"Jungkook-ah.. let me ask you this, can you promise me on that?" She was happy when Jin said all that, but she just wants to be assure with jungkook's opinion too.

"Yes ..."

"Will you take care of my jinnie?.. for the rest of your life?.." she just asked him straightforwardly, not beating around the bushes. She looked at him hopefully.

"Your majesty..-?" Jungkook was surprised as his eyes widened.

"Please Don't deny it. Let me tell you something, Hear me out. You know Jinnie has never been the adult he must be. He's really innocent and doesn't really know anything about cruelty of this world. He trusts everyone whole heartedly. Like a small child. He really is.

Someone has to protect him. As you know, his own father doesn't like him. And namjoon, he has another family to take care of, Yoongi and their unborn baby. So he cant do much for Jin. And I'm also getting old, I can't keep him safe like before. Everyone needs a partner to walk along while holding hands in every situations, face every hurdles and receive all happiness in their life together. And Jin has found you. Me or namjoon can't stay all the time for him, So I want you to protect him cause I believe in you"

He listened to her every words, his own self was surprised that Jin liked him too, he thought Jin was only being nice. He really felt warm inside by knowing that. But still he has to hear the confession by Jin himself.

Also another information shocked the hell out of him 'Namjoon and yoongi are having A BABY??!! That's news!'
He kept that information stored in his mind and decided to focus on the important thing.

"..But majesty, why me?" Jungkook was just confused with sudden confession all of these things. He could just came up with one question, 'why? And why she was telling him everything?'

"I saw you taking care of him as if he's your other half. It's not the first time, and I can see that in your eyes for him. No one in this house has ever take care of him like that other than me. And I believe in you that you will make my son happy, safe and beloved. So I trust you" He was kept thinking.

"Jungkook, there is no need to think. promise me you will take care of my son, keep him safe and love him till the very end"

"..I promise" they sealed the promise with their pinkies and thumbs.

And that's how Jungkook was tied in Queen's promise, which was against his mission.

Few days later..

Prince Jin was in the garden while spending quality time with beautiful flowers around him. He became healthier after his mom was taking care of him more as well as jungkook.

Jin and his mom was convinced that jungkook will support them no matter what. But jungkook was conflicted in his brain, if he had to fulfill his parents death grave promise or his lover's mother promise. Both were important for him.

Jungkook was passing by the garden while thinking a lot of these things in his mind. He stopped in his tracks when he saw his angel surrounded by flowers.

He slowly moved forward and stood in distance while looking at Jin in awe. His beauty was really something that he wants to admire all day long.
Jungkook's eyes turned into crescent with smile, when Jin's plump lips opened wide to show his pretty teeth as he chuckled.

"-ungkook- ah"

"Huh?" He came out of his Dreamland.

"Kookie are you alright? You've been standing there for so long. Come here"
Jin gestured to come and sit beside him with a wide smile.

"Y-yeah" Jungkook scratched his neck as he walked there. He seated beside Jin who was looking at flowers.

"What are you doing here, Jin ssi?"

"I feel peace whenever I sit with these lil flowers. It's so beautiful and makes me happy" jungkook nodded and smiled at him.

"I want to keep it with me, but I can't. It'll die after I pick it up. I don't want that. But it's also pretty" Jin was pouting cutely. Younger chuckled at him.

"Then let it stay there" Jin nodded and bent down to look at flower more closely.

"Look, it's petals are so tiny... You are so cute~" Jin complimented the white Lil flower and showed it jungkook.

"You are the cutest" Unknownly, jungkook said that while gazing at him with a lovable smile. Jin got flustered and turned other way with red cheeks.

Jungkook smiled widely. His mind suddenly reminded all of the Queen's words and his promise to her. Also the moment he saw namjoon and yoongi in their room.

Hours before-

"Joonie, I'm worried" yoongi displayed a panicking gaze on his lover.

"Baby, please don't be. I'm there for you and we'll be together whatever happens"

"It's not only about us now, Joon. It's about our child as well. I want to see my child coming to earth and calling me, papa. I want us and our child to live happily, Joon... " Yoongi was crying in his arms as he held namjoon's garments tightly.

He was worried after hearing Prince jin's marriage which was against his will. He doesn't want his boyfriend to marry someone else other than him.
He doesn't want to lose his baby's dad.

Namjoon hugged him tightly and caressing his boyfriend's back, trying to console him. He knew what will happen to them, if his father gets to hear their relationship. That's why he was more than worried.

Jungkook heard all of their conversations and felt really bad for them.

Present-

Jungkook was aware of his mission was to get Jin and ruin his life. Like slowly torturing majesty, he thought king will suffer if he sees his son suffering. He thought Jin wouldn't be so naive as everyone told about him, so he was careful with his moves.

But he understood that Jin was really innocent, like a child whose genuinely so pure. And quickly fell for someone he didn't even know.

Just like how he's showing a tiny flower now and complimenting it.
He was giving loving gaze to Jin. He decided a thing, that he will fulfill both of the elder's promise. Doesn't know how, but he's sure that he will.

Someone interrupted jungkook's thoughts and called him to get in fencing room.

"I had to go, your highness" Jin nodded with a sad smile.

"Bye~ come back soon" he whispered last sentence to him. Jungkook smiled at him. He was confused at who called him but still went there.

In fencing-

"Your majesty" he stood outside of fencing to see the King with sabre.

"Oh, jungkook. Listen carefully, You have to prepare few things"

"Yes, your majesty"

"It's a small celebration before marriage, prepare the ball room and send invitations only my friends and their families. The details are with namjoon, ask him for that."

"Okay, your majesty. I'll check on details and send them"

"And one more thing, stay away from Jin. Don't think I'm not aware, I know very well whatever happens in my kingdom" He pointed his sabre under jungkook's chin with a sharp gaze.

"No your majesty. I'm not close to prince Jin. He was just asking about wedding preparations" he lied through his teeth.

"Oh,really?" He narrowed his eyes while lifting jungkook's chin by sabre.

"Yes, your majesty" he confidently lied to him.

"At last he give in, that's great to hear.
Haha" Majesty was creepily laughing.
He thought he won against Jin and belittled him.

"Ok, now leave. Start doing what I said before" jungkook nodded and left while gritting his teeth.

'Kim would probably think I'm preparing for jin's marriage with someone else.. Nah-uh not gonna happen until you die' jungkook smirked while thinking of some plans.

At the same time, namjoon finds out from his loyal spy. That jungkook wasn't just some random person.

"Guess, it's time to say goodbye Jungkook" namjoon crinkled the paper as he said.
