Steve walked into the room where everyone else was sitting.  Everyone was finally there.
"So are you going to tell us what's going on now?" Clint asked.
"If you insist" tony sniffed a bit annoyed at his impatient colleague.
"You all remember we had a tour scheduled for today right," Tony said.
"Yeah, a bunch of high school kids right?" Natasha Romanoff, the black widow,  spoke up.
"Yes well there was an accident and one of the kids were hurt," Tony said.
Everyone looked at tony getting more impatient.
"So what you got a lawsuit coming?" Clint asked.
"No. At least. Not unless Steve wants to sue. And to be quiet honest I would beat him to it. Turns out the girl was being bullied by the other kids" Tony explained.
"Wait. What?"
"What does Steve have to do with anything?" Rhody asked.
"It was his kid that got hurt" Bruce finally spoke up.
Steve sighed looking down in thought with his arms crossed sitting back in his chair.
"I don't know what to do tony. I dont know about the kids but The military can't get away with this." Steve spoke up.
"And they won't Roger but right now all we can do is wait and see what happens I've already got my lawyers on it" Tony explained.
"wait. What about the military.  What's the military have to do with anything?" Rhody exclaimed.
"They have everything to do with it," Tony said.
"They took my DNA when I was still frozen and that's not the worst of it all!" Steve said angrily.
"Yeah let's not get into what those. Assholes drilled into her" Bucky said snappishly.
"Barnes my table did nothing to you," Tony said.
Bucky looked at the table confused and saw he had gripped it too tight with his metal arm.
He huffed and crossed his arms looking away.
"That's impossible shield would have" Natasha started to speak.
"We already talked to Fury Romanoff.  He knew about it he likes it just as much as Steve does." Tony snapped.
"What did they 'drill into her'" Clint asked quietly staring at the table unsure of what to think,  being a father himself he could imagine a child being hurt without thinking of his own and getting angry.
"I just had to explain to her that we sleep in a bed in a bedroom and not in the laundry room does that tell you anything barton," Steve asked trying to contain his anger.
Barton had to stop himself from reacting to not only steves words but the venom behind the words also.
"Don't be mad"
Everyone looked around hearing a little girls voice.
"I'm used to it"
They saw Bella standing there in the doorway rubbing her eyes tiredly.
"Bella what are you doing up," Steve asked alarmed.
"Woke up" Bella replied walking over to him.
"Are you hurting? do you need anything"
Steve asked.
Bella shook her head a bit negative. "Don't feel pain?" she said,  it sounds as if she had repeated the statement quite a few times.
"Everyone feels pain once in a while and right now you should be feeling pain" Bruce spoke up.
Bella looked up at him with a blank stare.
"No pain." She repeated. "Not allowed," she said quietly.  Steve teased up and was sure only he and Bucky had heard it.
Steve glanced over at Bucky who looked straight back at him clearly angry.
"Then what woke you up?" Bruce asked trying to find a question she would answer.
Bella shrugged. "Don't know" she replied.
"What do you know?" Tony asked annoyed at the lack of answers.
Bella tensed up wanting to move away from him a bight frightened but stubbornly held her ground and staid right where she was at.
"I'm going to be in trouble when they take me back," Bella said monotoned.
"What part of you are not going back don't you get the kid?" Tony asked.
"You can't stop them.  They will make me go back" Bella replied looking down.
"Watch me" tony snarKed.
Steve put a hand on Bella's shoulder.  "If anyone can do it it's him. Just wait and see.  You won't be going back there. You are staying here with us" Steve said.
Bella looked up at him wanting to believe him but was hesitant and did not want to get her hopes up.
"Come on don't worry why don't we all go and get some sleep.  We have a long day tomorrow.  Spangles you,  Barnes,  and the kid need to be in here when my lawyers get here tomorrow at noon" Tony said.
"Does Bella have to be there?" bucky asked quickly.
"Yes.  They need to meet.  Think of it this way.  What they see about her will give them more firepower" Tony explains.
Bucky nods understanding,  but Bella noticed it was reluctant.
Bella looked over at Tony. "If I do then I can stay with dad?" She asked sounding hopeful.
"Yes, that's the whole point of all this" Tony replied.
Bella nods understandingly.
