⩙23. Sacrifice

Author's POV

Jin stood in front of the marvellous castle of the King of the Night. His guts were overwhelming to the point he wanted to puke. He wanted to go back because he couldn't bear seeing the same man that he once saved, ending up becoming a new monster in the universe. But he will do it, if this would save Namjoon, then he is willing to sacrifice his pride and himself for him.

The castle was again, very glamorous, shiny and sparkly. Loads of glistening gems were in vision. Like Jimin's previous castle, this one was also blue and white coloured, with trails of gold. It obviously looked very alluring, unlike the heart of the filthy owner of it.

Jin took a deep breath, before walking up to the huge gates with guards that were there. And no, there weren't those stupid melnas, they were just normal dark angels, that were guarding the gates. "Sir, why are you here, you are not permitted to enter without permission from above." Jin sighed. "Just let me in, I need to speak to the...king himself. "Sorry, sir, we can't let you in without having permission, knowing who you are, and what your visitation purposes are. Jin pinched the bridge of his nose with annoyance.

"Fine! Tell the King that it's Kim Seokjin who wants to visit him. I just need to ask him for help. Tell him this!" The guards were still kind of not convinced but decided to tell the others to inform the King's secretary. "It better not be anything that wastes the time of the King, or you will be forcefully kicked out of the castle. Jin nodded. And after a while, another guard ran towards them. He whispered something to them which made them all bow down to Jin.

The man himself was kind of startled but decided to ignore their acts. "We're sorry to behave like that towards you, sir. We truly didn't know who you were." One of the guards said. Then that's when it hit Jin, Jimin approved his entrance. "Please follow us, sir" The humongous gates opened and Jin followed.

He was in awe of the beauty of the place. The garden along with the fountains looked so magnificent all together. Jin climbed through the multiple stairs which led to another huge door. On his way, everyone was bowing down to him. Jin was still in shock that Park Jimin gave such orders to his worker, but well, what can Jin do about it?

They soon started walking through a majestic corridor which led to another gosh-darn door that looked way more appealing and prestigious than others. He noticed that there were more guards outside that door, so he thought that this is the throne room, the place where he will see Park Jimin himself. Jin was getting extremely nervous and flustered at this point, but he just HAD to do it. He had to do it for Namjoon.

The doors were opened for Jin, and the cold hair of the throne room blasted onto Jin's face. He noticed that the aura changed into more majestic, royal, and...cold. He walked in slowly while looking around. The whole place was in the hue of blue. Dark blue curtain, black-framed windows, royal blue carpets, blue-gemmed chandeliers. Almost everything was in blue and dark colours. Jin also looked at the ceiling above him and noticed all the patterns of constellations made onto the light blue ceiling along with painted images of various moons of the universe.

And then, his eyes finally landed on the person who sat on the glorious blue throne, the man himself, Park Jimin. Jin's guts started to go weirder and his heart was racing out of nervousness. The man had a wine cup on his face, which he was sipping out of. Jin gulped because it looked like the king was staring at him. Without taking his eyes off Jin, he placed the glass on the tray which was held by one of his mere servants. He had that sickening smirk on his face which would make enough fall for him except for people who detested him to death, like Jin.

The ghost clenched his fists tighter and noticed how the king was dressed. Again, he had lavish clothings, all black and dark blue. His clothes were silky and glittery. Gems and jewellery were covering his neck, wrists and more. Nearly all his fingers had rings with either gems or just made out of rare gleaming materials. If you saw him, you would immediately know the man was in love with blue and shiny things. He had a huge midnight blue cape covering him from the behind, along with his huge golden crown which had loads of blue sapphires, yellow sapphires, and diamonds. The crows obviously laid on top of his head.

This is what he looked like.

(A/n, imagine that face of his with the given description. Also, I hope you didn't die by his looks like I nearly did :D)

Jimin's smirk just widened when he noticed Jin staring at him back. He finally cleared his throat and smiled. "I can't believe that Kim Seokjin himself decided to give us a visit! What a pleasant surprise!" Jimin cheered with a light yet attractive voice. Jin unconsciously rolled his eyes and Jimin just chuckled at the action, taking it as cuteness and not rudeness.

"Sometimes I really can't tell if you're the good old Kim Sang-Cheol or not, due to how mean you are to me." Jimin gave out a sad pout which looked slightly childish, honestly. Jin just sighed, it was very weird seeing an extremely powerful king acting like a freaking child. Jin just shook his head at his behaviour and started speaking again. "Well that's because I'm NOT Kim Sang-Cheol anymore, I am Kim Seokjin and you KNOW that!" Jin huffed. Just talking a few words with Jimin made Jin mad.

Jimin just smiled. "I am aware, dear. Anyways, would you like to tell why you decided to visit me when you loathe me so much for some unknown reason? Jin clenched his fists tighter, if possible, making him nearly tear the fragile layer of his palm and bleed. "I...I need help" Jin clenched his jaw as well, due to embarrassment. His confidence was slowly being drained away.

Jimin raised one of his eyebrows and gave out a small smirk. "Help with what?" Jin still had a poker face. "I need to...save my Hyung from your friend...Kim Taehyung. He has abducted him. And since there is no other way in saving my love except you persuading him to let Namjoon Hyung go, therefore I am here asking for you to take my pleads." Jimin's eyes darkened at the 'my love' part. Raging anger boiled inside him instantly like about-to-erupt lava. He didn't like how Jin addressed Namjoon. HE is the one that's supposed to be called like that, not that Namjoon!

Fortunately, Jimin took in a long breath, inhaling down all of the anger inside which was threatening to spew out. After that, he chuckled lightly and got out of his seat. Jin hesitantly swallowed his pride and dropped down on his knees. He looked down with shame engulfing him like never before. "P-please...I am willing to do anything that you want. J-just...save my Hyung from your...friend."

A wide satanic grin displayed across Jimin's handsome face. He walked down the staircase that led up to his oh so precious throne, making his luxurious boots produce a knocking sound against the floor. His long dark cape was dragging itself down the staircase, though, still being behind the body of the King. Then finally, Jimin stood in front of a kneeling Jin. "Anything you say?" He chuckled darkly once again but spoke anyway.

"Then...be mine," Jin's eyes widened due to the words the standing male said. He snapped his head upwards to look at his face in shock. Jimin just had a wide evil smirk. "B-but...I can't!" A deep frown grew on Jimin's face. "Why so?" His voice was deeper than the depths of the ocean. "B-because I love my Hyung, my Namjoon Hyung! I can't leave him!" Jimin tilted his head, his anger starting to rise up again. Jin looked down with frustration and slight humiliation as well.

Jimin put his finger below and forced Jin to look up at him. "But then if you don't do as I say, then you can't really expect me to help you get your 'Hyung' back. Namjoon will still be there, suffering, due to the abuse that my dear friend is giving him. He can be pretty harsh. And..." Jimin raised his hand and started admiring how beautiful the gems, rings, bracelets, suited him. The man always did this whenever he was feeling satanic or highly prideful then usual. He started speaking in his sweet honey voice which is a sinful trap to fall in.

"Since Namjoon is still a human, if he's stuck with Taehyung for way too long, then he can easily start getting Stockholm's syndrome. This means that he will fall for Taehyung and then eventually...be willingly give himself to him. He will basically leave you if that happens." Suddenly, burning tears dropped out of Jin's eyes at the sudden thought. "No! N-no, my Hyung w-won't...l-leave me! HE TOOK THE PLEDGE TO NEVER LEAVE ME!" Jin shouted with everything he had. Guards were alerted and about to come but Jimin just raised his hand, as a signal for them to stop.

"But then, maybe...he can break the pledge because perhaps he became...evil?" Jimin said with a sad pout and fake sadness, of course. Jin seemed to start thinking. "B-but, my Hyung's not like that-" "Yet, he's not like that, yet." Jimin cut the other off. A sudden look of pride shined on his face. He put his hand which was filled with prestigious accessories on top of Jin's hair. "So if you want to save him from everything that awaits in front of him, you will have to trust me and give me what I long from you.

If you love him, then love me. If you want him, then be mine."

Jin was still in a state of heavy thoughts. Too many things were going through his head all in once and Jimin was aware of that. So he patiently waited. "Y-you promise that you will help me save H-Hyung?" Jimin lightly nodded his head with a smile, internally cooing at how cute Jin looked with tears dampening his face and redness flowing across his skin due to all the crying.

Jin looked down. He didn't want to go in the arms of the person that he hated so much, the person that was the polar opposite of what he was, dirty, evil, and sinful. He hated Jimin, but if he wanted Namjoon to just escape Taehyung, then he would do it. It doesn't matter if he can't have Namjoon, eventhough he truly wants his hyung to be beside him, as long as Namjoon is safe, and happy, Jin's broken heart and pride doesn't matter. Because Jin will pay the price of Namjoon's freedom. But well, that's just what Jin thought.

Jin looked up at Jimin one last time after a long pause. "Fine, but you HAVE to save my Hyung." Jimin's smile just grew even wider. "Guards! Spread the message across the whole dimension and kingdom about another new King. Spread the words about my moon, for there shall be the biggest celebration in the whole universe!" Jimin cheered along with everyone else in that room. Jin just...cried more. The poor soul really didn't want this, but fate seemed to not love him at this current moment.
