"So now he has Emily and the only way to get her back it to go to him and help him destroy you guys," Patton said.

Virgil was still sitting next to Patton when they had finished talking about Patton's past.

"We have to tell the others!" Virgil exclaimed standing.

"No!" Patton exclaimed also standing. "W-We can't! They will make me leave and then I'll have to leave. Then I will be on my own!" Patton looked at Virgil with pleading eyes. "Please! Don't tell them!"

Virgil contemplated this and as he looked Patton in the eye Virgil knew that he could trust him. "Okay, I won't." Patton smiled and hugged Virgil. Virgil hugged him back and smiled as well. "I just have one question."

"What's that?" Patton asked.

"Can you really do all of that stuff?" Virgil asked.

"Uh yeah..." Patton said rubbing the back of his neck.

"That is...so cool," Virgil said.

"Oh wait!" Patton said. "What about Roman and Logan we just left them there."

"They will be fine," Virgil said. "You needed to talk.

"I wondered if they have noticed that we are gone yet?"

"...you know that!" Roman screamed at Logan for about the hundredth time. "If you had any emotions at all you'd realize that-"

"Don't tell me what I do and don't know!" Logan replied.

"Wait, shut up," Roman said.

Logan was taken aback. "Don't tell me to-"

"Where are Patton and Virgil?" Roman cut him off.

"They are right-" Logan started pointing to the empty seat that Virgil once occupied. "Oh."

"Where are they?!?!" Roman shouted.

"I don't know!" Logan replied. They both ran out of the room and down the hall.

"Patton!" Roman yelled repeatedly.

"Virgil!" Logan yelled.

Suddenly Joan and Iris came out of their rooms and shouted at the same time, "Be quiet!" Then they went back to their rooms.

Roman walked over to Patton's door and knocked.

Patton opened the door and looked at Roman.

"Oh thank God!" Roman said pushing the door over the rest of the way. But he stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Virgil. "What are you doing here?"

"Wow, Princey," Virgil said crossing his arms. "You really are arrogant. You didn't even notice that he left when you two were yelling about him. Obviously, he was upset he thought there was something he was doing wrong."

Logan walked into the room and over to Virgil. "What are you doing here? With..." Logan started his eyes wandering over to Patton. Logan placed his arm around Virgil's shoulders but Virgil shrugged him off. "What's wrong?"

Virgil just looked at him the walked over to Patton and asked, "You okay if I go?"

Patton nodded as Virgil grabbed Logan's hand and walked out of the room.

Once outside the room, Virgil closed the door and looked Logan in the eyes.

"Why don't you trust him?" Virgil asked.

"Because I heard him talking last night," Logan replied.

"You were eavesdropping?" Virgil asked raising an eyebrow.

"No! Maybe, yes," Logan said softly. "Only because I am worried about if he is safe. What if he hurts you?"

Virgil rolled his eyes. "I can protect myself, teach."

"I-I know that," Logan started.

Virgil smiled. "It is okay. I am glad you care." Virgil hugged Logan tight and Logan hugged back.

"What's wrong?" Roman asked Patton as he lifted his chin. Patton pulled away. He turned but Roman grabbed his wrist, his scar. Patton cried out in pain. Then covered his mouth. Roman let go. "I'm sorry!"

"It's okay Roman...I just uh have a scar there and it is sensitive," Patton said rubbing his wrist. It wasn't a complete lie. Right?

"Oh, I didn't know," Roman replied sadly. "Look, I am really sorry about Logan. He just-"

"Doesn't trust me," Patton finished.

Roman nodded. Patton looked up at him. "It is okay Ro."

Roman looked surprised at the nickname Patton had just given him. But he didn't say anything about it he just smiled as they walked out of the room.

When Patton and Roman walked out of the room they saw Virgil and Logan still standing there. Still hugging. Patton smiled at this while Roman just looked uneasy.

"So you want to tell me what you guys were talking about?" Roman asked raising an eyebrow at Virgil and Patton.

Patton shot a pleading look at Virgil. Virgil nodded and said, "He was just feeling overwhelmed. I helped him out. That's all."

Logan and Roman both looked at them suspiciously but said nothing. Patton breathed out a sigh of relief and mouthed thank you, to Virgil. Virgil nodded and walked away with Logan. Patton looked at Roman for a little bit longer. Roman's face was bent in confusion. Patton felt guilty about lying to them but he wanted them not to hate him or be scared of him. He would tell them sooner or later.

Plus what they don't know can't hurt them. Right?
