Tiger
"Come on Kishibe you can't stay sad."
Kishibe ignored the brunette tugging on his arm and turned to face the wall.
"At least come outside please. Tiger would want you to."
The boy's physique dropped even more at the name Tiger. "I don't want to. I'll only feel worst. Just go and tell me where the grave is so I can avoid it."
Bella frowned and kneeled beside him. "I don't want you to miss this. Just come out so you can say your final goodbye." Bella hugged his now shaking form. "Please."
Kishibe kept quiet and Bella let him go while sighing. "Ok I'll let everyone know you're not coming out." Bella got up and left his room, closing the door behind herself.
Everyone at the house sighed hearing that he wasn't coming down.
"Well let's get this over with then."
The small funeral commenced with a few tears being shed. At the burial Kishibe poked his head out the door still hidden from the rest of his family. He watched them put the shoe box in the hole and cover it with dirt. He paid his own respects after everyone was gone and shed a few tears.
"Let's go for a walk to take your mind off this." Kishibe nodded and followed Bella into town to wherever she was taking him. They stopped outside of a pet shelter for a little while Kishibe tried to pull himself away. "Let's just go in for a bit. You need to get over it now."
"He just died today Bella. I don't think I can get over it." Kishibe stopped his pointless struggle and looked at the ground.
"It won't hurt to try. Come on." Bella pulled the reluctant Kishibe into the pet shelter and straight to the cat section. "See it's not so bad. That even likes you already." Bella watched the kitten rubbing it's head against his leg.
"I don't want another cat. Can we go already?" Kishibe sighed watching the kitten rubbing it's head against his leg. "Or maybe we could stay for a few minutes."
"Ok I'll be right back. And no running off." Bella left to find a worker hoping to get the little kitten.
Kishibe bent down at rubbed the kitten's head with his finger. "Hi little one." The kitten purred at his action and quickly climbed into his hand. Kishibe smiled and sat down with the kitten in his lap. "You're so adorable."
"Ok I'm back now. Aww cute." Bella watched the kitten and Kishibe playing with each other oblivious to the world around them. "I have something for you."
"What is it?" Kishibe looked up from the floor.
Bella gave him an envelope. Kishibe opened it and pulled out the certificate inside. "Wait is this an adoption certificate? Did you just adopt a kitten? In my name?"
"I got her for you. So you can handle getting over Tiger even more. What are you gonna name her?"
"Bel. Because her and a special friend of mine made today good. Thanks Bella." Kishibe smiled for the first time that afternoon since getting the sad news.
Bella blushed lightly and scratched the back of her head. "It's nothing. I just hate seeing you so upset."
"No really thank you. It means a lot to me." Kishibe pulled her into a big hug with Bel in the middle. The poor kitten meowed in fright thinking she'd be crushed. "Sorry."
