It is a international action week and since Ryan didn't involved in national team anymore, he just go and trained by his own. He tried to perfect some new technique to make sure that he is on his best form ever. After done with it, he heads to the shower and puts on his clean clothes with AC Milan jacket. He then heads to the supermarket to buy some groceries. While choosing some stuff, he got a FaceTime request from Alex.

Ryan: Hi, sis. How you doing?

Alex: Oh, I'm good. Where are you right now?

Ryan: Oh, I'm buying some groceries. Wait a minutes. You're not with USWNT?

Alex: I am. Just take 5 for a while.

Ryan: Slack off.

Alex: No, I'm not. By the way, I have something to tell you.

Ryan: Tell me what?

Alex: I might join Lyon on loan in January.

Ryan: Really? So, I need to come and see you sometimes then.

Alex: Yes. So, you better behave yourself or I'll go to Milan just to knock your head. But, it's still not confirmed just yet.

Ryan: Good bye, freedom. I'll miss you.

Alex giggled.

Alex: By the way, Jeni asked me to tell you that she is heading to Milan with Liv this week. So, you can meet your niece for the 1st time.

Ryan: Her husband not coming with her?

Alex: Nope. He didn't get a leave.

Ryan: I see. So, how does it feels like having your former teammate as a head coach?

Alex: It's great. Lauren is nothing new for our team so, things are great as usual even without Jill in-charged.

Ryan: Glad to hear that. So, you heading to Malaysia this time, right?

Alex: Yes, we are.

Ryan: Make sure Amanda didn't feel pity facing her motherland though.

Alex: By the way, I need to go now. I'll call you later.

Ryan: Okay, sis. Take care.

Alex: You too. Bye. I love you.

Ryan: Bye. I love you too.

Then, they hung up.

Few days later;

Ryan is already at the airport waiting for Jeni and her daughter; Liv. After waiting for a while, Ryan saw Jeni and Liv approaching him.

"Ryan Alexander Morgan! Come here and let me hug you" said Jeni. Ryan then walked to Jeni before hugged his sister.

"Miss you, sis" said Ryan.

"Aww, I miss you too" said Jeni.

"So, this is Liv" said Ryan.

"Yes. Liv, say hi to your uncle Ryan" said Jeni.

"Hi, uncle Ryan" said Liv shyly.

"Hey, sweetheart. Don't be shy" replied Ryan.

"Once she knows you, she won't be" replied Jeni.

"I see. Let's go now" said Ryan.

Later at Ryan's place;

"Well, sis. This is my place. Nothing much. Just a room with kitchen and   bathroom" said Ryan.

"It's nice. I never thought that you're such a tidy person to be honest" replied Jeni.

"Ouch, that's hurt" said Ryan while holding his chest. Jeni just giggled.

"So, what do you have plan for us?" asked Jeni.

"Well, nothing actually. I thought that I'll show you around later on" replied Ryan.

"Fair enough" said Jeni.

Later on;

Ryan cooked lunch for them. Then, Jeni and Liv came in to the kitchen.

"What are you cooking?" asked Jeni.

"Beef stew" replied Ryan.

"I never knew that you can cook" said Jeni.

"Well, my foster mom taught me. Besides, I've stayed alone 3 years at a foreign country. I need to know how to cook if I want to survive" replied Ryan.

"3 years, huh. Many things can happen in 3 years" said Jeni.

"Yeah. I wonder what will happen if I ever go to college" replied Ryan.

"Well, if you do, you might not achieve whatever you had achieve today then" said Jeni.

"That's true. And we might never meet too" replied Ryan.

"Yeah. Everything happen for a reason, Ryan. The good thing about you is you keep moving forward no matter what" said Jeni.

"I just do anything I can to survive. But, compare to some other kids, I quite lucky since the foster care that I stay with is the good one" replied Ryan.

"How many orphans stayed with your foster mom?" asked Jeni.

"Just 3. Which means that we're the lucky 3" said Ryan.

"Yeah. So, did dad ever tried to contact you since then?" asked Jeni.

"Nope. He wouldn't dare I guess. After I punched him in front of the public" replied Ryan.

"I see. But, he can't stop talking about you though. Especially now, he got mass media attention" said Jeni.

"More reason for me to not going back to America then" replied Ryan.

"But you still need to do so sometimes. You have sisters there" saif Jeni.

"I know. But, when I did come back to the States, I'll make sure that reporters will stay away from me" replied Ryan. Jeni just giggled.

"Mom, I'm starving" said Liv.

"Aww, honey" said Jeni.

"Can you wait for a while, dear? It just need a bit of time" said Ryan.

"Okay" said Liv.

"Good girl. I have some cookies. Do you want some?" asked Ryan. Liv nodded. Ryan then pick cookies that he kept in a cabinet and hand it over to Liv.

"Thank you, uncle" said Liv.

"You're welcome. You're adorable, sweetheart" said Ryan.

"Aww, you have a tender spot now" said Jeni. Ryan chuckled.

"Yeah. I started to have it after I met Alex. It's become more and more afted I met you and Jeri. Now, Liv. I just become normal now. That's boring" said Ryan. Jeni just giggled.

Later after the lunch;

Ryan is watching TV with Liv sits on his lap. Then, Jeni came and sits besides Ryan.

"Aww, you no longer shy to your uncle, Liv" said Jeni.

"Of course. I gave her cookies after all" said Ryan before kissed Liv's forehead. Liv just giggled.

"So, little bro. Tell me about your girlfriend" said Jeni.

"I don't have any" replied Ryan.

"You never try to get one, don't you?" asked Jeni.

"I'm about to. But, as you know. That night screw everything" replied Ryan.

"So, it's one of Alex's teammates in the national team, huh?" asked Jeni.

"Yeah" replied Ryan.

"I'm sure it's not Tierna since you both are like siblings more than dating. So, who is it?" asked Jeni.

"It's Mal" replied Ryan.

"I see. She's no longer talk to you after that night?" asked Jeni.

"Nope. She blocked me on social media and when I was in Washington for pre-season, I saw her but she's avoiding me" said Ryan.

"It's okay. If she is meant for you, she will come around eventually" said Jeni.

"I know. By the way, sis. What time dp you want to check around??" asked Ryan.

"It's up to you. I don't mind" replied Jeni.

"Too bad most of my teammates are not here. If not, they can meet my adorable niece here" said Ryan before kissed Liv's forehead.

"You're just like Alex" replied Jeni.

"Well, she's my idol and I met her first before you and Jeri, so I got influent by her more" said Ryan. Jeni just giggled

Later that day;

Ryan brought Jeni and Liv walked around his neighbourhood. While walking around, Ryan needs to stop many time as Milan's supporters is asking for his autograph and wanting to take picture with their Cursebreaker.

"Wow, that's looks tough" said Jeni.

"Yeah. I never expecting this to be honest. I just came here after all" said Ryan.

"Well, you're an ace for the team after all. If you can change your national team, I'm sure the whole Italian will want you to do so" replied Jeni.

"And then, the whole American will be mad at the federation" said Ryan. Jeni giggled.

"That's definitely true" said Jeni. Then, they walked back home.
