Eevee opened her eyes and looked at her trainer. She stretched thinking how cramped her pokéball is. She saw no one around so she figured her trainer was going to play with her, so she started prancing around like they used to.

"Eevee stop!"

She stopped and stared.

"Eevee come here."

She slowly inched forward and he started to tie her up.

"Eevee you have to stay here, I can't have an Eevee that can't evolve. I tried everything; stones, rocks, I even played with you for hours every day, but you just won't evolve. All of my other friends have evolved their Eevees but I didn't, so I think it's time I say goodbye."

He got up and started walking away. Eevee tugged on her rope.

"You have to stay here...I'm sorry,"

The trainer took off into the forest. Eevee began to cry and it echoed through the forest.
