(Also, we are not offending any short people. Actually, all of the short actors/characters are the best we have. And if we discuss tall people, there's only one that can match with the short actors/characters]

Lapis: EVERYONE! ONYX IS COMING!

Pink: Thanks for the warning! Everyone quiet down!

(This is normal. Onyx's actor has the best hearing in the cast, but that means he can't handle loud sounds. We commonly have to give him many breaks when using loud sounds [Emerald was the person to discover the problem and help him discuss it with me. We never want anyone to be too hurt/affected in our environment so they feel like they must leave.])

Onyx: Hey...

Ruby: hey. Your costume is over there on your rack.

Onyx: Thanks...

Blake: We have 5 short actors, only 4 having tall characters. There's Emerald, the true short person; Onyx, Purple, Scarlet and Cyan. Now, most of these guys have small forms, so it's all good for them. But then you have Purple.

Purple: I am the only one without a short form. And no, I'm not sad about it.

Lapis: As the tallest actor (being well over 6 foot), I have struggles with some of the scenes. Like, some scenes I am actually have to stand in front or behind the others in order to seem like I'm shorter. There are several times I've been required to stand somewhere else on set because of how tall I am. Other times I've had to adjust my position to seem shorter.

Scarlet: only few of the scenes I don't have to do my little ritual of costuming because I'm already short enough for my smaller form. I just need to get measured and fitted. It sorta sucks that I'm the only female, but whatever.

Onyx: Meanwhile, I have to do my own costume adjustments because I'm the smallest of the short people. I also am a disabled amputee, so I take a lot of time to get everything on and stable.

Emerald: I don't worry about too much about my costume because I can get it adjusted very easily with how simple it is.

Purple: I have to do so much work just to get the effect that... I'm one of the taller people of my group and... I have multiple forms... so I'm actively in the dressing room.

Small Cyan: My... my situation is different. I actually have a second actor playing part of my role because the... larger role is tiring and I don't have the... energy to do long scenes... and I have a.... talking disorder, so I have.... a lot of struggle on set.

Tall Cyan: the difference between me and my short actor ally is that he has a whole lot more acting experience than I do... but I also am disabled in my legs. So we have to work together a lot to understand all of our cues and everything.

Lapis: So... I have to do a scene with some of the "taller" Dexters... they are all average height... I am not.

Later-

Lapis: so... I arrived at the set... and I go over to Gold's actor, who has the marked "tallest" character... and we shake hands... he's not slouching and he's up to my elbows... he's not short, I'm just that tall.

Scarlet: There's  a scene where me and Lapis have to bond. This is the same scene that I show my characters true form. When you compare Lapis to an average person, they get up to around his wrist to elbow. But when you compare me to him, I go up to his knees!

Lapis: and this is why I'm really afraid of her. The only thing she can hit is my knee and that's where short people go for first. This is why I don't make short jokes.

Lapis: Scarlet?

Scarlet: I'm not here.

Cut- Scarlet, you did it again-

Scarlet: I wanna start a fight!

Emerald: I think the only problem with us short people, there is actually one tall person who needs to be shorter than us.

Scrappy: yeah.... it sucks.

Blake: I think... if you're not part of the group that has height issues with their roles, you are around the height of your character.

Onyx: oh.... well shit-

Onyx: many of us who have height issues are actually in tons of other books. I actually play the villain's minion in the Pokemon Precure Sequel book.

Lapis: meanwhile I'm inside many of the Precure enemy villains.

Scarlet: I act play many of the fire Cures because I'm the most trusted with the fire.

Emerald: we all have our differences in every book.
