That day will be the last day of training since on the next day, the men's team will takes a flight to Toronto to face Canada in a training match before go to Stratford to face Venezuela in another training match. Then, they will go to St. Paul, Minnesota as they will started the Gold Cup campaign there while the women's team will takes a flight to Europe for 2 training matches before went to France for FIFA Women's World Cup.

"Okay, everybody. That bring us to the end of our training here. So, ladies. On behalf of the men's team, I would like to wish you goodluck in the World Cup and we hope that you will retained the cup that you won 4 years ago" said Berhalter.

"Thanks, Gregg. And on behalf of the women's team, I would like to wish you best of luck in the Gold Cup and we hope that you'll retained the trophy here. Now, why don't we let the captains to talk. Let's start with Carli" said Ellis.

"Do I need to stand?" asked Carli.

"Don't have to" said Ellis.

"Okay, then. First of all, I would like to thank everybody that make this camp success. You see, before this, we never had a chance to know each other between these 2 teams. We wore the same crest and jersey but we never being connected unlike the athletes of other sports. This camp make us known each other well. During the start of this camp, we're just sit and talk with our teammates only. The wall that separated us is bigger than the Berlin's Wall. But, now. We can talk to each others and make friends. We can even mixed up in the buses. I hope we will have this type of training camp again in this future" said Carli.

"Thanks, Carli. So, did the other co-captains want to give a speech to?" asked Berhalter.

"Not me. Everything I want to say was already being said by Carli. I hope we meet again after this. You boys are cool" said Pinoe.

"Well, I don't want to say much more except to thank the organiser as I managed to meet with my brother again after 20 years. I'm proud to see him as who he is right now. And goodluck to all of us in the defending our championships" said Alex.

"Aww, your sister is so lovely, Ryan" said Morris.

"Of course she is. She's my sister after all" said Ryan.

"Nothing" replied Mal and Rose.

"Anyway, Michael. Let's hear some words from you" said Ellis.

"Well,  I don't have much to say. But, I remind myself and all of you that we are the best players in this country right now. We need to do our best because the whole nation being counting on us. We are entering the tournament as champions, let's end the tournament as champions too" said Bradley.

"Nice word, Michael. Is there anybody else that want to say anything?" asked Berhalter.

"Why don't we let our only rookie to say few words?" asked Pinoe.

"That's true. Ryan, please say something" said Ellis. Ryan then holds Alex's hand before took a deep breath.

"Okay, guys. First of all, I would like to thank our coach for giving me a chance to play with the national team this time. To be honest, I've been waiting for this moment since I was part of U23 squad 4 years ago. Sorry for not making to Olympic that time by the way. You see, some of you might see me as a big star just because I played in the top tier of one of the top league in the world but the fact is I'm not since I failed to prevent my team from being relegated. What I'm saying is that, no matter who we are, where are we from, what is our skin colour or which clubs that we play, right now, we are a team. We're going into the battlefield together. We win together, we lose together. Because we are team. So, let's all maintain this teamwork we have here and be the best" said Ryan followed by the applause from the others. Alex just smiled and nodded to Ryan.

"Thanks, Ryan. Now, then. Let's go back to the hotel and start to pack a bit. I'm sure some of you might have plan tonight" said Berhalter. Then, all of them walked to lockeroom.

Later on;

Ryan is sitting by the window. Then, Tierna came and sits besides him.

"You don't mind, right if I'm the one that sits with you instead of Alex?" asked Tierna.

"Of course not. You're my bestie after all" replied Ryan. Tierna giggled.

"Can I ask you something?" asked Tierna.

"Sure. What is it?" asked Ryan in returned.

"How did you managed to survive in Brazil alone? We're just graduated from high school though that time" said Tierna.

"Well, it's true that I was really in a hard time that moment. I'm at a foreign land alone. I worked so hard to learn Portuguese, since my mom never taught me, so that I can understand what did the coaches and my teammates said. And you know, when they saw my effort, they helped me a lot too. That's why I managed to score 20 goals in just half of season" said Ryan.

"But why did you moved out to Cardiff during January transfer window?" asked Tierna.

"Because Cardiff played in EFL. Brazilian League is good, but we all know how good European League is. So, since I got a chance, I just go. Besides, I don't know if I ever get such chance in the future" said Ryan.

"You're right. Do you think I can achieve what had you achieved?" asked Tierna.

"Of course you can. Besides, my achievement is nothing though compared to what Alex had achieved. It make me realised that I still have long way to go" said Ryan.

"Well, that's true. But, I'm sure you can be better than her. Who knows if you might ended up be the first player that are not from UEFA or CONMEBOL to win Ballon D'Or and FIFA Player of The Year" said Tierna.

"Ballon D'or and FIFA Player of The Year, huh. That will be a nice target for me" said Ryan.

"Goodluck, then. I hope you'll achieve that target" said Tierna.

"Thanks. Why don't we both try to achieve it. Me as men's player of the year and you as the women's player of the year" said Ryan.

"Well, I don't know if I had a chance though. I'm defender after all, not a playmaker or striker" replied Tierna.

"C'mon. Fabio Cannavaro won the Ballon D'Or in 2006 and he's a centre-back" said Ryan.

Later that night;

Ryan just done packed up some of his stuff when he got a text from Alex; Meet me at the lobby in 10 minutes.

"What does she wants?" mumbled Ryan.

"Who's that?" asked Pulisic.

"My sister" replied Ryan.

"Well, she might want to spend some time with you. We'll leaving to 2 different places after all" said Pulisic.

"You might be right" said Ryan.

Few minutes later;

Ryan arrived at the lobby. Later, Alex came.

"So, Alex. What's up?" asked Ryan.

"Well, I just want to take a walk with you" replied Alex.

"That's it?" asked Ryan.

"Yes. It's okay if you didn't want to" said Alex.

"Of course I want to" said Ryan. Alex smiled. Then, both of them walked out from the hotel.

"2 weeks is such a short time, right?" asked Alex.

"Not really. We just feel like it's a short time just because we have fun. That's all" replied Ryan.

"So, did you have anything plan after Gold Cup?" asked Alex.

"Well, not yet. Why?" asked Ryan in returned.

"Why don't you stay with me at Orlando until pre-season?" asked Alex then.

"Not a bad idea though. I'll think about it. Especially the transfer windows is open that time too. My agent might want to keep me update easily though" said Ryan.

"I see. By the way, have you give a thought about which club that you will play with next season?" asked Alex.

"Well, I do give a thought about it. I might stay in Cardiff unless there is any club in the 1st tier league in Europe make an offer to me" replied Ryan.

"I'm sure that there will be a lot of club that will offer you contract if you perform well in the Gold Cup" said Alex.

"You're right. I'm sure there will be many talent scouts at the tournament. I just need to bring my A-game. That's all" said Ryan.

"I can't believe that my little brother that I didn't saw anything special few years ago is now an ace of USMNT" said Alex.

On the next day;

All players are in the airport as they will take a flight to the other place. Then, it's time for the women's team to leave. This time, Alex hugs Ryan for such a long moment.

"Alex, you make it harder to say goodbye" said Ryan.

"It can't be helped though. I enjoyed every single moment we have together in these 2 weeks" said Alex.

"Me too. Call me when you arrive there" said Ryan.

"Okay, We'll FaceTime after I get there" said Alex.

"Let's show the world who's The Morgans are" said Ryan. Alex just nodded.

"Alex, it's time to go" said Pinoe.

"Goodbye, little bro" said Alex.

"Bye, sis" said Ryan. Then, they hugged once again before Alex kissed Ryan on his cheek.

"I love you" said Alex. Then, Ryan kissed Alex at her cheek too.

"I love you too" said Ryan. Then, Alex walked away.

"Seriously, bro. I never thought I will see that side of yours in this 4 years I know you" said Cannon.

"That's true. Ryan Morgan said he loves someone is not something that we can see 4 years ago" said Pulisic.

"Well, I don't have any family that care about me that time, right. It's different this time" replied Ryan.

"Okay, boys. Now, it's time for us to leave" said Berhalter.
