⫷16. The Plan
Author's POV
As soon as Namjoon heard the last word, he started choking, very badly. He choked super loudly while holding his throat and trying to come back to his normal state. Jin patted Joon's back while looking at him worriedly. "Bro, it ain't even that bad that you are choking this much" After a while, Namjoon started to slowly get better.
But suddenly they heard a feminine yet slightly robotic voice. "Sir, do you require human medical assistance?" Namjoon flinched really hard and jumped onto Jin. The ghost, fortunately, caught the human in his arms thanks to his amazing reflexes. Namjoon quickly wrapped his hands around Jin's neck tightly while his eyes widened. He was shocked by the sudden voice that came. He thought they were the only two beings inside the house, except for the pets.
Namjoo looked properly at the figure and saw a bald robot with what seemed like blue medical scrubs covering her body. The robot had blue eyes with hands right down on each of her sides. "Oh my God, Mira! How many times have I told you not to appear out of nowhere and freak me and my guests out?!" Jin raised his voice due to shock.
"I beg for apologies, sir. For I was just wanting the best for your precious guest. He was looking very unwell." Jin sighed and glanced down at his Hyung, who was still looking at the robot. He put Namjoon back down on the ground and brushed his shoulders. Namjoon just cleared his throat with slight uneasiness. "What kind of robot is this?" He asked Jin. "This is a medical robot. They are made to help with any medical problems. For example, they can easily treat your wounds, prescribe you some simple medications, stitch up a bleeding area, and much more."
"Bruh, aren't you guys ghosts? Then why the hell will you need a medical bot?" "Well, first of all, even ghosts can get injured and sick. Though, we don't feel it as bad as you humans. So as an example, if I ever get an extreme human injury or sickness, then I wouldn't feel anything much more than a very slight and ignorable pain. But if YOU get a ghost injury or sickness, then you would be on the verge of dying or basically dead. Though don't worry, humans can never get a ghost injury."X
Namjoon's brain nearly exploded with another bit of information about the ghosts. "So that's why these bots are here. Another reason is that the half-dead lives that come here can easily get injured by a lot of things because their body becomes extra sensitive due to being between two worlds." "So the half-dead theory doesn't apply to the living human beings?" Namjoon asked again. "Nope! It doesn't"
"Sir, I will ask again, do you require human medical assistance?" The robot asked again "No, he doesn't, Mira. Now go back to the charging room." Jin sighed. The robot nodded and strolled back to a different room in the house. Jin looked in the same direction she went. "Mike!" He called out with a slightly loud voice.
Soon another robot appeared. Now, he seemed like a butler to Namjoon, due to the fancy suit, white gloves, and white towel that hung off his forearm. The butler looked at Jin and bowed. "How may I be of any help, sir?" He asked. "Well can you be a dear and prepare a table in the lounge so that my friend and I can have a cup of tea?" Namjoon looked at Jin while trying to control his laughter. "Bro, you sound kinda English."
Jin just ignored him and rolled his eyes. "Yes, sir! I will get the lounge on the 3rd floor prepared in just a few seconds. Also, shall I bring your preferable tea for the both of you?" The robot asked again. "Yes, please do that." With that, Jin grabbed Namjoon's hand and pulled him up the stairs. "We need to have a long talk." Namjoon nodded and followed along.
The two beings sat on the luxurious chairs in front of the huge window which showed the night sky and garden outside. "So about finding the soul. How did you lose in the first place? Aren't you like...suppose to have it with you all the time?" Joon broke the silence through his words. "Well, I AM supposed to have it with me all the time, but I lost it. And that was because of a glitch that happened when I entered this world and became a ghost. It made my body and soul separate from each other and go to two different places." Jin explained while sipping his butterfly pea tea.
"But how are you even doing these things, like thinking, talking, feeling emotions, without your soul being with you?" "Well, your soul can still operate on you regardless of where it is. It can operate from Mars while you're on Jupiter. It works from different dimensions as well." "Then how did your soul get readen in the soul-reader?" "The soul still has its radiation and signals over the owner's body. So it wasn't really a problem." Jin replied again.
"So, if it can work from anywhere, then why do you need it? To go to heaven?" Namjoon frowned while trying to understand. "Well, no. I am allowed to go to heaven even without my soul." "Then why do you need it?" "You see, I want to work in the department which involves fighting against evil. It's a department that angels work in. I basically want to become an angel and work there. Though, it's awfully hard to get in. You have to be very capable and eligible to go into it through your motives and how hard you work on things. I just want to destroy all the evil in this universe, which is nearly impossilble. And yes, your essence plays a major role as well.
Luckily, I am eligible to go there. But the only thing is that...I need my soul for that." Jin gave out a sad pout. Namjoon's brain went slightly blank. This dude...is genuinely...a nice guy. Like bro! It feels as if he is an unrealistic character from a fanfiction or something! "My man...how the hell are you so...fucking nice?" "I am not nice, I just have good intentions." Namjoon raised one of his eyebrows. "What do you mean, 'I am not nice'? You literally have such high goodness that you are basically accepted to become an angel. Bitch! Stop being so modest!" Namjoon yelled.
"Bruh I swear I am not!" Jin whined and Namjoon just rolled his eyes. The elder male picked up his cup aggressively, which resulted in a little bit of tea spilling on the floor. But he didn't notice that and just took long sips of his tea. "Anyways, now to the main thing. The plan." Namjoon paused while drinking his tea and looked up. "Plan of what?" "The plan of you getting my soul back, you idiot!" "Ohhh, right. Yeah, go on,"
"For now, don't ask any questions until I am done explaining. Because it will be very distracting." Namjoon nodded his head. "To free my soul aka find it, we need to go in different dimensions, basically different worlds." Namjoon raised both of his eyebrows in surprise. There are different dimensions? "Now I will explain all of this in the end so just listen.
Going to different dimensions is a thing that only very specific people can do. But there is a way that we can go there as well. We have to read out a spell in which we can be allowed to dimension-travel. Though, this spell is trapped in a room. It's called, The Room of Spells. It's located in one of the palaces of the King of The Night. He has a lot of palaces. This room is in the palace where the king holds most of his parties. Yup, that prick loves partying." Jin said with hatred and started talking again.
"Anyways, the palace is not located in this dimension, but it CAN come. And that happens when the King of The Night holds a party in the ghost world. He is usually not allowed to interact with our world because everyone thinks that he will cast a spell on the ghosts in here and make them his slaves. Though, after his...'love' came to this world, he made an official promise and signed a document which stated that he will not do anything to the ghosts and stay away from their vision.
But if he does do anything, then 25 percent of his powers can be taken. Now looking at how powerful he is, that's a lot of strength to be given if something happens. So that's how he holds a party in his world every 2 starlights. Starlights are basically years but in the paranormal world version. We call years starlights in every dimension, except the human dimension, the dimension where all the things that you think are reality, exist.
I think the King holds this party so that he can show that very specific person how much he loves him and just how passionate he is. Now, the party, Night of Shadows, is going to be happening in just a few days. Though, off-topic, I have heard that both the King of Night and King of Dark are holding this party. I honestly don't know why. I will tell you more about that guy, later.
Moving on! So, since everyone is invited to the party, we can easily go in there. Then we will find the room and get the spell. I will memorise the spell and then eventually use it when we start our journey. After that, we will have to go to 6 out of 7 main dimensions to find something called, The Pandora's Box" At this point, Namjoon couldn't hold his curiosity inside anymore.
"Sorry, but did you just say Pandora's Box? Does it actually exist?!" Jin sighed. "I was about to explain! Anyways, yes, it does. It is something that is actually a thing in this universe. But you humans were not supposed to know about it. " "Then how the hell do we know about it?" "When the information of Pandora's Box was being sent to every dimension, someone from the HQ in Heaven accidentally sent it to the Human dimension as well. Though, the information was immediately retrieved, so that the humans only know the name and not the purpose of the box.
Now, this box has something that is extremely important. It has the spell to the Road of Darkness and Lightness. This road is the pathway to heaven and hell. It's very hard to return from there, so it usually takes a lot of time for the spell to process and bring back the people who are trying to come back. So yeah, we have to go there and catch my soul that is stuck in the middle of the road of Darkness and Lightness. And that's how we get my soul back. Also just in case if you are wondering, then yes, there is no rule that denies us ghosts or perhaps from going there. It's just that, it's immensely difficult to reach there due to all the processes and finding the spell to go there."
Namjoon's brain...exploded again. That was a lot of information that Jin just gave him once again. "Oh...wow!" Namjoon paused because he didn't know what to say. But he started speaking again. "So what are the main dimensions?" Namjoon asked. "Dimension of Dreams and Imaginations, Dimension of Numbers and Science, Dimension of Truth and Lies, Dimension of Evil and Good, Dimension of Night and Day, and lastly, Dimension of Humanity. These are the dimensions that exist in this whole universe. But we aren't going to the human dimension because I'm 200 percent sure that the box is not there. Also, the craziest thing about the ghost world is that it doesn't come in any of these dimensions. I honestly don't know why, so don't ask about it."
"Woah! Also, you know how you said that the info about Pandora's Box accidentally got leaked to us, humans? Then what about the 7 deadly sins? Did they get leaked as well?" "Well, for that thing. They actually got purposely spread to all the dimensions." "Who did it?" Asked Namjoon. "The man who made it spread it himself. Park fucking Jimin decided that it will be great idea to spread the word of his made-up sins and even name them."
"Why did he do that, though?" "From what I have read, he did it so he can provoke all evil people like him. But thinking back at it, it's actually pretty dumb to do that. Because then it will just make other people aware that doing those things are a sin. Oh right, He is Park Jimin, he loves to show off. He might have done that to probably just make everybody aware of it. It's like, 'You hate me, but you know me." (a/n, Ayo, Cypher 4 is a bop yall!)
"Bruh, how do you know this much info?" "Well, there is a library in the town and I also have loads of books, so I just read them in my free time. That's why I know a lot. I also try to know about my surroundings." Namjoon cringed slightly. "Wow bro, you sound so like a tipical nerd. Might as well put on some huge round glasses, it will make you look legit." Namjoon said jokingly. "Actually, I DO wear glasses!" Jin smiled.
They both laughed. "So, do you wanna go to bed now?" Jin asked casually. Though, Namjoon on the other hand, had a different reaction. "But, I thought we were just...best friends. Don't you think it's too early to...you know..." Namjoon had a straight-up perverted grin while saying that. At first, Jin didn't get but then he slowly realised what the human was talking about. "YAH! WHAT THE HELL GOES THROUGH THAT DIRTY MIND OF YOURS?!" Jin shouted while throwing multiple pillows at him.
Namjoon just dodged them all while laughing his lungs out. "That was...that was a joke!" He was still holding onto his tummy while laughing loudly. Jin stopped and rolled his eyes. "So do you wanna go to SLEEP now?" Jin asked again. "Yeah, sure!" "Ok, I will get your room prepared." Jin was about to call a bot until Joon held his forearm.
"Bro, can I sleep with you, it kinda gets lonely, especially I left everything behind and stuff." Namjoon had a serious look on his face. "But if you are uncomfortable-" "Nah! We're besties, sharing a bed is no biggie" The ghost gave his beautiful smile. Namjoon smiled back "Mike, please get my bedroom prepared for sleep. Also, get one of my pajamas for my guest." Jin shouted.
