### Chapter Twenty-Seven: Confusion and Conflict
The days following her conversation with Namjoon were a blur for Hana. Her emotions were in turmoil, a whirlwind of thoughts and feelings she couldn’t quite pin down. The kiss with Namjoon had been tender and filled with promise, but it also left her with questions she wasn’t ready to answer. Did she love them? Was she ready to embrace a relationship with all of them, knowing how complex and unconventional it would be?
She found herself lost in these thoughts as she moved through the mansion. Each interaction with the boys felt weighted, as if there was a hidden meaning in every touch, every word. She noticed the way they looked at her, the softness in their eyes, the gentle way they treated her. It was clear that they cared deeply for her, but Hana couldn’t shake the confusion clouding her mind.
One morning, as Hana wandered aimlessly through the halls, Hobi found her by the large windows overlooking the garden. His bright smile was infectious, and she felt a small wave of relief wash over her as he approached.
“Hana! I was just about to head out for some groceries. Want to join me?” Hobi asked, his voice full of enthusiasm.
Hana hesitated for a moment, but then nodded. “Sure, I think some fresh air might do me good.”
Hobi’s smile widened, and he gently took her hand, leading her outside. The mansion’s high walls and heavy atmosphere had been suffocating lately, and the idea of stepping outside, even for something as mundane as grocery shopping, felt like a welcome escape.
As they drove to the nearby town, Hana couldn’t help but feel a sense of normalcy creeping in. The world outside was so different from the one she had been thrust into. It was easy to forget that she was living with seven of the most dangerous men in the world, men who were feared and respected by everyone who knew their names. But with Hobi, things felt light, easy—almost as if she were just a regular girl out shopping with a friend.
When they arrived at the grocery store, Hana’s anxiety faded slightly. The store was bustling with people, and she found comfort in the ordinariness of it all. Hobi grabbed a cart, and they began strolling through the aisles.
“I don’t think I’ve been grocery shopping in years,” Hana admitted with a small laugh as she scanned the rows of brightly colored produce.
Hobi chuckled, his eyes sparkling with amusement. “Well, you’re in for a treat. There’s something strangely therapeutic about it, don’t you think?”
As they moved through the store, Hobi made sure to include her in everything, asking her preferences on food, getting her opinion on what to buy. He was patient and sweet, explaining why he chose certain ingredients and how he planned to use them in meals later. His enthusiasm was contagious, and for the first time in days, Hana found herself genuinely smiling.
Despite the lightheartedness of the outing, Hana’s mind couldn’t fully escape the questions swirling within her. She watched Hobi as he moved through the store with an effortless grace, his smile never faltering. The care and attention he showed her were unmistakable, and it made her wonder if she could ever truly return those feelings.
As they checked out and headed back to the car, Hobi noticed her pensive expression. “Penny for your thoughts?” he asked as they loaded the bags into the trunk.
Hana hesitated, unsure of how to voice the confusion she felt. “It’s just... I’m not sure what to think about everything. About you, the others, how I feel. It’s all so overwhelming.”
Hobi closed the trunk and leaned against the car, his gaze thoughtful. “I get that. It’s not every day you find yourself in a situation like this. But just know, Hana, whatever you decide, we’ll respect your choice. We just want you to be happy.”
Hana looked down at her feet, her heart heavy with uncertainty. “It’s not that simple, Hobi. I care about you all, but I don’t know if it’s love. And I’m scared of what it means if it is.”
Hobi reached out, gently lifting her chin so she would meet his eyes. “Don’t rush yourself. Love isn’t something you need to figure out right away. Just take it one day at a time, and let yourself feel what you feel. We’re not going anywhere.”
His words were comforting, but they didn’t entirely ease the turmoil in her heart. She nodded, appreciating his understanding, but her mind remained clouded with doubt. As they drove back to the mansion, Hana stared out the window, her thoughts still tangled in a web of uncertainty.

Meanwhile, across town, Hana’s father was plotting his next move. His desperation to reclaim his daughter had reached a boiling point. The thought of her being in the hands of the mafia—especially the most feared one in the world—was unbearable. But it wasn’t out of fatherly concern that he wanted her back. No, his intentions were far more sinister.
Hana’s father had always been a cruel man, driven by greed and ambition. When he first agreed to hand over his daughter to the mafia in exchange for clearing his debts, he had seen her as nothing more than a pawn in his game. But now, realizing the value she held, he had come up with a new plan—a plan that would not only allow him to get her back but also sell her off to another mafia group for an even higher price.
Gathering his loyal men, he began devising a strategy to launch an attack on BTS. He knew it wouldn’t be easy—the boys were powerful, and their defenses were nearly impenetrable. But desperation drove him to take the risk. If he could pull it off, he would not only regain his daughter but also gain enough money to secure his own position in the criminal underworld.
Unbeknownst to Hana, her father’s twisted scheme was already in motion. While she grappled with her feelings and sought solace in her time with Hobi, dark forces were aligning against the boys she had grown so close to. The peaceful routine she had found herself in was about to be shattered by a storm she never saw coming.
