Npov

I heard Will's dad's voice and started shaking. He had run into the forest awhile ago. He had ran into this forest.

He was right there!

Will held me close to him as his dad walked into the clearing. Apollo seemed to relax when he saw us, "Oh. It's just you. Actually, I've been looking for you."

I looked nervously up at Will. My ears were flat against my head.

"I know you don't like me, and honestly, I don't like you either but-"

"Get to the point." Will said.

"Be patient." Apollo snapped, then continued."But I don't want Hera in the castle any more than you do."

Will and his dad glared at eachother for awhile before he said, "So I decided I need to help you."

What?! Why would he help us?

"Why should we trust you?" Thalia asked.

"How do you know you can trust eachother?" He raised an eyebrow. "Especially you, Thalia. They just met you."

Thalia glared at him, but didn't disagree.

I pressed myself into Will, because now Apollo was staring directly at me.

"Faggot." I heard Apollo mutter.

That was the last straw for me. In a flash, I was a cat leaping through the air, about to attack him. He didn't look surprised. I landed on his chest and was about to bite him-

Something sharp poked my shoulder and black spots started to cloud my vision. I suddenly felt very tired.

"That's right. Go to sleep, little kitty." Apollo said.

Then I went unconscious.

"What did you do to him?!" I yelped, fearing he was dead.

"Relax, he's just unconscious." My dad grumbled, handing me Nico. "Now take your cat."

I glared at him, and cradled Nico in my arms. "Go away."

"You need me to defeat her, Will."

"I don't care. Go away."

"No. I'm doing what's best for the kingdom."

I glared at him some more, but I knew he was right. We had to work together to fix this.

"Fine. But you don't touch Nico. At all. Got it?"

"Getting protective, are we? Anyway, fine, I won't touch him."

"For the entire time you're with us?"

"For the entire Im I'm with you."

"Good. So...what's you're plan?"

Nico just woke up and we informed him of my dad's plan. He seemed nervous about it.

"Alright. Yeah. I understand."

"Are you okay with it?"

He nodded, though he still seemed a bit upset. Unfortunately, I didn't have much choice but to go along with my dad's plan. It seemed to be the only way.

And then we were on our way to the castle.

Nico turned into a cat when we got there. He went ahead of us, telling us if the coast was clear or not. So far, nothing had happened and it was making me nervous. I wondered if this was all a trick.

I hoped not.

I hoped my dad was finally on our side. I hoped that this plan would work out (A/N: I'd just like to let you guys know that the word "fine" autocorrects to "crying over solangelo" and well I'll just let you think about that.) fine, that I would get my kingdom back, and there would be no more wars.

I found this very unlikely.

You don't have a choice. I reminded myself, not for the first time that day.

Nico led us through a hallway that I recognized as the hallway with my bedroom. But this wasn't like old times and we walked right by my bedroom door.

Nico led us to the room where I had met with Hazel to ask her if I could go out with Nico. I heard voices. I recognized them both.

Then it hit me.

Octavian is working for Hera.

(A/N: I really wanna end the chapter here... I really don't want to keep writing... ugh. I'm really starting to hate this fic.)
