Murdock V Romanoff

Today marked the day of the defamation of character trial between Actress Natasha Romanoff (29) and Matt Murdock. (29) The trial will not be live-streamed fully to the public, however, there are some transcripts that were leaked to the public by reporters. 

Murdock: Your honor, I have been nothing if not a doting friend to Ms. Romanoff. The night when everything fell apart, she came to me with concerns about her boyfriend cheating. I comforted her until her friends Ms. Hill and Ms. Carter came to the scene, to which her attitude drastically changed. Ms. Romanoff is an award-winning actress, and it's quite easy to be fooled by her demeanor, I, however, will not let her lies ruin my life and my career. 

Judge: Mr. Murdock, you have brought this case to life in an attempt to clear your record correct? 

Murdock: Yes your honor. Since revealing this to the public, Ms. Romanoff has ruined my reputation and has made it nearly impossible for me to get any jobs. Getting me fired from the TV show we were both staring in. 

Recent reports that Matt Murdock was released from his contract with the Avengers shortly after serving Ms. Romanoff with papers. We have yet to hear from Romanoff, but it appears from social media that Murdock is now receiving a lot of support. Romanoff still has a heavy side of the public rooting for her, however, with every day of the trial, the tables could turn.

Romanoff: I was drunk, that night, we had gone out because he [Murdock] wanted to. My boyfriend [Rogers] was out of town filming and I was bored so I agreed to go. I drank way too much and I had expressed this minutes before in a voice message to my friend [Maria Hill] asking her to come to get me. Matt took my phone and pulled my chair closer to him. I didn't think much of it then all I could really think about was the amount I had been drinking and how much I wanted to be in bed. 

Walters: Ms. Romanoff, you said that you revealed to Mr. Murdock how drunk you were throughout the night is that correct? 

Romanoff: He not only knew but he was the one buying me drinks all night. 

Walters: So we are to assume that Mr. Murdock not only knew how intoxicated you were but was still trying to get you drunk? 

Romanoff: Correct, after I expressed how I wanted to go to bed, he laughed and said we were out to have a good time, and proceeded to buy me another drink. 

Walters: Did you feel unsafe? 

Romanoff: Never in our friendship did I feel unsafe around Mr. Murdock until that night. He was one of my best friends and I genuinely thought of him as someone like a brother. But that night, that night I felt completely different. 

Walters: What did he do to make you feel that way? 

Romanoff: With Ms. Hill on her way to get me, Matt got clingy and said I was hurting his feelings. When I tried to stand up, I was wobbly and he took that as a chance to pull me closer. I never even saw the paparazzi there that night, that's how drunk I was. I didn't realize he was trying to kiss me till the last moment and by then that was when the paparazzi had already taken the photo thus creating the whole social media mess. 

Foggy: Objection your honor! If  Ms. Romanoff was as intoxicated as she claims to be then her recalling of the night is to not be taken seriously. 

Walters: In other cases sure, he is correct your honor, however, we are dealing with a celebrity experience, and thanks to the help of TMZ we have video coverage of that night. 

Judge: Do you have the footage submitted? 

Walters: Yes I do.

Walters: That will be all your honor.

The cast is behind you don't feel guilty. Besides, I think everyone is enjoying some more time off. 

Tasha
I have to go back in. Are we still having pizza and wine tonight? 

Steve

Steve Rogers released testimony 

Steve: I never thought Murdock liked me or pretty much anyone on set, however, I never took him to be capable of anything like he's done to my girlfriend. 

Walters: Mr. Rogers how would you explain the relationship between Ms. Romanoff and Mr. Murdock? 

Steve: Best friends. She had nothing but positive things to say around him. Despite how I felt about him, I felt good about him being around her because she described him as a caring person to her. She genuinely cared about him. 

Walters: You came rushing back to the states while you filming away in London, is that correct? 

Steve: Yes it is. 

Walters: Why is that?

Steve: I got a cryptic text from my girlfriend and then about 10 minutes later I received a call from her, she was crying and just kept saying she was sorry. I knew she was drunk and when I was finally able to get her to give the phone to Maria Hill, who was present with her, she explained the situation. I came flying down to be with her. 

Walters: And you didn't leave to pay a visit to Murdock correct? 

Steve: The moment I got back to the states I went straight to Nat- to Ms. Romanoff. 

Walters: We would like to submit phone records that put Mr. Rogers at Ms. Romanoff's home for the remained of the night and the following day. So as you can see your honor. Mr. Murdock and Mr. Foggy are laying down false claims about Mr. Rogers coming and threatening the safety of Mr. Murdock.
