Bdubs's Perspective-

Bdubs giggled at one of Etho's jokes as he and Etho held hands, walking downtown.

Bdubs's party had finished, and everyone had left.

Bdubs had asked his father if he could stay a bit longer with Etho and if they could walk in town together, which he said they could.

"Wanna go see if that new arcade is open?" Etho suggested.

"Sure!" Bdubs smiled.

They stopped at a crosswalk, waiting for the light to change, when Bdubs took a deep breath and asked,

"So...are we...boyfriends now?"

Etho turned red, "Er- y-yeah, I think we are. Unless, you don't want that."

"No, I do! I just...didn't really know what was going on between us."

"Oh...well I think we're boyfriends."

Bdubs nodded, but he looked as though something was still on his mind.

"Hey...you alright?" I asked and Bdubs nodded.

"Yeah...yeah, I just..." Bdubs sighed and held my hand tightly, "I'm just worried about how my dad will react to us."

"Does he not know?"

Bdubs shook his head, "I wanna tell him, because I think he'd be okay, but I need someone there with me. I would ask Scar, but I don't think mom would let him see dad."

"What if I go with you?"

"Would you mind?"

Etho shook his head and Bdubs nodded, smiling.

"Thanks." He said, bumping into his boyfriend before they walked across the street towards the arcade.

Later-

"Hey dad?" Bdubs asked shakily as he entered his home with Etho.

"Yeah?" Bdubs's father asked, walking into the living room, "Are you alright, Bdubs? You look really upset."

His eyes fell onto Bdubs's and Etho's interlocked hands and they widened.

"Dad, me and Etho," Bdubs took a deep breath, "Are dating. I feel like you'll support me as you were okay with Scar having a crush on Grian but- "

"Of course, I support you." Bdubs's father said, smiling.

Bdubs's eyes widened.

"Why would I not? I already support Scar with him liking Grian."

Bdubs laughed softly.

"I don't know, it was stupid of me to think that you would hate me."

Bdubs and his father hugged before Bdubs's father looked up at Etho.

"Do your parents know?"

Etho shook his head, "I don't think they'd support me."

"Oh, I'm sorry. Well, you're always welcome over here."

Etho smiled and then said, "I should probably get going, my mom normally cooks dinner soon."

"Okay, do you need a ride?"

"Do you mind giving me one?"

Bdubs's father shook his head as he and his son broke apart from their hug.

"Come on, let's go."

"Bye Bubbles." Etho waved goodbye as he stepped out of the Clocker's car.

"Call me if you need anything, alright? I'm always here to listen."

Bdubs blushed and smiled, "Thanks."
