"Hey.." he said.

Lucy's eyes widened at the sight in front of her. Salmon haired boy, her ex-best friend stood right in front of her at her door.

"N-Natsu..?" She yelped, new tears replacing the old ones. When Natsu looked at her face, he noticed something that made his whole mood change. He saw her red and puffy eyes, her tear stained face, she was crying before he came here, the sight made his heart sink.

"Why were you crying..?" He said with raspy voice, the sight of her like this made him want to cry as well. Lucy seemed shocked at his question.

"W-What do you mean, I wasn't crying." Lucy defended, but Natsu saw right through her, he didn't believe her for even a second.

"Don't lie to me Luce.. I know you.."

"Do you want to come inside?"

"Don't ignore my question..!"

"Fine.. so what if I was? It doesn't matter anyway.." Lucy muttered to herself, but Natsu heard every word which made his look harden.

"Well it matters to me, I have the right to at least know! So tell me, why were you crying! Please.." he begged, he was desperate for her to feel better, even a little bit.

"You don't have the right to know! You lost that right the moment you left!" She shouted as her anger raised at his words, how the hell could he think that she was still obligated to tell him everything he desired to know?!

"Oh really?! I think I never even had that right to begin with! You never even talked to me about your problems, and you're doing it again! I don't know why I even came her, oh wait no, I do! I wanted to apologize for leaving and I wanted to see you again! I missed you so much that I regretted our drifting apart every day, but you just reminded me of why I left!" He screamed as Lucy had written shock all over her face. He walked out of the door. She got the answer why he left, it really was her fault...

"I'm sorry.." she whispered, her legs felt weak so she sat on the bed. She gritted her teeth and put her palms on her head for support, tears fell uncontrollably as she regretted her actions so much. Natsu was outside the door, leaning on them as he heard her crying, he regretted his words too, his tears fell slowly, but painfully as he shaky held the doorknob to go back inside. The crying in the apartment stopped.

He twisted the doorknob to go check on Lucy and apologize for shouting at her, but the sight in front of him made him tremble in fear. Lucy was lying on the bed, motionless with pills spilled around her.

"LUCY!!" He shouted and went to her side. He gently grabbed her head, he wiped her eyes and removed her bangs from sweaty forehead. Looks like the pills started working.

"No, no, no! Please, wake up, Lucy! WAKE UP!!" He shouted as his sight became blurry.  He picked her up bridal style and ran to the closest hospital, after a while his arms and legs started burning, but he didn't dare to stop in his tracks.

His head lowered to look at Lucy as she was getting paler and paler by seconds, he was so terrified of the thought about losing her. He cursed at himself for letting this happed, silent tears running down his cheeks.

"H-Help.. p-please!" Natsu breathed, paramedics were in front of him in seconds, nurses too. Their faces were terrified, but the questions they had needed to wait. Natsu handed Lucy to them as he collapsed on his knees.

"DAMN IT!!!" He lashed out in the air, everyone in the hospital could feel the same devastating and heartbreaking feelings he did. He smashed his fist at the floor, making a huge crack in it.
