[1st Reader POV, angsty as hell... This one will also be a bit hard considering I'm basing this after canon events. Might be short since this ending is a bit small. Let's hope this is good. Hope you enjoy!]

   There was a sudden loud explosion, along with a small quake, making Henry and I suddenly fly into the base. We then opened our eyes to see none other than Charles, being his reckless self. Did he just smash that prototype into the base?!

  "Charles, are you okay!" I got up and ran over to him, Henry shortly following me.

  He rubbed his head and looked up at me with a spunky smirk. "I've always wanted to do that."

   Oh crap, I almost forgot! Introductions! Man, I'm really bad at remembering stuff.

   My name is Y/N Stickmin, I'm Henry's older cousin. I know it may not look like that since I am shorter than him, but hey, Henry's the tallest guy I know anyways.

   When I heard Henry died, I seriously freaked. But then I got a weird feeling in my stomach that told me that there's no be dead just like that. So I took a trip to a place near The Wall, and guess who I found?

   Henry! And my childhood BFF, Charles! I just happened to walk in on them talking, and man, were they happy to see me.

   About Charles... Him and I go way back, way back into 8th grade even. He was a really charming guy, and at first, I just thought of him as a really fun and open-minded friend.

   But... Things changed when I became a sophomore. I couldn't stop thinking of him, and the thought of us being together... Gave me butterflies. Jeez I-I really need to calm down...

   I knew after this mission I was going to tell him my feelings, but... Something happened that made my world crumble to pieces. Hell, I still need a therapy pet.

   Well, time to continue.

  "Now that I've damaged the core, the three of us should find a way outta here." Charles said as Henry helped him up silently.

  "Look, we can run over there." I said, pointing towards the core's exit.

   The three of us quickly ran over to the exit without looking back, and soon the door behind us slammed shut. Another door was in front of us, and Charles attempted to open it, but sadly with no avail.

   Also, Charles looked pretty beat up there. Even his headphones were busted. I hoped he was alright.

  "Agh, it's closed shut, I can't open it!" Charles pushed multiple buttons, but the door wouldn't budge.

   I looked to Henry, and he thought for a moment before making a sound, pointing towards a small vent.

  "Ah, a vent! Good job Henry," I congratulated him. "Looks like we can crawl through here and get to another place. C'mon boys, let's go."

   Henry and Charles looked at each other before nodding, Charles looked determined, while Henry kept a serious face. We all crawled through the dusty old vent, while Charles was singing a small tune.

   He was always so cute.

   I heard Charles open the vent in front of me, and saw a small glimpse of what looked to be Tophat Grunts running across the floor, possibly going to escape.

   Yeah, pretty sure that's what their name is. Tophat, right? Hopefully I'm right, since I'm really bad at remembering stuff.

  "Coast's clear everyone, let's go." Soon, all three of us crawled out of the vent, and followed the Tophat's footsteps.

   We came to an area that had three escape dods, er... Pods, one had "LUX URY" written on it, one was beat up, and another was completely spotless. I supposed we could go for the spotless one since the "LUX URY" one must have Tophat members.

   But before I could say anything, Denny, er-Henry pointed at the beat up escape pod. I wanted to argue with him... But I felt like he was right. There was this time when we were in... Ugh, my brain's blank... Oh that's right, high school, and he chose something that looked unsafe, but saved us 100%.

   He's like a fortune teller.

  "You sure, Henry?" Charles asked him. I put my hand on Charles's shoulder, which I think made him flinch. I think...

  "I'm sure he is, he's my cousin after all!" I said confidently with a little bit of poise.

  He stared at me for a spell before nodding and smiling brightly. "Alright, Y/N."

   I could never forget that moment.

   Henry tapped the button to the escape pod a few times before slapping it, (Hopefully he didn't break it. I remember him having a lot of strength.) and the three of us walked in.

  "Well... That was intense," Charles sighed with relief. "Can't wait to go ho-"

   Suddenly I felt my body being thrown away onto the ground by a... Tophat Grunt.

   At that moment, my life flashed through my eyes, until I heard Charles call out my name.

  "Y/N!" Charles ran out and stunned the Tophat Grunt, and threw me into the pod with my cousin. The pod entrance immediately closed before Charles could even get in.

  "Ch-Charles!" I cried out, running over to the small window.

  Charles looked at me with a worried expression as he threw the Tophat Grunt's face onto the pod's window. "D-don't worry about me, Y/N! I'll find another way-"

   The pod blasted off before Henry and I could even respond. Panic took control of my body, making my head turn into a raging storm.

  "Charles?!" I called out, beginning to hyperventilate. (Oh no. He can't- He can't be dead.) Suddenly, our earmics perked up, which comforted me slightly.

  "Henry? Y-Y/N? You there?" He asked. Relief seeped into my body. 

  "Yes, yes, yes I'm here!" I said instantly.

  "Ah, good. I was so worried about you Y/- t-two." He stuttered. Why was he about to say my name?

  "Man... That roughed me up. Hopefully, there's another escape pod somewhere... All of 'em are gone here... Ngah..." No more escape pods...? That sent a chill down my spine.

  "We did it though, greatest plan ever," He began, before holding his breath for a moment. "B-by the way Y/N, I never got to tell you this but... I really lik-"

   The Tophat Space Base abruptly exploded, killing Charles and every other Tophat member. My heart dropped. Everything fell to pieces. Everything was gone. Everything. Gone.

  "CHARLES! CHARLES!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, my head turning into a giant tsunami.

   Henry looked shocked at first, before looking down at his feet and walking over to me.

  "He was truly the greatest planner, wasn't he..." He said heavily.

  I sniffed. "He was... And I loved him... But now he's.."

  "... I'm sure he's happy now. He did feel the same way after all."

  "H-he... did?"
