Chapter 15: Explaining

Bella POV

After I saved Jasper's life-he's so lucky to have me, hahaha-I stabbed a few more vampires before I noticed the sun was starting to come up. The vampires noticed it too and they made a quick retreat.

They mumbled about Raphim, their leader, and how they would all die 'cause they didn't kill me. I shared worried glances with my mom and Xena.

After a few minutes of silence, Emmett pumped his fist and laughed.

"That was totally awesome! If this is what you guys do everyday, I have to join you!" He said happily.

Most of us laughed and rolled our eyes while others-mostly my family-looked at him like he was nuts. Which I can't blame them. Their probably thinking how can Emmett can be so happy after killing vampires he hardly knew anything about. Even if they weren't exactly his kind.

Xena mutters about forgetting her stele so I propose that we all head inside. Xena gives me a grateful smile and we all head in through the back door. Ra, who had been watching from my window jumps on all of us-Shadowhunters-hugging us and saying things about how she's glade none of us died and how she probably would have died along with us if we did. Mushy stuff like that.

Once we're all cleaned up and the iratze rune has been marked on to heal cuts, we're sitting around the living room, watching each other. It's really kinda weird actually.

Us Shadowhunters and the vampires glance at each other, my family giving them curious glances. It was kinda like they were giving each other questions with their eyes.

I suddenly sit up so fast my head would be spinning if I was mundane and surprise everyone. They all suddenly turn to me.

"Look, we've all had a long night ok. I'm tired and I'm sure the rest of us Shadowhunters are also. So if we all have questions here we'll all take turns, let's get on with!" I snap and take a deep breath. I really need some sleep, I think as I take my seat again.

"So, your Shadowhunters." Carlisle says slowly breaking the silence which I'm thankful for.

We nod and most of them glance at me. Which I shrug as if to say, "What could I do?"

"And your those vampires we've heard about." My dad says, somewhat sarcastic. They nod.

"So we've met before haven't we?" Carlisle asks.

Me, my mom, and my dad glance at each other. I shrug as in whatever.

"Yep, I told ya didn't I." I say.

"Ah, actually you took us to war where we almost died." Mutters Edward. I glare at him.

"Look, your not dead so shut it Penny head." I snap.

"Isabella." My mother warns. I just look at her than glare when Alec snickers. Alice smacks him and glares.

"I would watch it, you could be next." I say raising my eyebrows up and down in mockery which he scowls at.

"Anyway," Starts Carlisle. "I have a feeling we're missing something big here." Everyone nods with him. I sigh and shake my head.

I then proceed to tell them, firstly why they don't remember us 100%. Magnus Bane, a warlock friend of ours had stuck a block on part of their minds that had anything involving me at my request. I didn't explain why exactly but they seemed to confused and surprised to ask at the moment.

I then told them anything and everything from the day we met to the day they left.
