Akshara Goenka and Arohi Birla.

Two stepsisters.

While Akshara is the daughter of Naira and Kartik Goenka, Arohi is the daughter of Kartik and Sirat Goenka. Sirat Goenka being the woman, Kartik married after his wife, Naira's death. Growing up, Akshara always tried to be a good elder sister to Arohi and Arohi was always fond of her elder sister.

But one fateful day, in an accident, Sirat and Kartik, both expired, leaving behind three heartbroken kids. Akshara, Arohi and their elder brother Kairav.

Kairav, the thirteen year old stepped up and decided to protect his sisters and be there for them. With the Goenka family, consisting of Kartik's parents and Kartik's aunt, the three grew up without parents.

While Kairav has a healthy relationship with the sisters, Akshu and Aaru had developed a complicated bond. A relationship in which they loved each other but couldn't express it.

Two individuals.

Arohi and Akshara always wanted different things from life. They had a different perspective to look at things. But call it kismet, fate or destiny, and the two ended up falling in love with two guys from the same family.

As they live under the same roof, again, will sisterhood get a second chance?

I don't watch itv shows generally, but a week with my grandma, I got to know the entire history of the show (knew only Abhira and Neirohi before). The show missed a great opportunity to show a bond between two stepsisters with different personalities. So, here I go!
