They trotted along where the forest meets the cliff while Lily was suggesting names.

"How about Stephanie?"

"No."

"Rose, I like Rose."

"No."

"Oh, okay I knew this Eevee named Jasper?"

"What kind of name is Jasper?!"

"Well I'm running out of ideas!"

However, Eevee was no longer paying attention, she saw a little tan thing that kind of resembled her old toy she used to play with, so Eevee went up to it and bat at it. It started to make a really loud and annoying sound and then turned around and Eevee was sure it wasn't her toy, unless her toy suddenly had eyes. Eevee-scared for her life-backed up into a tree which shook and more tan things started to fall and make that noise.

Lily quickly whipped around.

"What have you done!"

Suddenly, there was another noise, a more...disturbing noise, deeper in pitch and raspier, almost like a bee buzzing in a microphone. Lily looked around scared.

"Run!" yelled Lily as a gigantic Beedril appeared from behind the trees. Eevee tried to run, but collapsed on her leg.

"There's no time, come on!" Lily screamed as she used Vine Whip to hold Eevee in the air and ran.

"Why is he chasing us?"

"You messed with his nest."

"Nest?"

"Yes, those Kahuna."

"Kahuna?"

"Yes, the second evolved form of Weedle."

"You mean those things I played with?"

"Yes."

"Oh no, I'm so sorry,"

The Beedril used Poison Dart, but Lily dodged it with ease which made the Beedril angrier.

"Apologize later! Right now we focus on getting out of this,"

"Uh...Lily? The Beedril's drills are glowing."

"No!" Lily threw Eevee into a bush right before she got hit by Pin Missile and flew into a tree. Eevee got up and tried to run away, but only found herself in a dead end. Beedril's drills started to glow again. Eevee covered her eyes with her ears and began to cry.

Out of nowhere a flash of lighting appeared and Eevee's hairs stood on end. Then she heard a loud thump. She slowly opened one eye and found Beedril's right eye next to her. She screamed and moved away.

"Thank you so much!" Eevee exclaimed to her rescuer. However, the Pokémon just turned and walked away.

"Hey I said thank you!" Eevee shouted. But the Pokémon just kept walking.

"Fine! If that's how you want it then bring it!" Eevee used Tackle-the only move she knows- on the Pokémon, but she ended up tripping and falling face first onto the ground. The Pokémon turned around to face Eevee.

"You've made a terrible, terrible, mistake. You are going to regret messing with me," as the Pokémon said that, it jumped up into the air and used Thunder. In an instant, Eevee felt something wrap around her and pull her out just in time.

"Lily!"

"Jenny!" yelled Lily, "How dare you terrorize Pokémon weaker than yourself! I thought you protected Pokémon, not harmed!"

"Lily, I see you're still around." Jenny responded nonchalantly.

"You better have a good explanation for trying to hurt Eevee."

"She tried to attack me, she should know better."

"Oh please, you hatched from an egg too."

"What?"

"Sorry dear, no offense."

"Whatever, I'm wasting time talking to the likes of you." Jenny started to walk away, but as she was walking Lily used Razor Leaf on the tree in front of Jenny.

"You're not the only one who can fight," Lily stated. Obviously, there was something deeper going on between them but Eevee didn't think this was the right time to ask.

Jenny turned around and used Thunder, but Lily counteracted it with Solar Beam. The two attacks collided to create a cloud of smoke.
Jenny appeared through the smoke and used Double Kick on Lily. Lily went a couple feet back. Jenny started to charge up energy.

Eevee started to think about all that Lily did for her, she offered to let her stay at her house, help her evolve, and get a name. Eevee got up and stood in front of Lily.

"What are you doing?! Run!"

"You were there for me so I'm there for you,"

Eevee stood on her hind legs and put up her front paws. Jenny jumped up and used Discharge, but nothing happened. Eevee and Lily didn't have a scratch on their bodies.

"Eevee....you know Protect?!"

"What's Protect?"

"What you're doing right now!" Eevee opened her eyes and noticed a protective barrier around her and Lily. She put her paws down and the shield went away. Lily quickly took the opportunity to attack Jenny and used Leaf Blade to strike her down to the ground...hard.

"What was that Pokémon?" Eevee questioned.

"That was a Jolteon, another one of your evolved forms."

"Are all Jolteon jerks?"

"Oh heavens no, Jenny is...a special case."

"How do you know her name?"

"It's a long story."

"We have time."

"Don't you want to evolve?"

"We can walk and talk." Eevee looked back at Jenny. "What are we going to do about her?"

"Leave her for the Beedrils to get."

"That's harsh."

"Well, she was harsh to me."

"But she saved me from that Beedril,"

"I could've saved you."

"But you didn't because you were stuck in a tree."
