the day he returned with Nico, like he promised he would. He said that Nico looked better but he didn't get a chance to look for injuries,nor mental health things. He started talking about something on M but then the messages got disrupted."

"Nico hasn't called?"

"No. He hasn't answered my letter or anything."

"It doesn't sound like him. He could talk to you for hours, he hasn't even talked to me, which he only does when he can't reach you for some reason." Frank sighed and ran his hand through his black hair."Three years is a lot Hazel, but I'm sure he is okay."

Hazel nodded. She hated sentry duty because it made her think. Frank laid an arm around her shoulders.

Three years were a long time. She and Frank had gotten a lot closer and she didn't blush anymore when he touched her. He still held his distance when they where around people but like this, alone, they couldn't stop touching. Nico would have Frank's head if he knew.

'Oh Nico where are you?' Hazel thought.

Reyna sat in a tent.

Argentum and Aurum were sleeping by her feet.

"You haven't done your work properly since that son of Hades disappeared." a tall girl sat on a bean bag in the middle of the tent.

"Neither have you."

the girl smiled cooly, her black hair was spiky but had started to grow longer, making it seem smoother than it actually was. The girl also had blue eyes, a heritage from her father.

"My lady have given me the rights to search for him. We aren't cousins but I have a fondness for him. He was a troubled kid."

"Thalia." Reyna said. "Your lady Artemis have already told you that Leo took him home. Why do you need to find him."

"I thought you guys were friends, why aren't you looking for him? He hadn't even called his sister since his return. How do you know that he is alright?" Thalia bit back like feral dog.

"I honor his decision on not talking to me. I love him like a brother but if he feels that he can't talk to me then so be it. Maybe you should respect that too."

"He could be sick, dying, he could have a ton of secrets. When I was a tree, time stopped and I thought that I was slowly dying until I woke up looking at Perce. I don't want Nico to feel like he is wasting away when he can get help."

"Thalia, I am praetor of the twelfth legion, I am a daughter of Bellona and I am Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano. I don't need to hear your excuse to hunt down a boy."

Aurum reacted at Reyna's voice. He snapped into action, which was snarling and barking at Thalia who calmly sat still locking her gaze with Reyna.

"My father told me something. The gods have been very tired lately, they think that an attack is coming. Zeus, the king of the sky, knew of Nico and the goddess of dawn. He says that the goddess shall reclaim what is rightfully hers. I won't let her have Nico again." with that Thalia stood up and left the tent.

Reyna started petting Aurum's head to calm him. The golden dog sank down and joined his brother on the floor once more.

She couldn't deny that she missed Nico, her brave friend, and that she wanted to go out and find him. Reyna also knew that he probably was home and safe at Camp Halfblood, something had happened and Nico was scared to reach out. He would come eventually. Until then, Reyna would rule Camp Jupiter as normal.

Annabeth Chase was locked up in her room.

The air was stiff with heat and she was sweating. If she opened the window then only more heat would slip in, the wind had died down an hour ago, and if she opened the door then music and loud people would distract her from her homework.

Annabeth was a smart kid, daughter of Athena and all that, but in university it didn't mean anything. She was still smart, just average, due to the dyslexia it took her double the time to finish anything.

She missed her friends, sure Hazel and Frank would visit and she would visit Reyna on weekends and some holidays. It wasn't the same as seeing them every day and it wasn't the same as hanging out with Percy, or Grover, or her siblings.

Only reason why she left Percy was that she was tired. Tired of always having to fight for a future. She wanted Percy like nothing else but she also wanted a proper education and a good job. So she said goodbye to camp Halfblood, her home, and to Chiron, her father, and then she moved to New Rome.

In the beginning it had been wonderful, an adventure that didn't require killing or fights. She even got a couple of new friends but now...

she was an outsider, all her friends had hopped of from school since it was to hard, her classmates were jerks and her teachers were worse.

Annabeth hated it here but it was just one more year to go and then she could come back to Percy, if he would still have her. Last time they spoke he could only talk about him and Jason. Annie knew that Percy wasn't gay, you don't change that much but he could be bisexual. She doubted it though, he still said that he loved her. She hoped that he could hold on to that feeling a little bit longer.

"Annie?" there were a knock on the door.

"Go away, I have a huge test tomorrow that I need to get an A on." Annabeth screamed back, really hoping that she would be left alone.

The door swung open and a tall girl with black hair stepped in. Thalia. Of course she just had to waltz in here and destroy the evening. Now Annabeth had to be social, she hadn't seen her best friend in ages.

"Thals, pick better times to come by. My door is always open for you, just not tonight."

"No hug?" Thalia asked and held her arms up.

Shaking her head she ran into Thalia's arms. Even though Thalia was tall Annabeth was taller. And older. Her friend was frozen in time, still at the age sixteen Thalia looked as cheery as ever.

"Now, business. I spoke to Reyna but she wants to leave Nico alone. I can't find Percy, or Grover. I think goat boy is of with his girlfriend somewhere and I don't even want to know what seaweed brain is up to."

"So you want to talk about Nico?"

"You don't really hate him so yeah. I want to find him and ask him about his kidnapping. My father is suspecting an attack on the camp due to Nico having either stolen something or is the one who had been stolen."

"Wait, someone is going to destroy camp?" Annabeth's heart raced, this can't be happening. She had to talk to Chiron!

"No, just looking through it to get back what was stolen. But if it's Nico I want to stop it. Nico deserves some happiness in his life."

"True that."

After that it was silent for a few minutes and then they talked about a plan and then Thalia helped Annie study even though she was mostly thinking about camp, Chiron, and about stolen things.

Kalei was shaking. She hated talking to new people, she didn't really know how to talk to them, she didn't know how they thought or reacted to her comments.

And that was normal people, how was she going to talk to a five-year-old girl who father isn't coming home in the near week.

How had she even gotten the job? Percy, the one and only, had spoken to her and said that she would watch over Nico's daughter. This is because Kalei was friends with Hazel. When Kalei spoke about not making impacts it was true, it was frightening and often led to talking to people, which she couldn't really cope with unless they were super friendly and a really close friend. This Mina kid was neither.

Sure she wasn't a stranger, the little girl had run around camp making friends left and right. She was cute, nice, social and best of all, she understood things even though she was so young. Maybe Kalei would come to like Mina too, just like the rest of camp did.

"Are you Mina?"

the small girl sat outside the big black door that led to the big black cabin. She was clutching a pillow pet in shape of a panther, a black panther. Being related to Hades and loving black was a package deal?

"Yeah, I'm to scared to go in without daddy." the small girl said with a shaking voice.

"you're father sent me. He said he wouldn't be home in a while and that I should look after you. I'm a good friend of your fathers sister." Kalei took a deep breath and willed herself to stop shaking, she was older than this small girl and therefor stronger. She had to keep herself together for Mina's well being.

"I've never met her." Mina bluntly said.

"Do you want to come and talk to my friends? I was supposed to learn a bit about the mist that controls our world. Do you want to learn about it too?"

"Can I bring Panther?" Mina raised the black panther up in the air.

"Sure, why not." Kalei smiled and tucked a lock of her own hazelnut hair behind her ear.

Mina got up from the porch, took a strong hold on Kalei's hand and then waited for Kalei to move first. Kalei smiled wider, not to reassure Mina but because this was the first sign of trust she ever gotten from someone. Even Hazel avoided skin contact.

Together the girls walked towards the Athena cabin. People were busy reading, discussing different theories and planning a strategy for the next Captor The Flag game.

Kalei sank down next to her friend Jessica, she was smaller then the rest of her siblings in the Athena cabin but she had the standard blond hair and the gray stormy eyes.

"This is Mina" Kalei said, "and this is Jessica."

"Well hello there little one, ready to learn about the mist?"

"Yeah." the she tugged on Kalei's wrist, Kalei thought the five-year-old would rip her arm from the socket. "Is it really okay that I brought Panther, he isn't very good with secrets."

"It's okay, the mist is a known factor in our universe." Kalei rubbed her arm discreetly.

"Good." Mina smiled and settled down to listen to Jessica, who was just smiling a big goofy grin, her gray eyes sparkled a bit.

Stupid Jessica and her weird protective feelings about children. But underneath Kalei's stubborn heart she knew she would protect and guard Mina no matter what from now on, heck she would even sacrifice herself for Panther.
