That day is the last day of training before USA facing Venezuela in their last training match before they headed to Saint Paul for the first match of 2019 Gold Cup. Previously, they managed to defeat Canada 3-0 with Ryan scored 2 goals while Arriola scored once.

"Okay, boys. That's all for today. I'll see you boys tomorrow for the match against Venezuela" said Berhalter. Then all players dismissed.

"Hey, Ryan. Do you have anything to do after lunch?" asked Bradley.

"Don't ask him, captain. USWNT is facing Thailand at 3pm later on" replied Lewis.

"Oh, yeah. Nearly forgot about it. Very well. Let's watch it together at my room later on" said Bradley.

Later after lunch;

All players just changed into their match outfit. Alex then checked on her phone and saw somebody mentioning her on Instagram. She then checked on it and saw Ryan's post.

"Girls, check this out" said Alex while showing Ryan's post.

"Wow, the men's team watching us" said Julie.

"Not only them actually. The whole nation is watching" said Piinoe.

"Let's win this" said Tobin. The rest just nodded as Alex comment on the post

"13-0. Not to mention, Alex scored 5 goals. Damn" said Ryan.

"That's true. They didn't gave Thailand any chance at all" said Pulisic.

"I got a feeling that they will win the World Cup again this year" said Bradley.

On the next day;

All players arrived at Dillon Stadium for their final training match against Venezuela. After changed into their training kits, they make their way to the pitches for warming up session.

"This stadium might be small but damn. It's full house" said Bradley.

"That's true. Size doesn't matter but the envoironment is" said Ryan.

"Smart words, Ryan. Never expect that from you" said Lewis.

"Hey, just because I didn't go to college, doesn't mean that I can't give any smart words" said Ryan. The rest just chuckled. Later on, all players returned to the dressing room and changed into match kit.

Later on;

All players already in their position. Then, the referee blew his whistle to started the match with Venezuela kicked of the match.

7th minutes of the match;

The ball with Bradley. He then passed the ball to Mihailovic. Mihailovic then runs with the ball before sent it through that managed to reach Zardes. Zardes then run with the ball before passing it to Ryan. Ryan then shoots the ball into the net to make it 1-0 for the US.

18th minutes of the match;

The ball is with Moreno. He tried to pass the ball to Herrera but Mihailovic intercepts the pass before sent the ball long to Ryan. Ryan then dribbled in passing through some defenders before shoots the ball into the net to make it 2-0.

Meanwhile in France;

Alex is watching the match via livestreaming with some of her teammates.

"Both Morgans are run berserk this 2 days" said Tobin.

"Like sister, like brother" said Pinoe.

"It can't be helped though" said Alex.

28th minutes of the match;

The ball with Rincòn. He then sent the ball long to Savarino. Savarino then runs with the ball before sent it to Rondón. Rondón then shoots the ball but Steffen managed to catch it.

33rd minutes of the match;

The ball is with Bradley. He then runs with the ball at the right flank. He then sent the ball to Zardes. Zardes tried to get into the penalty box but then Mago came and awfully tackles down Zardes. The referee gives Mago a yellow card and awarded a freekick for USA. Ryan then picked the ball before whispering something to Zardes. Zardes smirked before nodded.

"Those two are up for something" said Tobin.

"I wonder what are they up to" said Pinoe.

"Let's copy it if it's cool" said Alex.

"Agreed" said Mal.

Then, the referee blew his whistle before Ryan passed the ball to Zardes.  Zardes then quickly shoots the ball to the goal. Farínez dived to save the goal but failed as the ball enters the net first as USA widen the gap between the 2 teams.

"Okay. Let's try it against Chile if we got chance" said Pinoe.

"Agreed" said Alex.

45th+2 minutes of the match.

USA was awarded a corner kick at a crucial time. After the referee blew his whistle, Ryan sent the ball into the penalty box for Cannon to head the ball into the net to make it 4-0. Then, the referee blew his whistle signalling a half time.

"Seriously. If Ryan didn't get any offer to play with a top tier club in Europe, I'll drag him back with me to Orlando and asked Orlando City to sign him in" said Alex.

"I don't think it's a good idea. MLS level is just on par with EFL League One at best" said Pinoe.

"Really? No wonder all top stars that no longer in their peak can shine on MLS" said Alex.

Later on;

All players are back into their position on the pitch. Then, the referee blew his whistle to resumed the match with USA kicked off the match.

48th minutes of the match;

The ball is with McKennie. He then runs with the ball before passing it to Ryan. Ryan then runs with the ball until he reaches the penalty box before shoots it into the net to complete his hattrick.

"GOOOOOAAALLLLL!!!" shouted Alex.

"Oh my god, Alex. Keep your voice down a bit, will you" said Pinoe.

"That's true" said Tobin.

"Sorry" said Alex.

57th minutes of the match;

USA gets another corner kick. After the referee blew his whistle, Ryan sent the ball into the penalty box. Zardes then jumped high to hit the ball with a header. Farínez jumped to make a save but the ball just touched his fingertips before entering the net to make it 6-0.

"Assisted with his weaker foot. Uggh, I felt like I was challenged by little brother now" said Alex.

"Now, I remember. He's a lefty just like you" said Pinoe.

"I wonder for how long he trained his right foot to perfect his technic" said Mal.

"Maybe since day 1 he played" replied Tobin.

69th minutes of the match;

The ball is with Lovitz. He then runs with the ball before passed it to Pulisic. Pulisic then sent the ball to Ryan. Ryan then runs with the ball before shoots it from the outside of penalty box. Farínez dived to make a save but he just few inch short as the ball made it into the net to make it 7-0. Then, Berhalter took Ryan out and sent in Arriola. Arriola then added 2 more goals to end the match with the final score USA 9-0 Venezuela.

Later on;

Ryan just lying down on his bed after arrived to the hotel room when he got a FaceTime request from Mal.

Ryan: Hi, Mal. I'm surprised that you still awake.

Mal: I can't sleep. Congratulation on scoring 4 goals just now. Alex was really happy that the whole Paris might heard she screamed.

Ryan: What a crazy sister I have there. So, how did you feel when facing Chile in 2 days?

Mal: I'm nervous to be honest.

Ryan: Don't be. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Mal: I hope you're right. It seems that playing with team that had reputation as a defending champion really got me nervous.

Ryan: I know that feel really well. I feel the same to for this Gold Cup. But, there's nothing else that we can do about it. We're national players after all.

Mal: You're right. Thanks for the peep talk. Really needs it.

Ryan: No problem.

Mal: Anyway, I need to go now. Let's talk again sometimes.

Ryan: Sure thing. Tell the rest I said hi.
