"FIGURED I WOULD FIND THE BOTH OF YOU HERE."

Both Kokonoi and Inui looked forward to see Keiji walking towards them wearing his Toman uniform—which was unbuttoned and he was also shirtless, and holding a clear umbrella over his head.

"Eiji. What are you doing here?" Inui asked.

"No need to be so hostile, Sei-chan. I can't wish a Merry Christmas to my old childhood friends?" Keiji shot back. "Besides, I'm shocked you're still friends even after—"

"Stop talking." Kokonoi interjected.

Keiji chuckled. "Yikes. Hit a nerve. My apologizes, Koko-chan." He apologized sincerely.

"Are you gonna get to the point of why you're here?"

"There's gonna be a big brawl today. Hakkai's planning on killing Taiju, and Michi, Chifuyu, Kisaki, Hanma, and I formed a secret plan to stop him, without the other Toman admins knowing." Keiji answered.

"Why are you telling us this?" Inui questioned.

"To be quite honest, I don't know." Keiji responded as he turned around to leave. "They're going to be at the church. Do whatever you want with that information."

Kokonoi and Inui watched Keiji's retreating figure. "Eiji sure is strange." Inui commented.

"Hasn't he always been like that?" Kokonoi questioned, making Inui hum in agreement.

Keiji eventually met up with Takemichi, Chifuyu, Kisaki, and Hanma.

"We can't depend on Mikey-kun this time. Or Draken-kun! Or Mitsuya-kun! We can't ask anyone else in Toman for help. Only the five of us can fight this battle!" Takemichi told himself.

"To the battlefield!"

The group eventually made it to the church. "This is it..." Takemichi announced.

"Can you stick to the plan?!" Kisaki questioned.

"Yeah. I'll go reason with Hakkai, who should already be in the church... while you guys ambush Taiju." Takemichi responded.

"Takemitchy. I know beating Taiju's important... but if you can just persuade Hakkai, then that'll change our future!" Chifuyu informed. "I'm counting on you!"

"Yeah!" Takemichi agreed. "I got this!"

Takemichi then turned to face Keiji. "Keiji-kun." He simply said.

"I know, Michi. I'll be careful. I'm not gonna die." Keiji promised. Takemichi just nodded as he headed inside of the church.

"The hell you starin' at Takemitchy?" Chifuyu asked as Takemichi turned around.

"Chifuyu?!"

"Hey, I'm here, too." Keiji added in a bored tone.

"Chifuyu, Keiji-kun, you're okay?!" Takemichi exclaimed.

"Kisaki and Hanma turned against Keiji-kun and I and tied us up... and Mitsuya-kun saved us." Chifuyu said.

"Mitsuya-kun did?" Takemichi repeated. "But... Why's Mitsuya-kun even here?"

"I called him." Chifuyu answered.

"Huh?"

"So Kisaki couldn't outsmart us." Chifuyu explained.

"Outsmart?" Takemichi repeated. "You idiot! You ruined the peace agreement!"

"The peace agreement had nothing to do with us. Our goal is to keep the Black Dragons out of Toman, right? Mitsuya-kun's the one who made the peace agreement. Everyone'll understand if he breaks his own agreement." Chifuyu informed.

Mitsuya then kneeled on the ground. "Taka-chan!" Hakkai shouted out.

"What's wrong, Mitsuya? I've only up to using 70% of my power." Taiju taunted.

"Ah? Don't talk like you've got the advantage." Mitsuya claimed as he stood up. "A strap on my boot came loose, that's all."

"Don't Taka-chan! You can't win! You can't beat him!" Hakkai warned. Mitsuya ignored him as he headed towards Taiju.

"What's wrong with you, Taka-chan?!"

Taiju swung his fist at Mitsuya's face. "I thought you were smart! You don't fight pointless battles like this! He's bigger and older than you! You don't have anything that'll help you win!" Hakkai exclaimed.

"Hey, shut up for a sec, Hakkai." Chifuyu spoke.

"Ah?!"

"Don't you get it?! He's being stubborn." Chifuyu informed. "Because you're watching."

This grabbed Hakkai's attention. "Mitsuya-kun's a clever dude. He can estimate what will happen. He's putting himself on the line... 'cause he knows what he's doing! For your sake!" Chifuyu finished.

"Taka-chan..." Hakkai thought.

"Mitsuya-kun's not gonna lose." Takemichi declared.

"Yeah! No way he'll lose!" Chifuyu agreed.

"You're a tough bastard. I'm gettin' tired... so it's time we finished this." Taiju claimed. "Right, Inui?"

Inui appeared behind Mitsuya. "Taka-chan!" Hakkai shouted out.

"Beat down." Inui said before he swung the metal pipe on Mitsuya's head, causing him to collapse to the ground.

"Taka-chan!"

"Well? Did my info help?" Kokonoi stepped into the room. "Was it worth 100,000?"

Hakkai kept calling out Mitsuya's name. "What now, Takemichi?! Taka-chan, he's—!"

"Of course, he is. I swung as hard as I could." Inui informed as Taiju laughed.

"That's my Inui!" He praised. "Now let's beat the rest of 'em to death!"

"What the fuck did you just do..."

"...you son of a bitch?!"

This caused Taiju to laugh some more. "Bring it on, you little shits!" He taunted.

"Taka-chan! What do we do, Takemitchy?! Taka-chan... Taka-chan's not moving!" Hakkai exclaimed.

"Black Dragons! You're gonna pay for this, you assholes!"

"Guys, wait!"

"Huh?" Takemichi said as him and Chifuyu turned around. "Mitsuya-kun!"

"I'm all right." Mitsuya reassured. "So cool it, would ya?"

Mitsuya then collapsed back down. "Taka-chan?! Don't overdo it!" Hakkai exclaimed.

"Takemitchy, Chifuyu." Mitsuya said their names. "Calm down and listen carefully."

"Okay!"

"The situation looks hopeless. Taiju's a total beast, and the other two're probably insanely strong." Keiji hums in agreement. "Compared to them... Chifuyu, you're beat up. And I can't move, to be honest. Keiji, you probably don't want to fight your friends."

"Huh? How did you—" Keiji widened his eyes.

"You didn't follow Takemitchy and Chifuyu, so it was a lucky guess." Mitsuya replied. "Takemitchy, you're the only one of us still in fighting shape. But if we lose here... something even worse will happen to Yuzuha. She might even get killed."

"Don't worry! Mikey-kun and the others will come to help!" Takemichi reassured. "So we just have to hold out 'til then. Once they're here, it'll all work out!"

"Takemitchy. Did you... call Mikey?" Mitsuya asked.

"Huh? You didn't call him, Mitsuya-kun?" Takemichi questioned.

"I came here alone to help Hakkai. For personal reasons that had nothing to do with Toman." Mitsuya answered. "The four of us have to protect Yuzuha."

"We're dead." Takemichi thought, dropping to the ground. "It's over... there's no way we can win. When Mitsuya-kun showed up, I just got a little bit hopeful. I thought, "Toman's coming to our rescue!" That's why I believed I could I could tough it out..."

"Get up, Takemitchy! I'm kinda disappointed, too. But with the way things are now... we've got no other choice but to handle this ourselves!" Chifuyu informed.

"There's no way in hell we can handle this! I'm the only one who's not all beat up!" Takemichi cried out. "Are you sayin' I have to take on those three alone? That's impossible."

"Takemitchy. I'm not tryin' to put all this on your shoulders. If you, Chifuyu, and Keiji can keep those other two outta the way... then I'll take care of Taiju!" Mitsuya declared.

"You're way too messed up to do that, Mitsuya-kun!" Chifuyu stated.

"Yeah. I've got no chance by myself." Mitsuya agreed. "Mind helping me out? Hakkai!"

Takemichi glanced over. "You're a Black Dragon member right now. So you don't have to help us fight... But Yuzuha... Hakkai, lend me a hand... so we can save Yuzuha!" Mitsuya continued on.

"I..." Hakkai paused.

"I know Taiju's scary as hell. And I know you haven't been able to fight back! But... you still managed... to protect Yuzuha all this time! Don't worry! I know you have what it takes to beat Taiju!"

"Taka-chan... that's not..."

"Hakkai! You will, right?" Mitsuya asked.

Takemichi suddenly screamed before smacking himself. "Sorry for whining so much! That was real pathetic of me!" He exclaimed.

"I don't blame you."

"Not in this situation."

"Let's do this, Takemichi." Chifuyu said.

"Yeah! But be careful, Chifuyu. You too, Keiji-kun." Takemichi told the two.

"I'll take birthmark boy. Takemitchy, you take the black-haired one with Keiji-kun." Chifuyu said. "The black-haired guy's the one who sold us the info about Taiju. If Taiju's at a disadvantage, he's probably the type to back off."

"Yeah. I figured that, too." Takemichi agreed.

"We just have to hold out until Mitsuya-kun and Hakkai beat Taiju. Can ya do it?!"

"Yeah!"

"Let's go!"

"Damn it!" Chifuyu exclaimed.

Takemichi screamed as he grabbed onto Kokonoi. "Whoa, whoa. You gonna keep on clingin'?" Kokonoi asked.

"Holding him back's the best I can do. Chifuyu was beaten up to begin with." Takemichi told himself.

"Mitsuya-kun! Hakkai! I can't do this for long! So please hurry up!" Takemichi shouted out.

"Now I see. You're stalling for time." Kokonoi said.

"Don't worry, Hakkai. I know you can win against Taiju! Have faith in yourself!" Mitsuya said. "Let's do this, Hakkai!"

Taiju then began laughing. "Hakkai?" Mitsuya questioned, realizing he wasn't moving.

"I'm sorry, Taka-chan." Hakkai apologized.

"Mitsuya. What were you expecting from Hakkai?" Taiju asked before sending a punch towards Mitsuya.

"Mitsuya-kun!" Takemichi exclaimed.

Chifuyu was suddenly thrown to the ground. "Matsuno Chifuyu. I wanted to fight you when you were in better shape." Inui stated.

"Fuck!" Chifuyu exclaimed.

"Taiju!" Hakkai shouted, holding a knife. "I can... even I can! I'm gonna do it! I'm gonna kill you!"

Hakkai heads for Taiju, but Takemichi steps in front of him. "Outta my way, Takemichi!" Hakkai demanded.

Takemichi gripped onto the knife. "Don't you get it, Hakkai? If you go through with this... you'll become an irredeemable bastard! You know this isn't right! This isn't how you fight back... I'm gonna show you what it means... to fight back!" He claimed.

"Huh? Still haven't learned your lesson, you little shit?" Taiju asked.

"I "haven't learned my lesson"? That's my only redeeming quality." Takemichi replied.

"Let's go, Taiju!"

Taiju then swings at Takemichi. "Takemitchy!" Hakkai shouted out.

"I'm not done yet!"

Takemichi continued getting beaten by Taiju until his face was bloodied and bruised. "How many times do I have to punch you 'til your satisfied?" Taiju asked.

"Not gonna lose." Takemichi responded.

"Why... Why won't you give up? You're too weak for this!" Hakkai informed. "You've done enough! Please, just stop already!"

"That's enough... Takemitchy. You did your best. We lost this one." Chifuyu told him.

Takemichi clenched onto the necklace that was around his neck. "Hina... give me... courage... with a brother like him around... as long as the Black Dragons exist... Hakkai won't he able to stand up for himself. So..."

"Taiju... I'm gonna defeat you... and take control of the Black Dragons!" Takemichi declared.

His claim left everyone in shock. "Takemitchy." Chifuyu mumbled.

Taiju then continued beating Takemichi. "Stop it, Takemichi." Hakkai muttered.

"I'm not done yet!"

"You can't! You can't change anything!"

Takemichi got slammed to the ground before he got back up. "You're wrong... Hakkai. You're the one who won't change." He denied.

"I'm gonna change the future. I first swore to do that back when Akkun died. On those dirty alleyway steps... I felt like I had to shoulder the entire burden alone. I felt so anxious, afraid... and helpless. But... little by little... bit by bit... they all accepted me."

"You've done enough, Takemichi! You're gonna fucking die!" Chifuyu exclaimed.

"If I stand my ground here, the future still might not change. But if there's even the smallest chance..."

Both Takemichi and Taiju punched each other. "Tsk! Didn't even hurt..." Taiju claimed before falling to his knees.

"Even the smallest chance..."

"Takemichi... please... just stop, already."

"That I can change the future... then isn't it worth risking my life for? Hakkai... fighting on... isn't painful. What hurts more than anything..."

"...is loneliness."

This took Hakkai by surprise. "You can talk to me about anything... Hakkai. We're... friends, aren't we?" Takemichi questioned, causing Hakkai to tear up and fall to the ground.

"Takemitchy." Hakkai sobbed. "Please... help me."

"Leave it to me, Hakkai." Takemichi told him.

"He made the boss take a knee!"

"Toman's captains are just that badass!" Mitsuya claimed.

"Holy shit, partner." Chifuyu commented.

"Hakkai, the one you wanted to save... I'll protect Yuzuha for you!" Takemichi told him.

"You're wrong, Takemitchy. My... my face doesn't have a single bruise on it, right? Even though Yuzuha... Yuzuha's beaten and bloody." Hakkai sobbed out.

"I wanted to protect them. I wanted to... to protect Yuzuha. But... I don't have the guts... to stand up to Taiju."

"Huh?"

"Instead... I've been protected this whole time." Hakkai said. "I... lied to you."

"Huh?"

"The one who protected me... my family... was Yuzuha this whole time."

"Yuzuha?" Takemichi questioned. "Hakkai... so, you mean you were... always the one being protected? Everything you said about protecting her was a lie?!"

"I... told you what Yuzuha had done for me, but made it sound like I'd been doing it for her." Hakkai revealed.

"That's... really shitty of you." Chifuyu said.

"Lame." Inui commented.

"That's enough... Hakkai!" Yuzuha told him.

"Hey, young master. It's bad enough a girl took hits for ya. But lying about protecting her? Now that's low." Kokonoi claimed.

"Koko-chan, you of all people shouldn't be talking." Keiji told him, sending him a smug grin as Kokonoi shot daggers at him.

"It's none of your business! It's something I decided. None of this is Hakkai's fault!" Yuzuha shouted.

"Forgive me, Takemitchy. This all happened because of me. You all got dragged into this because I lied about it. When I was actually just so scared of Taiju that stabbing him was all I could do. All so I could run from my own weakness." Hakkai said.

"Hakkai. You suck!" Takemichi exclaimed, causing everyone to look at him. "But don't think you're... the only one who sucks. I sucked even more."

"Takemitchy."

"Yup... you really suck, Hakkai." Mitsuya joined in.

"Taka-chan."

"I told you not to hate the situation you were born into, like a show-off. But in reality, I really hated mine. Once, when I couldn't stand it anymore, I left my two little sisters and ran away from home. When I came back the next morning, my mom slapped me real good. Pretty lame, right?" Mitsuya continued on. "Then, mom gave me a hug. She cried and said, 'I'm sorry you have to put up with this.'"

Mitsuya then kneeled down. "Hakkai, you're not the only one who wants to run away." He confessed.

"We're all weak. We've got family. That's why... we won't abandon you... over a lie like that!" Takemichi declared. "That's what Toman's about!"

"We've gotta save Hakkai!" Takemichi shouted.

"Yeah!"

Hakkai caught Takemichi before he fell to the ground. "You okay, Takemitchy?" Hakkai asked.

"Yeah! Thanks!" Takemichi answered.

"I'm gonna protect Yuzuha if it's the last thing I do!" Hakkai claimed as him and Takemichi headed for Taiju.

Chifuyu collapsed to the ground. "Damn it! My leg's fucked, Takemitchy!" He said.

"I feel like I got the wind knocked outta me." Keiji mumbled as Mitsuya kneeled to the ground while breathing heavily.

"Sorry 'bout this, Takemitchy. Bet you're way past your limit by now." Hakkai stated.

"You're such an idiot... Hakkai. Now you'll end up losing everything." Taiju said.

"Shut the fuck up, you asshole. Learn your lesson in hell, shitbag. That'll wake you up." Hakkai spat back before he heard a sound in the distance.

"Haha. Now I'm starting to hear things." Hakkai continued on.

There was a faint sound of a motorcycle engine in the distance, grabbing everyone's attention.

"That sound." Takemichi muttered.

"It's Mikey's CB250T." Mitsuya finished.

"Mikey?!" Taiju exclaimed.

"What's the invincible Mikey doing here?" Kokonoi questioned.

"Koko-chan, I really thought you were smart. Is your head only filled with money?" Keiji shot back. "Jiro-chan's here to kick your sorry asses, obviously."

"Mikey-kun... is here? We're saved!" Takemichi thought as he stood up. "With Mikey-kun here... we can beat the Black Dragons!"

"You sure about that?" Mitsuya asked.

"Huh?"

"We're here in the first place because we chose to break the peace agreement... between Toman and the Black Dragons. What would Mikey think of that?" Mitsuya questioned.

Mikey then walked into the church. "Merry Christmas." He greeted as he smiled. "What are you guys doing... on a day like this?"

He finally took notice of Taiju, Kokonoi, and Inui. "The Black Dragons?" Mikey questioned.

"Mikey. I'm sorry. This is all my fault." Mitsuya replied.

"Taka-chan?!"

"I broke the peace agreement I made... with my own irresponsibility. We're fighting them now, as you can see." Mitsuya explained.

"My big bro recognized... the sound of your impulse..." Mikey began as Mitsuya let out a noise of confusion. "Then Baji said... "only Mitsuya's bike sounds that sweet!" Y' know?"

"Those two led me here." Mikey finished.

"Mikey? What... are you saying?" Mitsuya asked.

"You're fighting these three guys, right?"

"So, you're the "invincible Mikey," huh?" Taiju taunted.

"Why are you standing in my way?"

"Huh?"

"I just wanna ride with the guys again. If Mitsuya dies... then Baji and my big bro will be sad!" Mikey exclaimed.

"Mikey... you're..." Mitsuya paused as Takemichi suddenly recalled Kisaki and Kazutora's words.

"Mikey has gone... completely evil!" Takemichi thinks to himself. "Don't do it, Mikey-kun! If you fight them like this, you'll...!"

Taiju then suddenly punched Mikey in the face, slamming him down and knocking him out as everyone was left in shock.

"Huh? Mikey-... kun?" Takemichi muttered.

The bell then chimed loudly. "Even the bell chimes to bless my victory on this holy night! I've defeated the invincible Mikey!" Taiju shouted.

"No way... just one hit?!" Takemichi exclaimed.

"Taiju, you fucker! You're dead!" Mitsuya shouted, but stopped when Mikey got up.

"Prayer time's over." Mikey claimed.

"Just give it up, Sano Manjiro." Inui spoke up. "The boss is on a whole different level than you. You're just a pebble in the face of his military rule."

"Mikey." Mitsuya said.

"I just hit you with the best punch I've thrown today. Guess it'll take more than one hit to shut you up." Taiju stated.

"Mikey-kun... managed to get back on his feet, but... he's in serious trouble! He hasn't really recovered from what happened! Not after losing the people he cared about, one after another... and more than anything... Shiba Taiju! He's way too overpowered!" Takemichi noted.

"Is this all the invincible Mikey is made of?! How disappointing." Taiju insulted.

"Is Mikey-kun... about to lose?!"

Mikey let out a sigh. "That hit I took from you was me punishing myself." He stated.

"Huh?"

Mikey threw a punch at Taiju's face, knocking him out cold.

"Boss?" Kokonoi questioned.

Takemichi, Inui, and Kokonoi let out a scream of shock. "Boss!" Inui shouted out.

"Bullshit! Taiju, taken down in one hit? So that's the invincible Mikey!" Kokonoi exclaimed.

"He just one-shot him..." Hakkai muttered.

"That was awesome, Mikey-kun!" Chifuyu exclaimed.

"I really got lucky in the dating department, did I?" Keiji smirked.

"What a beast!" Yuzuha stated.

"You had me going for a minute there." Mitsuya said.

"I decided... to go riding with Baji and my brother every Christmas." Mikey said.

"Mikey-kun."

Mikey pulls out the charm, grabbing Takemichi's attention. "I ride the memento my brother left me and wear the memento Baji left behind. When I ride my bike out in the snow, it's like they're still there with me." He explained.

"Memento?" Takemichi repeated. "What the hell?! When you talk weird like that... it makes me think you've lost your mind!"

"My brother, Baji, and you guys... you're all in here with me. That's what makes me strong." Mikey claimed.

"Mikey." Mitsuya mumbled.

"Mikey-kun... is gonna be fine. He won't turn evil!" Takemichi told himself.

"All right, guys! Christmas might be over... but let's ride!" Mikey said.

"The fuck do you think you're going?!" Taiju's voice was heard as Inui was supporting him. "This isn't over yet, Toman! Koko! Call our soldiers inside! We'll put 100 of our best men against them. I won't let any of you leave! It ends here. I won't lose to you anyone, you bastards!"

"Taiju. The Black Dragons are strong. But they can't create a new age." Mikey spoke. "You're good in a fight. But you've got no heart."

"We're going to create a new age. So sit back and watch."

"Hey, Koko! The hell are you waiting for?! Where are my soldiers?! Hurry up!" Taiju ordered.

"Boss..."

"Huh?!"

"We've lost."

"Lemme go, Inui!" Taiju shouted as he rushed to see what Kokonoi was looking at.

"Hm?"

"What happened here?!" Taiju exclaimed.

"Oh? Are things all done in there? Could you let Mikey know?" Draken questioned as he smiled with the Black Dragon members on the ground in defeat. "I'm all done out here."

"Takemitchy. You can still move, right?" Chifuyu asked.

"Uh... yeah."

"Just gotta hold out a little longer. We've got 100 Black Dragons outside! And the six of us." Chifuyu said.

"I think the Second Division needs to raise some hell, Hakkai!" Mitsuya said.

"Yeah!"

Draken then walks in. "Hm? Why's everyone all tense?" He asked.

"Huh?"

"Draken?!"

"Mikey! I stomped all the dudes outside!" Draken announced. "Shiba Taiju lost to you and all his soldiers are defeated. His will to fight is gone."

"Yup!" Mikey agreed.

"What? What?!" Takemichi exclaimed with shock.

"The Black Dragons are dead!" Mikey announced.

"Toman wins!"

All of them walked out to see the defeated Black Dragons members.

"Whoa!" Chifuyu exclaimed.

"He did this all alone?" Yuzuha questioned.

"In the end, our top two guys were the biggest monsters." Mitsuya stated.

"Damn, I've got goosebumps! Don't you, Takemitchy?" Chifuyu questioned as Takemichi didn't respond. "Takemitchy?"

"Taiju. Hakkai. Yuzuha. Mitsuya-kun. Keiji-kun. They're all... alive. I got through Christmas... without anyone dying..." Takemichi thought.

"Mission complete."

"Got that right!" Chifuyu smiled. Takemichi then began falling forward.

"Takemitchy?!"

Mitsuya caught him just in time as he hoisted Takemichi on his back. "Thanks, Takemitchy." He said.

"Mikey... Draken. We beat the Black Dragons thanks to you two. But tonight's MVP... is Takemitchy." Mitsuya claimed, causing everyone to smile.

"Jeez... I hate crowds." Keiji mumbled as him and Miyasato were at the shrine with Mikey, Draken and Emma.

"You could've stayed home, you know." Miyasato smirked. "But you wanted to be with—"

"Shut up, To-chan." Keiji interrupted, already knowing what he was implying since he was staring at Mikey, making Miyasato chuckle.

"Wait for me! My emaaaa!" Keiji heard Takemichi's voice. "Huh?"

"Your Emma?" Emma repeated. "What do you mean, your Emma?"

"Oh! Takemitchy." Draken said.
