   You and Dave soon arrived to the new and popular ice rink that was recently established just two months ago, and the two of you were definitely excited. Well, mostly you.

   After all, all your friends with their significant others have come as well; Henry and Ellie, Charles and a girl with dark-green hair, Sven and Ibuki (Sven now works for the government to pay back what he has done as a Toppat), and Reginald and RHM (They aren't a couple, but they seem like an old one! And just how did they get here?!).

   The two of you cheerfully made your way over to the ice rink, your face being bright and optimistic, while Dave was just as nervous as always. You noticed your other friends have arrived, but right now, you wanted to focus on Dave.

  "I'm sooo excited! It's been a while since I've skated, but I can do it! What about you, Dave?" You asked, your face lighting up like a firework show.

  "Oh, yeah," Dave looked at you, a little bit of anxiety hiding beneath his eyes, "If you're happy, then I'm happy. But to be honest, I'm kind of scared. I've never ice-skated before, but you make it sound so easy..."

  "Oh ice-skating's not that hard once you get used to it," You began, walking towards the entrance once the two of you heard your names. "But trust me, if your new, it's pretty hard. especially since you have to balance yourself well. I'll help you though!"

  Dave smiled, looking down/up at you while holding your hand. "Thanks. You really are a beacon of comfort."

   Once you and Dave entered the ice rink, you were blasted by a wave of refreshing, ice-cold air, and you saw your friends all having fun with one another. Henry and Ellie were taking it easy and talking, but Henry for some reason had some blue cap on and was tossing ice balls out of no where to entertain Ellie; Sven and Ibuki were showing off to each other, but Sven was desperately trying to keep Ibuki from tripping; Charles and the dark-green haired girl were slow-dancing; And Reginald and Right Hand Man were hiding and skating with the other side-characters in the background.

   You jumped to the ice and performed a small ice-skating trick you remembered, and managed to finish it off stylishly. Dave gave you a big smile and clapped, impressed by your move.

  "That was so cool Y/N," He exclaimed, looking down at the other ice. "Maybe... I can do that as well..."

   But immediately when Dave slid onto the ice, he almost face-planted, but managed to catch himself on one of the railings, shock and fear was stricken across his face.

  "Shit shit f*ck!" Dave exclaimed as he slid out onto the ice, slipping on his feet before finally catching himself on a railing. "I-I never thought it'd be THIS hard to skate!"

   You giggled slightly and slid over to Dave with a small, comforting smile on your face. He looked up to you, his cheeks burning and his eyes then become somewhat dazed, almost as if he was... amazed or lost in thought. Oh, Reginald slipped by, yelling as Henry, Charles, the girl with green hair, Ellie and Ibuki chased after him while Right Hand Man was sleep-standing in the background and Sven was chasing after Ibuki.

  "It's alright," You began, grabbing his hand gently as to not scare him. "I can help you skate if you'd like. We can always leave."

   Dave shook his head at you, your E/C (Eye Color) Eyes locking with his sincere gray eyes. You could tell he was much more calmer and happier with you.

   You could remember the day you saved him from the Toppats' clutches, that day, his eyes were layered with anxiety and despair, he would never speak unless asked to and would lash out whenever the Toppats were even slightly mentioned. But now... his eyes were full of bright hope.

  "No, I don't want to leave yet," He then hugged you softly, making sure not to make any sudden movements to not send you or him off-balance. "I want you to be happy. So... can you teach me the basics?"

  You smiled. "Of course!"

   That day, you taught Dave the basics of ice-skating, and how to skate with a partner as well. Everyone in the ice rink enjoyed themselves to the fullest, besides Reginald and Right Hand Man, who were then caught by the police and quickly arrested.

   You could still hear everyone's happy exclamations...

  "If you catch me Svenny, I'll show you my ultra ultimate amazing secret!" Ibuki said, spinning around on the ice as her twin-drills glistened beneath the sun.

  "Ibuki! Be careful! You might trip and get frostbite!" Sven called out to her, before cursing multiple swears in Swedish before falling to the ground.

  "So Ellie, what do you suppose we do after this?" Henry asked, winking in a sly way for some reason. "I was wondering if we could get some ramen after this."

  "Oh for sure! This time, I'm getting Kitsune Udon, and no stealing the condiments or else!" Ellie scolded him as the two slid across the ice.

  "...Hey Y/N," You looked over at Dave as the two of you left the rink.

  "What is it?" You asked him, your face as cheerful as always.

  "Since you taught me how to ice-skate... I want to teach you how to play some of my games. Is... that okay?"

  "Really?! I'd love to! Let's head over at your's right now!"
