"Lu-Chan, wanna go on a job with me?" Levy asked as she jumped around like a little kid. Lucy smiled at her cuteness and nodded.

"Sure, what's the job about?"

"We have to go and protect a library from thieves, the city we're going to isn't that far away and a reward is nice too..!" She explained and grabbed Lucy's upper arm. She slightly flinched without Levy noticing.

"Mira, we're going on this job!" Blue haired Script Mage told Mira as she nodded and approved them to go.

"Hold it right there, shrimp!" Gajeel called out and stood in front of them, stopping them from passing by.

"What is it, Gajeel?" Levy asked as he had a hard look on his face, many couldn't make out what that face meant, only Levy did. It was worry.

"I'll tag along, we're a team after all." He said as Levy smiled and agreed for him to go. She asked Lucy before if that was okay, and she said 'yes'.

Lucy was actually feeling nice today and she didn't want anything to ruin it.

As they were walking towards the exit a certain salmon haired boy and short white haired girl walked in hand in hand. He noticed Lucy and avoided their gaze. He was still angry at her.

Lucy lowered her gaze on the floor and continued walking. When they got outside Lucy stopped to take a breath in, she wanted to cry and ran right back in to hug him because she missed him so much, but this was for the best, even if it kept destroying her on the inside.

"Oh.. Lu, are you okay?"

"Yeah, bunny girl, you okay?" Levy and Gajeel asked as they noticed her expression. She was shattered, but that was fine with her, better she than anyone else, right?

"I'm good you guys, no need to worry. I just kinda.. well.. I miss him.." she said and bit her lip pretty hard. Gajeel and Levy felt bad for her, since they both remembered their friendship, it was the purest bond they had ever seen.

Levy walked closer to Lucy and wrapped her arms around her. She wanted to give her as much comfort as she possibly could, she wanted her best friend to be happy again and move on. Gajeel watched them with a kind smile, he might've looked like a tough guy, but he had feelings as any other human.

None of them knew Natsu was peeking from guilds door, he heard everything and then closed the door. He felt bad for Lucy, even though he didn't want to admit it to himself, but he missed her too, even more then she missed him. He felt like there was something missing in his life. It was like a new heartbreak everyday, but he couldn't get over how upset he was before. He made a 'tsk' noise remembering it and walked away.

The last time they spoke was when she came up to him and said Merry Christmas. That was over 6 months ago and after that their friendship became a blank.

The three of them chilled at the library for the whole day, they talked, Gajeel and Levy acted lovey dovey. Lucy was happy they became so close, and there was a bit of jealousy with in her because she wanted her and Natsu to be like that again.

The night came by pretty quickly, and they were set on guard. Everyone on each side.

"Ahh!" Levy winced in pain as a magic attack came out of nowhere, striking her in the arm.

"Levy, are you alright?!" Gajeel yelled and came running to help her. She grumped and held her arm. Lucy came to her and began wrapping it up while Gajeel shielded them.

"Come out ya bastards, so I can beat you into pulp for hurting my shrimp!!" He shouted, causing thieves to get a cold chill down the spine.

One of them panicked for a second and slipped on the tree, thanks to Gajeel's dragon slayer hearing, he heard him loud and clear.

"Iron Dragon's Roar!!" He called out an attack and knocked down one thief. At the same time, Lucy finished wrapping up Levy's arm and they were ready to help. Unfortunately, it was dark so it was hard to see.

"Open! Gate of the lion, Leo!" Lucy shouted as light surrounded her and in seconds a tall man was standing in front of her in defensive positions.

"On your service, master.."

"Thank you for coming, please take them out!" She comanded when her hands grabbed the whip. Loke used his Regulus and knocked some of them out.

Gajeel stayed close to Levy, not wanting anything bad happening to her again. He knew Lucy didn't need protecting, so he could be at peace.

The fight didn't last long, all thieves were on the ground in less then 15 minutes, Lucy did a great job with her spirits and whip, Levy managed using her magic for a minute, protecting Gajeel when the attacker came from the back, and Gajeel didn't break a sweat since he was a powerful Dragon Slayer.

"We did it, Lu-chan!" Levy cheered and jumped into Lucy's arms. Lucy, of course, embraced her back as they celebrated for few moments.

After they collected the reward in the morning, they were on the way back to Fairy Tail. It didn't took them long to come back, the only thing that was annoying on the way was Gajeel's motion sickness.

Lucy, Levy and Gajeel walked into the guild, talking to each other. When Lucy stepped the foot on the guilds floor, she immediately regretted it. There they were, Natsu and Lisanna, kissing passionately.

Lucy's heart sunk as she saw them, her eyes filled with tears as sharp pain struck her chest so hard she had to leave. She ran back to her house, she just couldn't bring herself to watch them.

She quickly closed the door when she ran into her house. She collapsed on her knees, her tears fell frequently, not having any interest in stopping. Her heart broke, once again.

"I can't do this anymore," she cried out as she walked towards her desk and grabbed a piece of paper and a pen. "I'm sorry.." she whispered when tears continued dripping onto the paper.

Dear Fairy Tail,
I'm so sorry to all of you, but if someone is reading this then that means I'm no longer here. I just wanted to say that I'm so grateful for everything you guys gave me. Life is a beautiful gift which all of you should cherish, but I failed in doing that. I know some of you will think I'm a coward for giving up and taking a shortcut out. I also know everyone will be furious at my action, but none of you knew my problems nor my pain, I know I should've told you, but I just couldn't bring myself to worry you. I did this because I woke up every morning wishing I didn't and I did this because my mind became so poisoned that I couldn't handle it anymore. This letter might only hurt you more, but all of you deserved some kind of an explanation. Once again, I'm so sorry, this might be selfish of me but I just can't bare it anymore. I died the moment when my heartbeats lost their purpose. I have to go now, my mind will become a blank any second, I love you..

Lucy dropped the pen as she was sobbing and crying uncontrollably, she covered her eyes and bended down, screaming into her hands. Her legs suddenly led her to her pharmacy in the house where she kept all kinds of medicine. She took a bunch of pill bottles and sat on her bed with trembling hands.

I'll do it, I'll finally do it..! She thought as she had pills in her palms. She stared at them and thought.

She thought about Levy, Mira, Erza, Gray.. they were the people she trusted the most. She felt sad for leaving them, but she just wanted to be free. Her tears streamed down her chin as she was about to put the pils in her mouth.

Knock, knock

Lucy panicked as she heard a sound on the door, she quickly put the pills away and placed them back to their place. She took her suicide note and threw it in one of her drawers. She whipped away her tears and opened the door...

"Hey.." he said.
