This morning, I actually walked to school with Cristi. I was sooooo happy. I can't believe it, she wanted to!
On the way, we talked about a lot of stuff.

When we got to school, Jade walked up to us.

"Hey look, the nerd got friend! With a geek."

"Jade, what did I do to you?" I blurted.

"Ex squeeze me?"

"I said, what did I ever do to you?"

She smirked at me then walked away.

"That. Was. Awesome." Cristi said.

Then she put her hand up to high five me. She cringed as I smacked her hand. Hard. It just felt so good to finally stand up to her. That is what she deserved.

At home, I told Aunt all about what happened.

"Nice Gio," she said, not really sounding proud of me.

"Are you ok Auntie? You seem a little... off."

"Yea," she sighed,"I'm fine."

Then she went to her room.

Wow, I thought, that was awkward.
Maybe something happened...

Oh no. Something must've happened. And it probably was going to be bad. Being me I tell you.
