Knock, knock.

"I'll get it!" Blonde shouted and got up from the black couch. She was home alone but for some reason she announced her movement. Her cheeks reddened at the embarrassing manner.

Her feet reached the door in few seconds and opened them. Her head was barely sticking out from the door frame.

She was introduced to a tall man with straight black hair. He was leaning on the outside wall with his eyes closed. As soon as the doors cracked open they opened as well.

"Can I help you, sir?"

"Is Natsu here?" He asked, sounding annoyed.

"Um.. no, he's not. May I know who you are?"

The man chuckled.

You do.

"You will." He said before walking off, leaving a confused blonde at the door step.

After closing the door Lucy's eyesight blurred, but not because tears were welling up.

Everything became fuzzy; then she saw nothing at all. Her consciousness was floating through an empty space filled with a thick static.

Throughout the inky space her heartbeats pounded loudly, echoing in my ears, alongside fading pleas for help.

Feeling her body draining away until all went black.

"Luce! I'm back-" Natsu opened the door expecting to be greeted by Lucy's warm smile, but there was none. Salmon haired boy dropped the bags he held from the grocery store and sprinted beside the laying Celestial mage.

"What's wrong, Lucy?! Hey! Talk to me!" He shook her limp body desperately before calling an ambulance.

"Don't worry.. you're going to be okay..." The boy held her body close to his chest while stroking her hair. Worry in him rising to an unbelievable extent.

She's so cold...

After 10 minutes that seemed like an eternity you could hear faint sound of sirens in the distance. Natsu let out a sigh of relief, now sure everything would end up alright.

Oh how wrong he was.

"Where's the patient?!" A man in white shouted from the door and immediately noticed the blonde.

He and another man ran to her and checked her pulse. Their eyes widened quickly as they pushed Natsu aside.

"We need to give her electric treatment! Her pulse is barely there, she's going to die if we don't hurry!" Black haired doctor warned, the other one with longer blonde hair rushed into their vehicle.

Natsu's heart began pounding and he became short on breath.

They'll save her... They have to!

Few seconds after, the second doctor came back with a stretcher. They put Lucy carefully on them and carried her into the vehicle. Fire mage was quick to follow them. 

He begged them to tell him how he could help but he got no answers, all he could do was sit helplessly and praying to anyone to save her.

What did she ever do to deserve life like this?!

"This isn't good, we're losing her!" Doctor yelled while preforming electroshocks with his magic. Natsu gritted his teeth and gripped harder onto his arm in distress.

"Lucy.." he sobbed quietly.

Doctors attempts to bring her back failed one after another, it seemed like Lucy wasn't going to make it alive out of this..
