(3rd Person)

No one could describe the dread flowing through both Mineta and Yaoyorozu when they were paired up with two of the three students that could potentially kill them accidentally in a fight, they were almost tempted to forfeit straight away. However, Yaoyorozu and Mineta denied those fears, they pushed them back as they knew they were screwed in physical terms, however, they were the villains, that gave them the advantage considering they could plan so far ahead that their combined intellect would allow them to pull off a win without a confrontation.

Meanwhile, Sofia and (Y/N) looked over at their opponents, studying them just from the first appearance. From what Sofia remembers: Yaoyorozu got in through recommendation, like the other student Todoroki, from that alone she knew that Yaoyorozu had to be smart, therefore they'd use their intelligence. As for Mineta, the two instantly felt sorry for the poor girl as they recognised the boy's personality, would've been best if he was paired with a male so that he wouldn't get distracted by his... fantasies.

Sofia: So... in short, our opponents are two smart alecks that will definitely set traps to try and slow us down, the looks on their faces say they've basically given up in fighting so they'll resort to trying to keep us away from the bomb.

(Y/N) nodded in agreement, watching as All Might led the two away while looking back, he instantly realised they were supposed to follow as the four of them were led to one of the many buildings in the training grounds. Along the way, Wyn could hear Yaoyorozu start to mumble, thinking of a plan supposedly as Mineta just kept looking ahead with a fearful gaze.

Sofia: So... even though we outmatch them easily in strength, what will we do about their traps?

(Y/N) pulls out the notebook and pen once more.

(Y/N): 'If they're going to use traps to slow us down, they'll eventually create a trap or possibly a blockade that'll stop us from getting there. I witnessed their quirks during the test yesterday, one can create objects from her body, the other can pull sticky balls off his head'.

Sofia: A perverted moron with a quirk that has to do with sticky balls... why am I not surprised?

Mineta grew even more fearful at hearing that, he could now confirm that Sofia was staring at him in anger from his personality alone, he was fearful of even looking at her considering the second he tries he'll most likely end up in a morgue.

All Might: We have arrived! As for the rules, they follow as such: no murder, no attacks that would seriously injure the other party... oh! And the villains get a headstart to set up traps in the buildings, I shall inform both the villains and the heroes when the training exercise begins! Now! Remember to do your best! Plus ultra!!!

The villains went to walk inside... only to hear All Might's parting words...

All Might: Oh, and Young (L/N) and Yuko... please refrain from using too much of your strength, we'd rather not deal with two deaths this early into the school year.

That caused Yaoyorozu and Mineta to shiver, running inside as fast as they could so that they could start on the traps that will save their lives, careers, futures... you name it, (Y/N) and Sofia might accidentally destroy it even if they hold back. Sofia smirked at seeing the fearful opponents basically getting as far away from them as possible, (Y/N) however shook his head while staring disappointed at Sofia.

Sofia: Oh come on, it's fun when your opponents run away! Just makes me feel superior, confirming my power over them! You may not be as good as me, but you come close so you should start feeling superior too! Don't even bring up that other one, he's definitely weaker than both of us.

(Y/N): 'Actually, in our early days we would constantly fight to a stalemate, there's never been a decisive victor in our spars, fights, matches, whatever you want to call them. We both even went all out once and that destroyed the entire surrounding area... and yet we came to a stalemate once again.'

Sofia: How long as it been since the two of you fought?

(Y/N): 'Well, considering we fought as training for getting into U.A, I'd say about two weeks ago was our last match, we both used 68% and destroyed the surroundings, but not as far as the 100% fight, and...'

Sofia: Heh, if what you say's true, then I've probably misjudged that Killa guy, I know his mother's the pro hero Carpenter, but he doesn't seem to own that kind of quirk... right?

(Y/N): 'Nope, his quirk's called 'Call of the Wild', he can channel the attributes of any animal he can think of... so long as he's met them up close.'

Sofia: I see... that's quite the interesting quirk, did he perhaps get it from his father?

(Y/N): 'I don't know, I've never met Mark's Dad, only his Mom.'

Sofia: So... Killa and I are in the same boat...

Before (Y/N) could question what that meant, Sofia quickly covered that statement up with another question.

Sofia: And you? What's your quirk?

(Y/N): 'Why do you want to know our quirks all of a sudden?'

Sofia: Well, from what Aizawa and All Might told us yesterday, we three will be spending practically all our lives together thanks to those roles they've assigned to us! Quite frankly, I don't mind you since you look like you can handle yourself, as for Killa, I don't...

(Y/N): 'If you're about to say: you don't even know him, you don't know me either.'

Sofia: True, however, the difference between you and him is that I know you can give me a challenge... as for Killa, with his quirk as well maybe he can give me a challenge. Now... I asked a question earlier (L/N).

(Y/N): 'You first Yuko.'

Sofia: Fine... my quirk is known as Perfect Mimic: if I can make eye contact with someone, I'll be able to copy down their genetics, blood type, quirk, you name it, I can replicate it into a clone that I'll need to create from my spit... the only weakness with the quirk is if I can't make eye contact with that person, I can't make the clone... and the fact that even if the clone can use the original's quirk, it only lasts for two minutes.

(Y/N): 'That's a powerful quirk though, you could look someone like All Might in the eyes can then power through every enemy'.

Sofia: Yeah, I know, about Killa's quirk... any weaknesses?

(Y/N): 'Only that he can only choose one animal at a time and that he has to meet this animal face to face.'

Luckily, (Y/N) was spared of explaining his quirk as All Might loudly announced it was time for the heroes to enter the building. So, with sighs, the two entered, lowering their power as much as possible while (Y/N) pulled on his fingerless gloves so that they'd tighten and fit more on his wrists.

Sofia: Since they set traps, we can't blindly run in even with our speed. Meaning...

(Y/N): 'We'll have to go slowly, making sure our next step isn't one that'll lead to being defeated or captured.'

And with that final message, (Y/N) pocketed his notebook and pen once again so that he can fully concentrate. Sofia rolled her eyes, taking another step as she heard something snapping, she looked down to see a broken tripwire.

Sofia: So, they're going to even set traps down here, huh?

As she said that, both (Y/N) and Sofia used their speed to make it to the end of the hallway just as a bunch of purple balls came from the ceiling, sticking to the floor.

Sofia: Even if that little bastard's perverted, his quirk is still the perfect thing to capture people... and that Yaoyorozu, her quirk will be troublesome since we don't know how much items she can create... but there has to be something she uses from her body to make things... what I mean is: since we don't know the limits of their quirks, we don't know what kind of traps they've set.

Just as Sofia said that, (Y/N) grabbed her back, pushing her forward and away from another trap she would've tripped. She looked back, only to go wide-eyed at seeing what looked like a mine on the floor.

Sofia: That wouldn't kill us... but anyone else would've been blown to bits, is she crazy or something?

(Y/N) shook his head, punching the wall next to him so that it would crumble to pieces as he grabbed a bit of rubble and threw it at the landmine. As soon as the landmine was activated, there was a large spark of electricity that appeared where a potential victim would've been.

Sofia: An electric mine? Where... no wait, I don't even want to know how she knows to create that.

The two continued onward, coming across stairs that were of course trapped... I mean, you can't blame the two for setting so many traps that would trap or kill most people: this is a guy and girl who could possibly destroy the human body with one punch we're talking about. Most people would've been too fearful to go against them, at least they're trying to slow them down.

Sofia: Heh, I got a feeling that bomb's on the top floor, right? So... what if...

Sofia went to punch above her, only for (Y/N) to grab her arm, stopping her quickly and shaking his head disapprovingly, then quickly pull out his notebook and pen again.

(Y/N): 'If this were real life you could've possibly attacked the bomb and killed everyone in the building'.

Sofia: I suppose that's true... heroes shouldn't kill right? What a stupid rule, what about the villains that constantly cause trouble and even when they're captured still affect the world? What about the murderers who kill without a second thought? Do we just tell the families that we captured the killer but only plan to keep in confinement? Not punish him for his crimes?

(Y/N) just put his notebook back in his pocket, not wanting to answer as they still had a time limit to work against and would only waste time by standing there arguing about what a hero should do. The found another block of stairs... trapped again, only this time the trap was weaker as it was again a simple tripwire that would've caught them into a string trap.

Sofia: They're slowing down?

As they got closer and closer to the top, the frequent traps were no longer a thing... in fact, there was even a floor with no traps on it at all which confused the two. They then spotted a door with light coming out of it.

Sofia: That must be where they're hiding with the bomb... alright, let's go for a fight.

However, instead of opening the door, Sofia nodded towards (Y/N) who nodded back before Sofia reared her fist back. And (Y/N) quickly held up a hand to block it with his fingers spread, when Sofia's fist connected with (Y/N)'s hand. A large amount of pressure kicked up from the fist being slammed into, tearing the door off its hinges and slamming into the ground. It revealed a wide-eyed Yaoyorozu who looked like she was barely hanging on, Mineta was also not looking good as his head was bleeding.

Sofia: Huh, why's your head bleeding shrimp? Did you tear off too many or something? Because it sure as hell didn't look like that amount on the first floor, which means...

(Y/N) leapt through the doorway, purposely tripping all the string they had at the door, he managed to get inside just as the doorway was filled with the purple balls. Trapping Sofia on the other side.

Yaoyorozu: Well... at least... we managed... to separate them...

She was panting with every word, (Y/N) looked at the two an indifferent expression. Yaoyorozu went to use her quirk, but suddenly fell to her knees, gasping out as Mineta went wide-eyed going to grab the balls on his head despite the bleeding.

Mineta: Even if... that was our last resort, I won't go down...

He was cut off by (Y/N) appearing in front of him, slamming a fist into the boy's stomach making him cough up a massive amount of spit as he went flying through the ball trap, making them fly everywhere while (Y/N) easily dodged any that were heading towards him. Sofia stood in the doorway with an amused look.

Sofia: You see? These two aren't exactly good when it comes to us, they have no chance against our strength, so why bother?

Yaoyorozu: Don't... you know?

Sofia: Huh?

Yaoyorozu: When a hero... is against danger... that they cannot win against... that means they have... more of a reason... to fight... and prove themselves... stronger than... their enemy thinks.

(Y/N) blinked in surprise at that, despite her weakened state from probably overusing her quirk, Yaoyorozu was standing, still wanting to fight... couldn't say the same for Mineta who was out cold from (Y/N)'s punch... even if he went at 3%.

Sofia: Defiant to the end, aren't you?

To everyone's horror, Sofia raised a fist at the weakened Yaoyorozu, even if she held back, in Yaoyorozu's state, this punch will definitely kill her.

All Might: Young Yuko!!! Don't you dare...

However, she didn't listen as she went to punch her opponent. Yaoyorozu, however, stood defiantly with her eyes glaring at Sofia... but luckily, (Y/N) was there in time as he appeared between the two, blocking the attack with his chest since blocking it with his arm or hand could cause a massive pressure that would still heavily injure the girl.

Sofia: What're you...?

Sofia was surprised when she suddenly felt something wrap around her... she looked to see the capture tape they were provided earlier, she was clearly confused, that was until she saw the same tape around Mineta and Yaoyorozu.

All Might: Training exercise finished!! Hero Team wins!

Sofia: What!?

(Timeskip)

As Yaoyorozu and Mineta were healed, everyone was brought back to where the others were waiting, some were even glaring at Sofia for that questionable act.

All Might: I have two things to say: Young Yuko, that behaviour and act were unheroic, your attack would've killed Young Yaoyorozu if it had connected, as punishment, you are to attend extra lessons on what the do's and don'ts of a hero are.

Sofia growled, looking away with her arms crossed and mumbling about how they shouldn't be here if they're so weak.

All Might: Secondly, after watching that rather uneventful match, I've decided to name Young (L/N) the MVP! Would anyone care to answer why?

Surprisingly, it was Yaoyorozu who spoke up.

Yaoyorozu: Out of everyone on the field, he was the only one who thought rationally, taking this seriously as if it was a real mission. Mineta and I overused our quirks too early on out of fear, wasting a chance for us to stop them should they have gotten to the bomb, Yuko was instantly classified as a villain due to her actions, hence why (L/N) taped her up. Most of all, after seeing the footage, he also acted the most heroic: stopping Yuko whenever she could've potentially killed everyone by attacking above, sacrificing himself to take the trap, saving me even though I was meant to be a villain. And most of all: he was able to recognise when his ally turned into an enemy and thought quickly: capturing all three villains...

All Might: That is absolutely correct!! Young (L/N) showed today that in a serious situation, he could be counted on to safely pull this mission off, there was even the unexpected twist of Young Yuko becoming a villain and he reacted quickly and effectively, dare I say, Young (L/N) is already showing off the true attributes of a hero!!!

Mark: Hehehe, I knew you'd be praised... told ya your quirk doesn't define you.

All Might: Now, there is still the urgent matter of getting Young Mineta and Yaoyorozu to the infirmary, I've done all I can with the equipment on hand, however I'm sure Recovery Girl will do a much better job than myself... Young (L/N), I'm counting on you to get the two to safety.

(Y/N) nodded, looking towards the two before gesturing with his hand to follow him as all three headed to the infirmary.

All Might: Now then... for the next match...

(With (Y/N))

As they walked, (Y/N) noticed Yaoyorozu was constantly looking away, then looking back at him while opening her mouth, but then stopping herself again. (Y/N) stopped to look back at her, a confused look.

Yaoyorozu: Oh! I... I just wanted to say, thank you for saving me from Yuko, even if she was your partner, you didn't hesitate to turn her in... that's exactly what a hero needs I believe: a will of iron that never wavers even for friends...

(Y/N) thought on those words for a bit, before turning around and telling them to follow him again... although, those words were still going through his head... she believes that's what a hero should have? But... is that all a hero needs to be called a hero?

(A/N): Honestly, who expected a fight scene? The two would've been murdered by (Y/N) and Sofia if they ever fought, that's why instead I made it so they panicked and used their quirks up too early, shitty I know, but, with powerful characters like (Y/N) and Sofia as your opponents, no one would be thinking straight, not even Momo.
