THEORY: PROLOGUE (1/2)

Not an update, but I just wanna share my thoughts so I hope you guys will read this! I'll post another chapter later kekeke XD

Oh, and if you guys wanna comment, feel free to!

So here's my theory about the three MVs of :

I watched all of the MVs once again in a sequence, even the Prologue, I NEED U then RUN and last is the Young Forever. Now that they're complete, I just realized something.

What if there is nothing mind-blowing or anything in the MVs? That there's no deep story behind each? What if all of those videos reflect what they are or how they feel?

So, maybe that's a bit hard to prove or what, but let me tell you what my observations are. Let's go first to the Prologue.

The Prologue is a mixture of happiness and sadness. It's all about what happened after V accidentally killed his father. He was in a beaten up dark room, his only light was the sunlight from outside.

Maybe this was what BTS felt at first, after they debuted. Sure, they weren't that famous and they weren't noticed by everyone when they released they debut mv, and maybe they felt sad. Maybe they felt that something's wrong or something's missing, and so they felt sad. Maybe V trying to wash the blood on his hands away symbolizes them trying to find, figure out, and clean up the "mistakes" that they think that they've done.

And V calling his hyung symbolizes them reaching out to their managers and producers, probably asking for advice or stuff to make them improve or to ask for comfort.

After that, that's when V arrived in their place, probably their hangout place or something, and the others are there, too. V crumpled the picture of him and his father in his hand, which kinda means that he wants to forget the bad memories for a while, he wants to escape from all of it.

When the others arrived, they are happy with each other, playing and goofing around like little kids. These scenarios symbolize them standing up and trying to work harder so that everyone would be able to notice them. They tried moving on from what happened by working hard and being happy, trying not to think about the sad things. They love what they're doing, so maybe they thought that, "Even if they don't notice us yet, why should we stop doing what we love? We just have to work harder." And so they went on with their career as a group.

Then Rap Monster was shown in the video, he is in front of a mirror, and he wrote the words "You need to survive" on it.

This symbolizes that they've finally found what they're lacking and so they already know where or what aspect should they improve and such, that's why Rap Monster wrote that. We need to survive things like this in our lives, too, just like what they did. Because if they can do it, we can do it too.

Next is Jin took out a polaroid picture of the sea and asked everyone if they wanted to go there, and everyone agreed.

This symbolizes how they agreed on something that they think would make them better, their "solution" to their problem.

Jin asked Suga and Jungkook the last, and when Jungkook saw that Suga's holding a lit lighter, he blew the fire out. Suga holding a lit lighter means that even amidst happy moments, sad thoughts would still find their way to pop out of your mind. Jungkook knew what Suga's thinking so he blew the fire out, as if telling him to stop thinking about sad things and to not worry.

The scenarios of them in the pickup truck going to the beach or whatever that is symbolizes the aftermath of their solution.

It worked, and more people noticed their talent and potential as a group. They were very happy that it worked and that they've survived the problem. The sea is their "success".

The next scene is in the gas station where Rap Monster worked.

He was the one who filled up their tank and the one who took a picture of Jin and Suga in the pickup truck with Jin's polaroid cam.

Then he showed it to the both of them and Suga nodded before Rap Monster placed the picture in the compartment.

J-Hope then emerged from the convenience store of the gas station, carrying a bag full of food and drinks for everyone. When he saw that Jimin's blanket isn't covering him fully, he tucked it closer to him and made sure he isn't cold before he hopped in the vehicle.

These scenes show how hyungs look after the young ones. Considering that it is RM's workplace where they went, the gas station symbolizes the dorm where they live. RM is the leader of BTS, and so he should look after his members and lead them, guide them, that's why he was the one who filled up the tank of the car. He makes sure that everything's good for the others. Then when he borrowed the camera from Jin, it means that he needs help from Jin in looking after the members, maybe because he's a good cook and he's like a mother to them. And then Suga pops out from behind Jin and joins the picture, which means that he wants to help the two look after their dongsaengs. RM showed them the picture, like he was asking the opinions of his hyungs, if he's doing everything right. Suga nodded, confirming that he's doing well and he's doing the right thing and that he shouldn't worry about it.

J-Hope carrying a bag full of goods for the group and tucking Jimin shows that he's helping out the other hyungs too, in looking after the youngs.

I'll cut this here and post the other half of my theory in Prologue later! I already reached my limit of pictures and I want to add some more so I'll be separating this one in two!

Hope you guys liked this!
