It had been hours since Eevee's trainer had abandoned her. She had been pulling, biting, and scratching at the rope but it wouldn't budge. She eventually collapsed from exhaustion and started to think.

Why did my trainer abandon me, what did I do wrong?

Suddenly, she heard leaves rustle and saw eyes in the bush.

"Who's there?" Eevee asked with a quivering voice.

The noise got louder and louder, it seemed like the forest grew in size and the shadows were moving all around her. The bush in front started to shake. Something was coming out of there. Eevee backed into the tree and closed her eyes.

A Pokémon leaped out and Eevee slowly opened her eyes. In front of her lay a Pokémon who she was not familiar with. It looked kind of like herself but bigger and greenish with leaves on its back.

"What are you?" Eevee questioned.

"I'm a Leafeon, and might I ask what you're doing here all alone tied to a tree," she wondered, her voice was sweet with a British accent.

"What's a Leafeon," Eevee asked curiously.

"I'm one of your evolved forms." Suddenly Eevee remembered her trainer saying something about evolution.

"What's evolution," Eevee asked.

"Well, um, when you're in the right place at the right time you evolve," Leafeon explained terribly.

"What?" Eevee asked with a confused, innocent look on her face.

"Well, hold on let me think...uh oh my Oran berries you're still tied up, let me help you," Leafeon used Leaf Blade on the rope and set her free.

"Thank you Leafeon, now that I'm free I can go evolve and go back to my trainer, then he'll never leave me again."

"Why, oh and my name isn't Leafeon it's Lily."

"I have to evolve so that my trainer will want me. He left me here because I didn't evolve, but I didn't know he wanted me to do that and I don't even know what evolution is and my trainer will never waannt meee," Eevee began to cry much to Lily's surprise. Lily used Vine Whip and began stroking Eevee.

"Shhh, calm down everything will be fine...uh what's your name," asked Lily.

"My name?" Eevee questioned.

"Yeah your name,"

Eevee looked down and and twitched her ears.

"Don't tell me you don't have a name," Lily said. "Don't know about evolution, don't have a name. You don't get out of your pokéball very much do you?" Eevee shook her head. "Well it's getting around mid-day which is when the Beedril are most active, also you must be hungry, I have some berries in my thicket."

"You would let me go home with you? Even though we just meet," Eevee asked surprised.

"Oh of course! We can also choose a name for you on the way," Lily replied.

"REALLY?! YIPPEE....OW!" yelled Eevee as she fell and collapsed on her front right paw.

"Oh my Oran berries! Are you ok?" Lily asked.

"Owww my paw really hurts," Eevee responded in pain.

"Oh, you might have sprained it. It's a good thing that I have a friend who knows how to heal manually. Now let's hurry on, Servipers, Scolipede, and Beedril are all quite active at this time of day." Lily urged.
