Chapter 21: Gone

Isabelle POV

So Magnus is the one that brought Bella's vampire buddies here. They seem a lot different from the last time we saw them. But, they do look nothing like our vampires, that I remember.

They were here for Bella, it was obvious. Well, how were we suppose to break the news to these guys? They were going to be heart broken. Especially blondie, what's his name? Casper? Jasper!

He's gonna look way worse than he is now.

"So, um, who are you guys?" Blonde girl asks. Rosalie, I think.

"My name is Isabelle, but everyone calls me Izzy and this is my brother Alec." I say gesturing to Alec.

"Oh." She says.

"We're the Cullen's and this is my family. I'm Carlisle, this is my wife Esme and kids; Edward, Alice, Alex, Emmett, Rosalie, and Jasper." Carlisle says pointing to each person.

Hah! I was right.

"Well, what are you guys doing here then?" Alec asks giving Magnus a weird look.

"We're hear to find Bella." Emmett says making everyone fall silent.

"Where are we standing anyway?" Alice asks when no one answers.

I glance at the building behind us.

"It's the Accords Hall. The Clave has meetings here. This also where the Accords were signed. The Accords are peace negotiations signed between the Downworlders and the Clave. The Accords act as amendments to the Covenant agreed to be taken as the law of the land by all of the Shadow World." I explain.

The Cullen's nod. "That's interesting. That's wasn't in the book Magnus gave us thou." Carlisle muses.

Alec sends Magnus a sharp look, making him shrug. "Not all of our history is written down and stuck in books." I say dryly.

"Ah." Carlisle says.

"So, where's Bella?" Emmett asks, trying again.

Jace and Clary tense visibly and Jace swallows thickly.

"I think you should go now." He says coldly.

"No, we came here to see her and we're not leaving unless we do." Emmett says firmly standing his ground.

"No."

"Why not?"

"She not here!" Jace snaps.

If it is possible, the vampires seemed to pale even more.

"What do you mean?" Edward asks slowly.

Jace shuts his mouth. "Iain's a traitor." Alec mutters.

"What does he have to do with any of this?" Alex asks frowning.

"He took her ok! Iain kidnapped Bella. He's a traitor to Shadowhunters's. And when he's found, his being stripped of his runes." Clary says and everyone stops moving.

Shock was written on all their faces as if they couldn't believe it. Bella, was gone.
