7. Show Scene + Interview

Fictional Scene:

"How can you do this?" Grant rubbed his hands over his face, he looked out the window, smoke was filling the sky, and he could hear the sounds of people screaming both in pain and anger. His heart laced with conflict, something he couldn't shake even as the woman before him, his best friend, told him not to worry.

"I have everything under control Grant, I couldn't sit here and let my kingdom fall into an uproar" She tried to defend her choice. She didn't need to defend her choices to anyone but she felt the need to explain to Grant why she was doing this. "Grant, they were pulling my arm, questioning my rulership,"

"You could have settled this in a different way Ali," he insisted.

"No, I couldn't have." She insisted. "They wanted war, and it is war they shall have at the end of the day."

"You have sent this nation into a mess, now kingdoms must choose their loyalties, do you even have the forces? With the rebellion joining hand with Pierce, Rumlow, and  Dreykov, how do you expect to keep your power?"

"I have allies. Anthony, Christopher, I even have the support of rebellions of Thanos's order, the guardians." She looked up at him with eyes that could only be referred to as her puppy eyes, yet they held power and authority. "I was hoping that you would join me, just as I have joined you in the past."

"This isn't just my choice to make. I have advisors Al, my kingdom is starving as it is, how can I put them through another war."

"I have always admired your loyalities Grant, but for once, I just wished they'd be placed upon me,"

"Ali-"

"I must focus on this war, I will have Ronin, show you out," She nodded to the man in the corner. Her eyes ignored the judgment in the knight's face, she knew he too was on the verge of speaking out about her so-called "recklessness." They didn't understand, and for the first time, Ali feared a future that they never would. This war may lose more than just blood.

"I wish you well in your journey, Your highness," Steve said officially. "I shall come up with an answer soon, that you have my word on." She didn't respond to him, his words were meaning little to her. She needed action, that was something if she couldn't find in her prince, she'd find else where. She knew exactly where to look. The devil in red.

Interviewer: I should start off by saying congratulations!

Natasha: Oh thank you!

Interviewer: Yes, the season two premiere of The Avengers has taken the world by storm, everyone is talking about it

Natasha: Oh sorry I thought you were talking about...

Interviewer: oh yes, congratulations on your announcement of you and Steve, the world is also obsessed with you two

Natasha: You are the first interviewer to not start off asking about Steve, I am shocked is all

Interviewer: I am just a huge nerd, and I have been dying to talk to you about Ali's journey since I found out I got the chance to interview you

Natasha: Well I am excited to answer your questions!

Interviewer: well we see from last season, that Ali was in a pretty tough spot, as the rebellion, was coming closer and closer to war, Grant asked her not to do anything. She made this promise to not do anything, but in that shocking season finale, we see her officially wage war on them. Then in the season two premier, we see her struggle with this decision and her starting to lose those closest to her, how is that affecting her?

Natasha: She's heartbroken. Ali was given reign of her kingdom at a very young age after her parents were murdered. She created close bonds with these people that she thought had her back, but it turns out they are also facing this battle between loyalties and the responsibilities towards their kingdoms. It's tricky and she doesn't blame anyone for that, this was her choice to go to war and if she has to do it alone she will but as you saw last night, Matt Murdock's 'Devil in red', the mysterious knight from last season has come to aid her journey

Interviewer: The Devil and Ali were pretty close last seasons in the flashback episodes, do we see that relationship coming back to play.

Natasha: I don't know, maybe. But right now she's dealing with a lot and he may be the one person she knows won't betray her.

Interviewer: What about Grant and Ronin, they are who the fans would call her biggest supporters for years now.

Natasha: Well Ronin is her knight, he's always by the Princess's side, he saved her from one destructive path but this one may be out of his control, especially with his own family now in the picture, and the Maximoff twins' characters. It's complicated.

Interviewer: And Grant? I know that sometimes life imitates art

Natasha: I love what Grant and Ali have, it's pure, but it's also fragile, they are both rulers, and while these feelings for one another their kingdom has a bit of priority, and we will see Grant begin to struggle with the lengths Ali is willing to go.

Interviewer: I will have you know, I spoke with Steve earlier and he had nothing but praises for you, and he actually said that Ali is Grant's light in the darkness, so maybe hope wouldn't be such a bad thing to have

Natasha: Awe, that's so sweet. We have actually talked about the fates of our two characters and we decided that we want to keep our personal relationship out of the writing room, and our amazing producer Nick, has been great at doing so, to the fans there who are already predicting that finale, I would keep an open mind, you never know what is going to happen, it's all up for grabs.

Interviewer: He looks up to you a lot which is such a beautiful thing to have in a partner.

Natasha: Steve is my best friend, I've said it a lot, he's one of the best things to ever happen to me. I think a lot of people will say it's cliche, but there is no better joy than being with your best friend. I really think that your partner should always be your best friend because they should be the person you are waiting to spend time with, or that no time apart can affect you. So as much as he gushes about me, trust me when I say that I feel the exact same way.

Interviewer: If you don't mind me asking, was this ever a surprise? Do you ever stop and wonder how you two got here?

Natasha: No, I don't think that I dwell on the what if's and the past too much, what matters is that we are here, and we are happy. Can anyone really ask for anything more?

Interviewer: No I don't think we can. I am so glad I got the chance to talk with you, and I have to say congratulations on your relationship, I can say you two are completely adorable and we are all having hope for our ships in The Avengers to sail

Natasha: Well keep watching, maybe a surprise where these two characters end up.
