Day 1

Bella flew awake with a gasp and sat up with wide eyes. She looked around the room and saw that it was not her own. the room was dark the furniture was either Black or a dark red. The bed had silk sheets. 

she carefully pulled the sheets off of her and got off the bed shakily. She looked her self over and was surprised to find her skin flawless. "my wounds" she whispered in shock. She walked over to the door and carefully opened it. Looking out into the hallway she didnt see anyone or anything. 

feeling just a little comforted by that she slipped out of the room and walked down the hallway. The hallway in it's self was creepy. it made her shiver. Her heart began racing as she neared the end of the hallway. 

Fear shot through her as she looked out into what looked to be a throne room. There were people, no. spirits lined up coming through the door and up to a large throne. She stepped out carefully trying to stay in the shadows. 

"hm light!" she heard a demonic voice purr. 

"Leave her alone!" another voice, male, demanded. Bella turned quickly and saw a dark haired man standing there. She wasnt sure how he had gotten behind her but it made her jump in fright and fall to the ground. 

"Who are you! where is this place? why have you brought me here?" Bella shot out quickly and noticed the demon inching away sulking. Do demons sulk? she wondered to her self surprised. 

"My name is Hades, and this is the underworld" Hades replied. 

"oh god, Im dead....they finally killed me" Bella whispered letting out the air she hadn't realized that she had been holding. 

Hades chuckled a little bit. "oh no, you are not dead. Those men that attacked you however are" He explained. Bella looked up at him in alarm. 

"I'm confused" She said looking at him puzzled. "if i am not dead then why am i here?" she asked. 

"I brought you here, Mainly to satisfy my curiosity. I have seen you in many of the spirits pasts. you have encountered many that have past through here. I have grown rather curious of you" He explained. "last night i went to the surface for another matter but, I saw those men attack you, I must say you defended yourself pretty well" Hades said. 

"not well enough if you ha to step in" Bella said with a sigh and looked down in thought. 

"do not sell your self short, what i do not get is, why some one like you was walking alone at night" Hades said curiously as he walked over to his throne and sat down gesturing her to walk closer.  

Bella hesitantly walked closer to him a little reluctant. "I...I was...walking home. I've been trying to get this job that i really want. Ive been training my self and studying for it" She said with a sigh. 

"what type of job is this that you are so desperate to get?" Hades asked. 

"To work at the BAU." Bella explained as she glanced around the throne room. all eyes were on her. It un-nerved her. She shivered. 

"why that particular job??" Hades asked as he sat up. 

"well, when i was younger...this group...this team...thats where they worked...they saved me. ever since then...that's what i wanted to do" Bella replied with a slight shrug. 

Hades turned and looked at one of his advisors. "I do beleive that it is time for breakfast" he said shooing everyone away. Hades looked over at Bella. "come with me" he said holding his hand out to her. 

Bella hesitantly took it and he lead her out of the throne room. "you guys eat down here?" she questioned. 

"Of course. Even us gods have to eat"  Hades said looking annoyed and amused at the same time. 

"I just..." Bella stammered out. "honestly all the things that you hear, rumors and books, you are not going to make me eat raw flesh are you?" She asked looking sick. Hades barked out a laugh. 

"it's alright" Hades said reassuringly as they walked into the kitchen area. "and no i am not" he added through his amusement.

Bella and Hades sat down at the table as three plates appeared on the table full of breakfast food. 

"Pancakes?!" Bella said shocked and happy at the same time. She absolutely loved pancakes since being introduced to them. 

"we only eat raw meat for desert" Hades said teasingly. Bella grew pale, but hearing the teasing tone in his voice she relaxed. 

A young boy with black hair just like Hades walked in. He looked as if he was in a bad mood. 

"Nico, we have a guest be polite" Hades said firmly. The boy, Nico, looked up and gave look to Hades after looking at Bella. 

"A guest?" Nico asked. 

"Yes, only a guest" Hades replied. Bella shifted a little nervously in her seat. 

"where is...persephone?" Nico asked sneering at the name. 

"Persephone will no longer be welcomed in the underworld" Hades replied as his eyes flashed in anger. 

Bella and Nico looked up at Hades in surprise. 

"Isnt that your wife?" Bella asked. 

"You mean it?" Nico asked sounding hopeful. Bella turned and looked at Nico thoughtfully. 

"She is no longer my wife, nor will she be considered as anything related to me" Hades replied. Bella watched as a look of relief filled Nico's eyes. Bella turned back and looked over at Hades. 

"If you dont mind me asking, what were you doing up on the surface?" Bella asked curiously. She wanted to ask more about Persephone and why she mad Hades so angry, but she didnt think it was such a good idea.  

Hades sighed. "i was...looking for someone to be Nico's mother figure," He replied. Nico's eyes shot up and had a scared look. 

"but dad" nico started to say. 

"Nico, no one can replace your mother, but you need a mother figure. we both know Persephone wasnt mother material. I am not going to make the same mistake again Ok?" hades explained with a sigh. 

Nico looked down at his food and stabbed at it. 

"did she....did Persephone...hurt him" Bella asked staring down at the table as she pieced together their reactions and what she knew from what little they spoke. 

She didnt want to look up, she couldnt. She was trembling at the thought of someone hurting a child. 

she heard Hades sigh as Nico ran from the room. 

"he still isnt fully recovered" Hades said sadly. Bella looked up as anger shot through her. 

"That...is exactly why i wish to join the BAU" Bella said tearfully. "please tell me she didnt get away with it!" She asked looking over at him. 

"with demeter as her mother and Zeus as her father...there isnt much that can be done" Hades explained. Bella stood up. 

"Bull shit! God's or not she shouldnt get away with hurting a child...much less yours!" Bella exclaimed.

"I am not even supposed to have Nico with me, Zeus forbade us from interacting with our children" Hades explained. 

"arent you older then him, Over rule him!" Bella exclaimed horrified. Hades looked down at his plate thoughtfully. Bella looked down the hall way where she saw Nico run and quickly made her way down the hall way. 

She looked around trying to find the dark haired boy, and faintly wondered if she had gotten her self lost. 

Hearing music blaring she followed it hoping that it would lead to Nico. Coming up to a room where the music was the loudest she knocked on the door carefully before entering the room. 

She looked around ans saw Nico sitting on his bed. His room was dark just like the room that she had woken up in. 

"Nico," bella whispered seeing the tear filled red eyes. "you like music?" Bella said as she walked over to him. 

She watched as he hesitantly nods. She smiled and pulled out a Ipod that was in her pocket. She held it out to him. 

"I believe if you listen to the music someone listens to then you know more about the person. You dont have to listen to it...but you can. my door is always open should you need it" Bella explained.
