A little dry on inspiration? Been there. Sometimes we need just one good idea to get us going. 

I don't normally like to get ideas from other people. However, sometimes the old noggin just doesn't work and getting the tiniest bit of inspiration from someone else can kick start it. Here's some fanfic ideas I'm not going to write that is free for grabs. Take as much or as little as you'd like. I hope this helps.

Star Wars AU Pong Krell is Ahsoka Tano's Master

My most popular fanfic, Broken Survivor, uses this plot. However, this idea isn't originally mine. I've read several amazing fics with the same idea, but we all use different twists and turns. Ninjago and Avatar: The Last Airbender Crossover

Ninjago characters but in the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe. Lloyd is essentially the Avatar anyways since he can bend all four elements of creation. Lloyd is the Avatar from Southern Air Temple, who ran away because he was afraid of his destiny. He was found a hundred years later by two friends in the Southern Water Tribe: Zane and Jay. Zane is the last Waterbender of the Southern Tribe while Jay has no powers, but is an ingenious inventor. Zane is essentially Katara while Jay is Sokka. Meanwhile, Prince Kai is hunting down the Avatar to restore his honor with his uncle and/or mentor Wu. After speaking out of turn in a war council, Prince Kai was challenged by his father Fire Lord Ray in an Agni Kai, burned, and then banished. Kai is Zukko, Wu is Uncle Iroh, Ray is Fire Lord Ozai, and Maya is Fire Lady Ursa. The twist is that Nya is Azula except she isn't crazy and a prodigy Firebender. Maya came from the Northern Water Tribe and was a Waterbender, but was forced by her husband to pretend to be a native of the Fire Nation and a non-bender. He thinks Nya is a non-bender and is thus mostly ignores her. In secret, she is a Waterbender. Kai is very protective of her and is eager to get back home to her. Also, Cole is Toph and Skylar is Mai. Feel free to use this as superficially or loosely as you want. Heck, make Jay a Firebender because he's the lightning ninja!

Reversal Avatar: The Last Airbender AU

The Southern Water Tribe took over the world, killing the Airbenders and destroying the Fire Nation. Zuko and Azula are Firebending peasants, though a hundred years ago, their family was royalty. They find Aang trapped in hardened lava and discover he is the Avatar. Meanwhile, non-bender Sokka is searching for the Avatar. Katara is not insane like Azula was, but she is crafty. She and Sokka have a better relationship than Zukko and Azula had in the show. Azula is still kind of malicious, but not crazy. Also, Zuko still has his scar because their father is an abusive jerk. Toph is still Toph. And possible Yue and Sokka arranged marriage until she dies? Katara is still compassionate to a degree, so possible redemption?

VALORANT Zombie Apocalypse AU

Instead of fighting Omega Earth, the VALORANT Protocol's biggest threat is the zombie apocalypse. Kingdom's experiments with Radiantite accidentally created a zombie outbreak. The world is in shambles and it's every man for himself. Kingdom is no longer a global company, but is operating tirelessly to find a cure. Brimstone collects willing people and Radiants to help protect what's left of humanity, protect Radiants, and to find a cure, which Viper, Killjoy, Omen, Sage and others are working together on. They also fight Kingdom as the scientists there are experimenting on Radiants to find out why they are immune. Reyna is apathetic towards humanity, but is willing to help if Viper can cure her non-Radiant sister, who is only still alive and human but comatose due to Reyna's souls. I don't know why, but I like the idea of the VP fighting zombies. A lot of inspiration was taking from The Maze Runner trilogy. 

Marvel vs. DC Crossover

Marvel would win, of course. Jk. Do whatever you'd like. Maybe make it a draw and have them work together to fight a larger evil. I just want to see the character interactions. Like Batman and Iron Man, Superman and Captain America, Black Widow and Wonder Woman, and Spider-Man and Nightwing. That last one would be so wholesome. 

Percy Jackson AU

I got several so here's a rapid fire list.

• Zombie Apocalypse

• Ancient Greece/Rome – Choose whether your characters are slaves, dictators, craftsmen, gladiators, etc. I imagine Percy as a gladiator and/or slave. Annabeth could also be a slave or a high born lady or a simple weaver. Possibilities are endless.

• Vigilantes – No Greek myths unless that's how you explain where they got their powers. You could do a Miraculous Ladybug kind of scenario or Batman in Gotham or Avengers/Justice League team. 

• Percy runs away with Annabeth, Luke, and Thalia – I love the idea of adorable seven-year-olds Percabeth. And Luke being a good older brother and Thalia a good older sister/cousin. Percy would know as much about being a demigod as the rest of them and Luke's betrayal would be all the more heartbreaking. 

• Betraying the gods – There's a lot of fanfics out there where Percy joins Kronos, usually after the gods or Camp Half-Blood betrays him first. But what if Percy agrees with Luke that the gods don't care about them and need to be overthrown and all of Camp Half-Blood (except for Mr. D and maybe Chiron) follows him. By no means is he a Kronos supporter, they will defeat him, too. He doesn't want to rule the world, but the gods need to stop abandoning their children. Will they win or will they die? One thing's for sure: the gods will pay.

On Stranger Tides AU with Willabeth

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is a great movie, but still pales in comparison to the original trilogy. I believe one of the main reasons for this is because it is missing some beloved characters such as Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann. The Pirates franchise has always had Captain Jack Sparrow as the focus, but in terms of plot and character development, Will and Elizabeth were no less vital or heroic. While we know what they were doing during On Stranger Tides, a few adjustments could be made to include this power couple. It could feature married Willabeth by either Will being curse-free in the first place and just being captain of his own ship with Elizabeth as the Pirate King or Will is still cursed but choosing to help Jack and Elizabeth defeat Captain Blackbeard with his own monster ship. The first option is more plausible, however the second option could be more dramatic. What consequences will he face by abandoning his duties for a short time? Elizabeth can be the badass Pirate King we all know she is, but gets some much earn quality time with Will. She could also be pregnant or have baby Henry. I also love the idea of the first option because Will and Elizabeth can be a co-captain pirate power duo. The story can be much more chaotic and funny with these amazing characters and they can save Jack and defeat a supernatural pirate once again. Not to mention Will and Elizabeth teasing Jack about his complicated romance with Angelica.

Detroit: Become Human case fic

A post-game story with Connor as a full-fledged android detective and partner to Hank Anderson. How has life changed since the android revolution and what are the repercussions? How is Connor exploring his newfound deviancy? Is the case android related or red ice related? Both or neither? What characters come into play and what new ones do they meet? And how many times can you hurt an android who can't feel pain and send Hank into cardiac arrest from not-fatherly, not-protective feelings? The possibilities are endless! (I'm really into case fics right now and I can't get enough of them).

Master Kenobi and Padawan Ani

Anakin didn't get the Jedi Master he wanted and Obi-Wan was thrust into a mentor position immediately after graduation and losing his own mentor. What problems arise and how does Anakin go from a sweet, caring boy to the rebellious, cocky disaster that gives Obi-Wan gray hairs in his thirties? How does Anakin adjust and how does Obi-Wan learn how to teach the Chosen One? Most importantly, how do they comfort each other after the loss of Qui-Gon Jinn? Also, how much Obitine can you fit in without going against canon?

Marvel heroes in Medieval times

Inspired by a Clintasha fanart I saw. Imagine your favorite Marvel characters in a fantasy setting. Tony Stark is a genius, self-absorbed lord until he is kidnapped, Steve Rodgers is a soldier, Clint and Natasha are assassins, Wanda Maximoff is a witch (obviously) and so much more! Let your imagination run wild. Just don't forget the plot somewhere.

Spideychelle coffe shop AU

Except it's not really an AU because MJ actually does work in a coffee shop. Marvel kind of already did this when they did a backwards coffee shop AU but make it tragic called Spider-Man: No Way Home. This is your perfect opportunity for a fix-it.
