Robin sighed, "And then he just left, I know he's mad but he's never done anything like this."

Spirit shrugged, "I don't really know him beyond what you tell me but maybe there's more to it then you think."

Robin looked away, "Maybe." Robin looked ahead, "There's Wally."

The speedster saw them and ran over a little too quickly, "Hey guys, what's up?"

Robin shrugged, "Not much, but now we can head to the mountain and see what's up." The three walked to the nearest zeta tube and as soon as they reappeared in the mountain Robin and Wally ran toward the others. Spirit chose to walk and Robin spoke, "Did you ask him?"

Kid Flash spoke, "What did he say?"

Aqualad answered them, "He's arriving now."

Spirit stopped next to Robin, the boy wonder and the speedster couldn't stop smiling, Kid Flash spoke, "Then what are we waiting for?" He ran off and Robin wasn't far behind, Spirit resisted the urge to laugh and he followed him. The others eventually followed them and they went outside just in time to see Red Tornado start to land.

Kid Flash waved, "Red Tornado!"

Red Tornado looked at all of them, "Greetings, is there a reason you intercepted me outside the cave?"

Aqualad spoke, "We hoped you had a mission for us."

"Mission assignments are the Batman's responsibility."

Spirit spoke, "And yet a week has gone by without a word."

Red Tornado looked at him, "You will be tested soon enough, for the time being simply enjoy each others company."

Aqualad looked a bit annoyed, "This team is not a social club."

"No, but I am told that social interaction is an important team building exercise, perhaps you can keep busy by familiarizing yourself with the cave."

Red Tornado walked into the cave and Kid Flash looked at Robin, "Keep busy."

Robin didn't look happy, "Does he think we're falling for this?"

Miss Martian smiled, "Oh, I'll find out." Miss Martian looked at Red Tornado and Spirit watched her, she was trying to read his mind. After a few seconds she sighed, "I'm sorry I forgot, he's a machine, inorganic, I can't read his mind."

Kid Flash smiled a little, "Nice try though, so, you know what I'm thinking right now?"

Spirit rolled his eyes, "We all know what you're thinking right now."

Robin elbowed Kid Flash in the back and Aqualad spoke after a second, "And now we tour the club house."

Miss Martian spoke, "Well Superboy and I live here, we can play tour guides."

They all looked at Superboy, "Don't look at me."

Kid Flash smiled in amusement, "We won't, a private tour sounds much more fun."

Spirit facepalmed before Aqualad spoke, "Team building, we'll all go." The heroes began to walk back inside the mountain, Spirit hesitated and Robin smiled before holding out his hand. Spirit smiled a little and took it, no one noticed that they were holding hands the whole time.

Spirit wasn't paying attention since he wasn't really interested but he heard them talking about the history of the mountain when they were done walking. Then Spirit smelled something familiar, "Something's burning."

Miss Martian gasped, "My cookies." She flew off and went to the kitchen before opening the oven and taking out a tray of burnt cookies. She set it on the counter when they all walked in, Spirit and Robin weren't holding hands anymore.

Miss Martian looked a bit sad, "I was trying out grammy Joan's recipe from episode seventeen of-." She quickly cut herself off and laughed just a little to play it off, "Never mind."

Spirit shrugged, "You're bound to make mistakes sometimes, cooking can be hard." A few of the heroes gave him strange looks but Miss Martian smiled a little.

Robin spoke, "I'm sure they would have tasted great, he doesn't seem to mind."

He looked at Kid Flash who was eating the burnt cookies, Spirit grimaced a little. Kid Flash shrugged, "I have a serious metabolism."

Miss Martian looked slightly confused but she smiled, "I'll make more?"

Aqualad spoke, "I was sweet of you to make any."

Miss Martian looked down, "Thanks Aqualad."

"We are off duty, call me Kaldur'ahm, actually, my friends call me Kaldur."

Kid Flash spoke, "I'm Wally, see I already trust you with my secret ID. Unlike mister dark glasses over here, Batman's forbidden boy wonder from telling anyone his real name."

Spirit mentally sighed as Miss Martian introduced herself, Superboy began to walk away and Megan frowned a little. 'Don't worry Superboy, we'll find you an Earth name too.'

Superboy glared at her, "Get out of my head!"

Megan looked confused, 'What's wrong, everyone on Mars communicates telepathically.'

Spirit threw up mental barriers after the first two words, it was instinctual at this point. Kaldur looked at her, "Megan, stop."

Spirit spoke, "Earth is different from Mars, people like to keep what's in their minds private." Images of Freak Show flashed through his mind, to say he didn't like the guy was an understatement. When he came back to his senses Superboy walked away and Megan was quiet for a few seconds.

Suddenly the martian smiled, "Hello Megan, I know what we can do." Megan flew away and they all looked confused before they followed her, Megan flew back to the living room, Spirit guessed she was going to get Superboy.

Spirit whispered to Robin, "How much do you want to bet that they eventually start dating."

Robin smiled, "I'll bet twenty bucks that it happens within the first month."

Spirit smirked, "I bet it'll take longer."

"You're on." Megan and Superboy caught up to them after a minute or two and they all walked into an elevator.

Megan pressed a button and the elevator started moving, when it opened Megan spoke. "It's my martian bio-ship."

They all walked in and Wally spoke, "Cute, not aerodynamic, but cute."

Megan smiled, "It's at rest silly, I'll wake it."

The ship changed and Spirit looked a bit impressed, "Well I'll be damned."

Most of the heroes looked at him in shock and Spirit waved them off, Megan spoke, "Well, are you coming?" The heroes looked at each other before they walked in, Spirit looked around the ship before Megan spoke again. "Strap in for launch."

Robin and Wally ran to a seat and Spirit simply walked over to a seat and sat down, the hanger doors opened and the ship flew out of the mountain. Robin smiled, "Incredible."

Wally stared at Megan, "She sure is." Megan looked at him and he seemed to realize that he said that out loud, "I mean the ship, and like all ships is a she."

Spirit almost smirked, "Fast with his feet but not with his mouth."

"Dude!" Wally looked offended and Robin laughed.

Spirit heard Kaldur talking to Superboy and Robin looked at Megan, "He'll come around."

She frowned, "He doesn't seem to like me much."

Spirit rolled his eyes, "You do know that he has super hearing don't you?"

They looked at Superboy and the kryptonian didn't react, Robin changed the subject, "Hey, how about you show us a little martian shapeshifting."

Megan looked at him in surprise before she got up, she changed into Robin before she changed into Wally in his uniform. Wally looked like a love sick puppy, "Is it wrong that I think I'm hot?"

Spirit facepalmed and Robin clapped, "Impressive, but you know you're not exactly going to be fooling anyone with those."

Spirit shrugged, "If she's changing into a girl she'll nail it."

Megan sat down, "Mimicking boys is a lot harder."

Aqualad spoke, "And your clothes."

Megan smiled, "They're organic, like the ship, they respond to my mental commands."

Superboy looked away, "As long as they're the only ones."

Megan frowned and Wally changed the subject, "Can you do that ghosting through walls thing that Manhunter does?"

Megan looked at him, "Density shifting? No, it's a very advanced technique."

Robin spoke, "Flash can vibrate his molecules right through a wall, when he tries it, bloody nose."

Wally spoke, "Dude!"

Robin smirked, "Spirit can phase through stuff too."

Everyone looked at Spirit in shock and Spirit mentally sighed, "Yes I can phase through things, but it took some time to learn how to control it."

Megan looked confused, "What happened?"

"I kept phasing though shit without meaning too, trust me it was fucking annoying."

Megan suddenly smiled, "Here's something I can do." The ship turned invisible on the outside, "Camouflage mode."

Spirit ran a hand through his hair while Red Tornado called them, Spirit wasn't really paying attention though. After a minute or two he heard Robin talk, "Tornado's keeping us busy again."

Megan spoke, "Well, a simple fire lead you to Superboy, we should find out what caused the alert."

Superboy spoke, "I think I know the cause." They all looked out the window to see a tornado heading for the ship.
