Catelyn pov
I was catching up with the gang.

I had gone to a seminar and had apparently missed a big case for my precinct.

Liv was telling me about the new ADA who she didn't seem to mind that much. I smiled and spoke.
"So he's good?"
"Yeah. Seems like it." Elliot spoke.
"Good? He got the perp to completely drop his charade and show his true nature. He's the best ADA I've met." I laughed and shook my head.
"And that's a compliment coming from you."
"Oh shut up." I laughed and Liv smiled. El rolled his eyes.
"Smart ass."
"I know I am. What is your point?" He snorted and shook his head. Fin spoke.
"How's Jamie?"
"Alright. He's nervous bout bein a beat cop."
"We all got to start somewhere." Amanda said. I nodded then put a hand to my necklace.

El noticed and spoke.
"How have things been?" I sighed and spoke.
"Alright. Still feels like we're gonna see him any minute but that will probably go away." El nodded and Liv gave me a sympathetic look. Cap came in and spoke.
"Liv. Cate. ADA Barba wants to see you both about the latest case." I nodded and grabbed my coat. Liv and I left for the ADA's office.

When we got there we went in and we're shown in immediately.
"Benson. Good to see you again." The man said.

"Barba. This is detective Reagan. She's been away for a seminar." I smiled at the man and he smiled back.
"Nice to meet you. Any relation to Erin Reagan?"
"My sister."
"Ah. So tell me about this latest case." Liv and I sat down and we talked for a bit about the case.

Liv left to answer a phone call and I stayed behind.
"So you know Erin."
"Mmmm. She's a good prosecutor." I chuckled and spoke.
"She is a Reagan." Barba smiled.
"Yes you Reagans are quite good at what you do." I smiled and leaned back. We talked some more before Liv came back in.
"I'm going to head back. Cat?"
"Nah. I'm gonna go see if I can find my sister." Liv nodded and left. I looked at Barba.
"Any chance you know where my sister is?" He smiled and spoke.
"I think she's in her office right now." I nodded and spoke.
"Thank you. Have a good day Barba."
"You as well Reagan."

I found Erin in her office.
"Hey Erin."
"Hey Cat. What are you doing here?"
"Well. I had to bring the new ADA up to speed on a case."
"Barba? He's pretty good."
"Yeah. He seems good." Erin looked at me and grinned.
"Rumor has it he and his partner are looking for a third."
"Erin!" She chuckled and spoke.
"Come on. You never have that look on your face with any of my other coworkers." I groaned and put my head down.
"I literally hate you right now. You suck." Erin chuckled and spoke.
"Come on Cat. I know you. You like him."
"Literally shut up. I can't just do as I please anymore. I have Keanna to think about." Erin looked at me.
"I didn't mean one night. Come on Catelyn. I wasn't joking. The rumors are pretty strong that Barba and his partner want a third person in their relationship. Honestly you probably couldn't find two better men to be fathers." I sighed and spoke.
"I got to go. I'll see you later Erin."

Three months later
It had been three months since I came home and met Rafael Barba. I had even met his boyfriend, Dr. Frederick Chilton.

I was walking around with Kea.

We were getting stuff for her birthday. I couldn't believe my little girl was going to be six. It seems like just yesterday she was a small baby.

I smiled as I watched her point out things.
"Mom! Can we get this?!" She pointed to a small stuffed police dog. I chuckled and spoke.
"Sure sweetie." She lit up and grabbed it.

After shopping we went to go eat. Kea talked about her birthday excitedly and who was invited when my name was called. I looked up and saw Rafael there with Frederick of course. I smiled and spoke.
"Hello." They both greeted me then Rafael spoke.
"Who is this?" Kea put her hands on her hips and spoke.
"I'm Keanna Maiti Reagan. This is my mom." I sighed and shook my head. Danny was so dead later. Rafael chuckled and bent down.
"I'm Rafael and this Frederick."
"Do you work with mom?"
"In a way. I'm a prosecutor and Fred is a psychiatrist."
"Oh. You're like aunt Erin."
"I am." Kea lit up and spoke.
"Can you join us?" I chuckled at my daughter. Fredrick spoke up.
"I think that's up to your mom." Kea stared at me and I smiled. I ruffled her hair and spoke.
"Sure. Sit down you two." They sat down and Rafael spoke.
"What are you two ladies doing?" Kea giggled.
"Getting stuff for my birthday. It's in two weeks and I'm going to be six."
"Well then you're almost a grown up."
"No silly! I still have a lot of growing to do. My cousin Nicky is seventeen and she's almost grown up." I watched with a smile as my daughter interacted with the two men. Maybe Erin wasn't so far off when she told me those months ago that they would make good fathers.

Once we all finished we went out and talked. One thing was for sure. These two men may be just what I need.
