Batman and the team were waiting for Spirit, he had called ahead of time saying he might be late so they expected it. The zeta tubes announced Spirit's arrival and he walked into the room, "Sorry I'm late."

Spirit had a busted lip, a bruise on his cheek, and a small cut on his forehead that was still bleeding. Batman looked at him, "What happened?"

"I'll tell you later."

Batman mentally sighed as Spirit walked over to the rest of the team and stood next to Robin, the young hero gave him a worried glance. Batman brought up some holographic images and began giving them their mission, "Isla Santa Prisca. This island nation is the primary source of an illegal and dangerous neo steroid, a strength enhancing drug sold under the street name venom."

He brought up some other images, "Infrared heat signatures indicate that their factory is still operating at full capacity. But all shipments of venom have been inexplicably cut off, that's where this team comes in. This is a covert recon mission only, observe and report, if the Justice League needs to intervene, it will."

He brought up more images, "This mission requires two drop zones."

Robin spoke, "So who's in charge?"

Batman and Red Tornado looked at them, then each other, then at them again, Batman answered, "Work that out between you." The all nodded and Batman mentally sighed, "Get ready and head out."

They all turned to leave and Batman spoke again, "Spirit, Robin, I need to talk with you two."

Kid Flash laughed a little, "Someone's in trouble."

Spirit rolled his eyes and the three waited for the team to leave, Red Tornado left as well since he knew Batman would want to talk to them alone. Batman looked at Spirit, "What happened to you?"

Spirit mentally sighed, "A few rogue vampires, I had to take care of them before they ended up attacking someone. I was outnumbered, they got a few hits in, and they were a little tough to beat but I sent their asses to the counsel."

Batman eyes narrowed at him, "And you don't have any other injuries?"

Spirit looked away, "Maybe."

Batman glared at him, "Spirit."

"Fine, a stab wound and a few cuts, and maybe a couple more bruises, but it's not that bad."

Robin looked concerned, "Are you sure you should go on this mission?"

"I'm fine, we all know I've had worse injuries and I still did this kind of stuff anyway. If you're that concerned then you can keep an eye on me to make sure nothing bad happens but I'm fine." Spirit walked away and Robin sighed before he followed the halfa, Batman left knowing that Robin would make sure he was okay.

The team got ready for the mission and left in the bio-ship, after a few hours of flying, which Spirit used to zone out, Miss Martian spoke. "We're approaching Santa Prisca, drop zone A in thirty."

Aqualad stood up and put his suit in camouflage mode which turned his shirt black and he looked at Miss Martian. "Ready."

Miss Martian looked at the bio-ship's controls, "Putting bio-ship in camouflage mode." The ship went invisible, aside from the ever so slight distortion in made when it moved, and the hatch opened. Aqualad used the comms to tell them that the coast was clear before they got to the second drop zone.

Miss Martian spoke, "Drop zone B." They all stood up and lines dropped from the ceiling that would lower them to the ground.

Once Robin and Kid Flash clipped theirs on the speedster put his suit in camouflage mode and turned to Miss Martian. "How cool is this?"

Miss Martian smiled, "Very cool." She then turned her clothes black aside from the red parts.

Kid Flash looked stunned before he smiled, "That works too." He then looked at Superboy, "Hey Supy, not too late to put on the new stealth tech."

Superboy didn't look amused, "No capes, no tights, no offense."

Miss Martian spoke, "It totally works for you." Superboy looked at her and she realized that she said that out loud, "In that you can totally do good work in those clothes." Superboy looked away from her and she frowned before putting on her hood and turning invisible, once again making a slight distortion.

Spirit smirked a little, "I have to agree with Superboy, capes and tights aren't my style." The hatch opened up and Miss Martian went first, Kid Flash and Robin weren't far behind her.

Once they were on the ground Superboy jumped down and the others quickly moved out of the way. Superboy stood in the small crater he made, "Knew I didn't need a line."

Robin glared at him a little, "And yet creating a seismic event might not have helped us much with the covert."

Spirit jumped down after Superboy moved and he landed gently on the ground, Kid Flash spoke. "Okay, seriously, how can someone be that quiet, you never make any noise unless you're talking."

Spirit shrugged, "I'm a ghost what do you expect?"

Kid Flash looked skeptical, "I'm still not convinced your a ghost."

"I honestly don't care of you believe me or not, just keep your goddamn opinions to yourself because I don't want to hear them right now." Miss Martian contacted Aqualad using the comms and Aqualad told them that he'd catch up to them. Robin checked the map and they headed toward the factory, on the way there Superboy stopped when he heard something.

"Wait, did you hear that?"

Spirit tried to find where the sound was coming from while the others talked, he could hear heartbeats. Aqualad spoke using the comms, "Robin, Kid, switch to infrared, see if your being tracked."

Spirit spoke, "Don't bother, there are four people just ahead of us, there's another group coming from the opposite direction as the first, there's six in the second one."

Superboy looked in the direction Spirit said the two groups were, "They'll meet each other before they find us." The sound of gunfire suddenly filled the air and someone spoke but Spirit couldn't hear them, the guns were too loud.

Kid Flash sped off and Spirit mentally sighed, he had a feeling that this wouldn't turn out well. He was proven right when Superboy said he was in trouble, the three jumped into action, since Robin was nowhere to be found, as quickly as they could. Spirit took down three of the men while Robin showed up out of nowhere and took down another two.

Spirit took down a fourth while Robin and Kid Flash talked, he could feel his wounds flare up a bit due to his movements. One tried to sneak up on them but Aqualad took him out before he could attack, Superboy and Spirit took down the rest of the men. The team tied them up and Robin looked at them, "I recognize those uniforms, they belong to the Cult of the Cobra."

Aqualad spoke, "I am certain Batman would have mentioned if he knew a dangerous extremist was running Santa Prisca's venom operation."

"Agreed, and since there's clearly no love lost between the cultists and those goons I'm betting Cobra came in and tossed them out, that's why normal supply lines have been cut off."

Kid Flash spoke, "We get it, Cobra wanted super cultists, mystery solved, radio Bats and we'll be home in time for-."

Spirit cut him off, "Except these cultists aren't on venom, Cobra must he keeping it for something, the question is what he's planning."

Kid Flash looked slightly irritated, "Who died and made you leader?"

Spirit sent him an annoyed look, "The only dead one is me and I don't want to be leader, I'd be a terrible leader."

Aqualad spoke, "And yet you lead us when we fought Mr. Twister."

"Which I'm not doing again, I was barely okay with joining this team, I refuse to lead it." Spirit heard someone talking and it wasn't one of the heroes, they were speaking Spanish. He heard Kid Flash start an argument with Aqualad about how Spirit shouldn't be leading them anyway, Robin just shook his head.

Spirit couldn't help but smirk when he heard what one of them was planning, he glanced at Superboy and he nodded. The leader of the goons, Bane, spoke, "Such clever ninos, but you only know half the story, let me show you the rest, get you into the factory via my secret entrance."

Miss Martian tried to read Bane's mind while Spirit listened for any more heartbeats, he couldn't hear any close by. The young heroes glanced at each other and Aqualad nodded at Robin, they were going to have to trust Bane for the time being. Bane lead them through the forest and showed them where the factory was, Spirit looked at what he guessed was the secret entrance.

Kid Flash started up a small argument with Robin, who said a sarcastic comment, and Robin looked completely uninterested in what he was saying. Bane moved a large rock away from the entrance of the tunnel and gestured toward it when the heroes looked at him. "Answers are this way."

Bane walked inside and Kid Flash spoke, "So now el luchador is our leader?" Robin elbowed him in the side before following Bane, Spirit wasn't far behind and the others went in after. When they got to the end Bane opened the large metal door and Kid Flash sped over to the door on the other side of the room.

He opened it and looked outside for a few seconds, "All clear."

Kid Flash sped off and Robin disappeared, Spirit facepalmed, "Every fucking time."

Bane spoke, "Great chain of command." Spirit mentally sighed and the group headed toward where the shipments were.
