Marinette stood in front of her full length mirror as she wore her red lipstick contrasting with her deep red dress . Her blue hair were tied in a loose bun with a few strands lefts open unlike her usual hairstyle.

The dark blue eyes directly contrasted with the red dress and made Marinette look so beautiful. A black belt was tied around her waist to adorn her look and she wore black sandals. So pretty!

She quickly hid Tikki in her clutch and started walking down the stairs to wave good bye to her parents and to catch a taxi.

"Bye mum and dad !" She shouted with excitement and happiness laced in her voice as she hugged both of them tightly.

"Enjoy tonight Marinette , it's your night " her mum told her as she looked at her beautiful daughter.

"Yes mum " Marinette replied and started rushing towards the door and her mum and dad ran behind her. It was already 6:45 p.m and she had only 15 minutes to reach his home . As soon as she stepped out she pulled out her mobile to call a cab , but then suddenly she hears a honk .

With the sudden honk meant for her , Marinette looked towards the car , the source of the honk , and to to her utter amazement , it was his car , waiting for her....

I can't believe this! Adrien is going to be waiting in the car and then he is going to get down and open the door for me , and then he would give me a rose.....

And Marinette went on in her head with her imagination , when all the  while the car kept honking.

"Marinette,  darling , don't you want to go !" Her mum exclaimed as she shook Marinette by her shoulder.
With the sudden body jerk , Marinette came back into her senses and started walking towards the car, that was waiting at a distant ,as soon as she bid good bye to her parent.

She neared the car and expected Adrien to get off the car to welcome her , instead , Gorilla  , his bodyguard , came out and held the door open for her. She thought Adrien was waiting for her inside the car , and her heartbeats increased step by step, the closer she got to the car , the faster her heart pumped. When she finally go to the car , all in her sight was an empty car! She looked down as she felt her heart squeeze because Adrien wasn't there !

Obviously Marinette , he wouldn't come to pick you up. He sees you just as a friend , , nothing more . Besides , he  isn't like Chat Noir , to come and pick her up!

She thought all the time as they drove towards Adrien's mansion. With her stepping up the stairs of the mansion, her adrenaline increased,  her heartbeats went faster and her face was red .

Ah! Adrien what do you do to me!?

Just as she entered the big hallway of the oh- so - humongous mansion, there's light shone on her and she is shown in the spotlight. A man comes to her side and walks her to the stage in the middle and gets her seated just beside Mr, Agreste , who looks remarkably happy , she just doesn't know why. And just then , when she looked through the crowds to see that one face she was wanting to see all the time , her eyes lock with a pair of captivating green eyes and her heart skips a beat ! It's her Adrien!

But what she sees next is enough to spoil her good mood.....

So this is it for this chapter.  I wanted them to like meet , meet not just the eye lock, but I needed to throw a cliffhanger , and so here it is... until next chapter tell me what you think, what Marinette saw that she isn't in her lovey mood anymore!

Btw , due to a wattpad glitch I had to update chapters 2 and 3 again, for all of those who are wondering why I had done so....
